Cozy 3 bedroom cabin with pretty views and a short drive to Luray Caverns
Shenandoah Vista derives its name as one can view a bend of the winding Shenandoah River through the woods (best view in winter, but can be seen in the summer months as well). Whether hanging out on the wrap around deck or relaxing inside the cabin, both offer a view that, no matter the season, is one of beauty! The town of Luray (home to Luray Caverns), along with a variety of shops and restaurants, is 20 minutes away. If visiting Shenandoah NP, the Thornton Gap entrance is a beautiful 28 minute drive from the home. Whether you're looking to fill your days with outdoor activities or prefer to make your stay a sanctuary for relaxing moments, either can be found while staying at Shenandoah Vista!  Weâre pet friendly (dogs only), so feel free to bring your furry friend along for your stay!
**AWD recommended if inclement weather (heavy rain / snow) - minivans can make it up the road, however not recommended
My friends and I stayed here to have a relaxing girlsâ weekend in the mountains. The owners were very easy to work with and replies to any questions or messages we sent. The view from the deck was beautiful! We would definitely book here again, or any of their other properties!
Beautiful setting, really great space for hanging out, playing board games, reading and going on local adventures. Appreciated this place as a getaway!
The house was exactly as described. Very comfortable and clean! The views from the deck are fantastic. We enjoyed breakfast outside each morning. Great proximity to Shenandoah National Park, which is where we spend almost every day and the house was the perfect resting spot after a full day on the river or hiking the trails.
Super easy check in & out. Beautiful home just outside Luray. Driveway is steep, but made it in & out fine in our Challenger. We really enjoyed having a comfortable living room area to relax in after long days out and internet was really good. The host are very helpful and kind. Definitely a great place to stay!
Everything about our stay from the beauty, cleanliness, and amenities of the cabin to the communication with the owners was excellent! We absolutely loved our stay!
David and Becky were amazing hosts. They were very accommodating with clear communication. House was super clean, cozy, and comfortable. Definitely recommend!
Decent place in a pretty area. Neighbors are a bit rough but that is no reflection on the owners. When we got there the dog kit was missing and they ran it right up to us.
We absolutely loved the cabin. Perfect location to Shenandoah and the river! The cabin was extremely clean, we loved the views and the hosts had everything ready for our stay. Our children(13 and 9) loved the fire pit, games and corn hole. We would 10/10 come here again!
My parents were visiting the area for the Fourth of July holiday and I wanted to find a good getaway location in nature. The Shenandoah Vista was the perfect getaway in a quiet location but close to many outdoor activities and historic sites. Becky and David were great hosts and communicated everything we needed to know. They even had a centerpiece specifically for the Fourth of July holiday.
Wonderful trip to Luray....the house so was so cute and had everything we needed...hosts were amazing and check in was a breeze! Can't wait to go back.....Nice adventure with the family....we hiked and checked out Luray Caverns... Beautiful and Breathtaking
Restful place to land after a day visiting Luray Caverns and exploring the Shenandoah Valley. It was fun hiking Shenandoah NP peaks knowing we were gazing at them while having our coffee on the deck that morning. Becky was quick to provide information on area vets we could contact "just in case". Would recommend to friends and family traveling through or to stay for a while.
We really enjoyed our stay! The place is nice, a little small for our big family but it worked! The owners were super nice! The view is amazing and overall the location is central to all the big attractions in the area. The only thing I would change is the fact that there was no mop. I like to vacuum daily especially when booking with multiple kids and dogs. It also rained and a mop would have been handy so we could maintain the cleanliness of the floors a little more. Other than that itâs a nice quiet place to visit! I recommended to my friends looking to book in the spring!
Shenandoah Vista was all we had hoped for, and more! This was a very comfortable home, and so clean!. The kitchen was stocked with all the equipment we needed. Movies and games were much appreciated. There were plenty of linens. This is obviously a well-kept property, and it was a joy to be able to use it for our recent few days while enjoying the Skyline Drive and Luray. Communication with the owners was excellent and very helpful! We would definitely stay here again.
Quiet place, even saw a deer or two, loved the greeting we received with the candles and the personal note, both David and Becky were sweet and personable, offered recommendations and help when needed, would have loved to have had time to met them in person, great decision to stay there, and I read reviews prior to coming and I do have to say that the shed was not an issue, if you look straight ahead at the pretty views you don't see them and being a country girl myself, I know that a shed no matter what the condition is a normal, necessary part of life.....
Super clean and comfortable cabin with amazing views! We had a girls weekend and enjoyed the views. Property owners were wonderful and responsive. Would return again!
Fabulous view of the Shenandoah NP and river from an awesome wrap around porch and deck. This place is spacious inside and out, has a well stocked kitchen, and is very clean. The owners, who live in the area, were very quick to respond to a question I had and offered to come over and remedy the situation. Private, safe, a very enjoyable place to stay, and only around 1/2 hour to the park entrance.
We are an outgoing, friendly couple who enjoy outdoor activities and fun on the river! We love hosting others and sharing the beauty of Luray and all that this area offers! Together we are business owners (Adventures Await) in addition to working as a general contractor (David) and flight attendant (Becky). We enjoy time with family, love being grandparents and although we do enjoy traveling, living near the beautiful Shenandoah River and among the beauty of the George Washington National forest makes every day feel like a vacation! Our motto... keep smiling and expect great things!! :)
