There is a wood burning fire place in the living room, a pellet stove in the sun room and a gas fire place in one of the bedrooms and yes we provide wood. Linens are provided. Cable TV and Netflix!

The camp was a great getaway for our family. It was clean and there was plenty of space and outdoor activities for everyone. Our host Michael responded quickly to the few questions we had. Highly recommended!

Water Lovers Dream

It is a great property with beautiful views of the lake. Lots of kayaks are available for guests to use, with easy access to the water from the shore or dock. I'll definitely stay again during my next visit to Galway Lake!

Gorgeous views

Gorgeous and serene location. Loved waking up to the lake, drinking coffee looking at the lake, sitting on the dock with a glass of wine in the evening, and kayaking. It was also close enough to Saratoga Springs that we were able to pop over for dinner and for the races. The kitchen is well appointed and having the washer/dryer was an added bonus. Lots of room in this house. Perfect for a relaxing vacation.

Lovely

Enjoyed this place so much last year that we book it again. The house is so spacious and clean. Outdoor patio and dock were wonderful. Didn't need a thing while relaxing the whole week! Host is readily available for any questions.

Beautiful lakefront vacation home

The multiple porches and dock were ideal, and we loved to kayak on the beautiful lake. The communication with the owner was very good.

Living the Lake Life!

What a wonderful getaway. Michael's home is warm, cozy and each room has a wonderful view of Galway Lake. We loved early morning kayaking and just floating in the lake. Hanging on the porches, bbqing and just relaxing! The kitchen is filled with everything you need to cook a great meal and you are close to a lot of great restaurants if you have a hankering to leave the property! Michael is easily reachable and made the stay perfect! Look forward to a longer stay next summer!

We stayed on the property for 4 nights. Wish the weather would have cooperated more but not the properties problem. We cooked breakfast every morning. Everything you needs to make breakfast was available. Will definitely stay at the property in the future.

We had a great time.

The new dock with the recline chairs were perfect for watching amazing sunrises. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything you could need. Would definitely come back!!

Wonderful, relaxing vacation!

The house was spacious, clean, comfortable and beautifully maintained. We enjoyed kayaking and building fires, but spent most of the time on the deck and in the "sun room” – the waterfront location and view were beautiful. Overall the stay felt like visiting a friend’s house, rather than renting one.

Beautiful Lake / Relaxing Vacation

The property is exactly as described, but Galway lake is even more beautiful than the pictures. The house is extremely well-equipped and the bedrooms are very comfortable. Views from the sitting room and deck are fantastic. The lake is picturesque, quiet and (at least for us) not at all crowded. We would definitely stay there again and recommend the property.

Fourth of July on the Lake

The house was wonderful. Large enough to host a group of 7 friends comfortably. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. The lake is beautiful - we sat on the dock surrounded by fish and a family of ducks and watched a bald eagle circling the lake from the kayaks. Would absolutely recommend to anyone traveling as a group or a family.

Exactly as Advertised

The Lake House is exactly as shown in the pictures. The interior spaces are all extremely comfortable. We spent most of our mornings in the sunroom, which is wonderful. After dinner drinks on the deck overlooking the lake were perfect. I definitely recommend this property and Michael and his property manager Veronica. Both are top flight.

Great fishing!

Nice and quiet, beautiful view of the lake, loved the sunroom and deck to sit and look out over the lake. Nice dock with chairs for fishing. Used kayaks almost everyday. Caught lots of fish from dock and from kayaks out on the lake. House was well equipped. Michael was very responsive when we had questions. We would go back.

Great Labor Day weekend at the lake

We had a great weekend at the lake house. In spite of a few housekeeping issues to start, the house manager addressed them and both her and the owner were very responsive and helpful. The kitchen is well suited for cooking dinners and the house with the view of the lake leaves you no choice but to relax and slow down. Teens Kayaked while adults relaxed at the waterfront, nightly fires , s’mores and nice neighbors. We will definitely try and come back!

Beautiful lake house

My friends and I had a wonderful time cooking for each other, building fires, and using the lake. It was a relaxing space to be in, and you can tell the owners put a lot of care into setting it up. We had a lot of people (6 at a time) working from the house, and the wifi was not great at times. Would work well if there were less demand on it.

Lovely

Our family of 5 enjoyed the very roomy, clean and comfortable lake house. Took full advantage, daily, of the kayaks & zero gravity chairs on lakeside dock. The fishing was good right off the dock as well as out in kayak. The house flowed nicely from Kitchen to sunroom. Bedrooms very spacious and we all slept great on comfy beds! Very quiet lake. Our host was very kind. Thank you , again. We hope to visit another time, God willing. M.L.

Lovely lake retreat

We had a wonderful stay at this Galway lake rental. Our host, Michael, was friendly and gracious when we arrived, showing us around and making us comfortable with his home. He even came by when I called with a few questions about lighting and fan controls. The rental itself was everything the pictures depicted. Just beautiful, roomy and relaxing with an amazing view of the lake. We kayaked, walked, had a day at the races and enjoyed fires at night in the outdoor fire pit. Beautiful setting

We loved the outdoors. The lake is beautiful and we swam and used the boat and kayaks. The house was very well decorated and had a terrific family room. The only issue with the house was that there was a one step up to enter eachbedroom in the second floor. So if you are older or don’t see well, it would be easy to fall. Our host, Michael, was very nice and treated us to a couple if pay per view movies. I would stay here again.

Relaxing vacation

Galway lake is a small quiet lake. The house was nice, well equipped with a beautiful view from the sunroom. Beds were comfortable and neighbors were quiet. The house was not cleaned to our standards upon arrival but Michael came to the house quickly to discuss the issue and rectified the situation to our satisfaction. We enjoyed the kayaks but unfortunately there was too much seaweed in the lake for us to comfortably swim from the dock, which was a little disappointing for our teenager.

Best Vacation Ever!

We couldn't recommend this house, and the owner Michael, highly enough. Both were exceptional. The house is exactly as pictured so the location is outstanding. The house itself extremely well-stocked for a vacation home with tons of helpful amenities. Of course, with the lake on your doorstep, we made full use of the kayaks and canoes and had a really fabulous time. On top of all that, there's Michael, super helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble for him. Do yourself a favor and book Michael's place you will not regret the views, the amenities, or your host! The family voted it our best vacation ever! Thank you Michael.

Spacious home on a beautiful lake

My husband and I stayed with a another couple in this beautiful home on the lake. The main floor has a large kitchen/living room area and a spacious sunroom where we enjoyed our coffee every morning looking out at the great view of the lake. There were several options to have our meals including a large kitchen table, however, because the weather was so nice we chose to eat either at the table in the sunroom or at the one on the deck. The lake is very clean and we took advantage of the kayaks that were at the property to explore the lake. The upstairs bedrooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. Michael is a great host! He responded quickly to any questions we had. Looking forward to coming back to this home again soon!

Beautiful lake front

Nice place with lots of space. Everything we needed there. Bed was comfortable in master bedroom facing road. Champagne for us on arrival.was kind. We went out-in tandem kayak for a tour of the lake. It was nice without gas powered boats around. Lots of bird/duck/goose watching. We saw a Bald eagle each day we were there. Neighbors were friendly and not loud.. the only thing I would suggest is a book/or guide for/at the house letting the renters know some things about the house ( garbage removal, info on locks/keys, is there a garbage disposal, witch kayaks outside are ok to use... etc.). We have found this to be helpful at other rentals. Thank you .
