Welcome to Casa de la Playa! This gorgeous beachfront property is exactly what you are looking for to have that nice relaxing vacation!

Casa de la Playa is located in a gated community with 3 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. It has its own private pool with a spectacular view of the Ocean! You are less than 2 minutes walking to the Costa Azul Beach. You will have your own private beach gate access. If you love to surf, this is a perfect place for your family to stay at. You are a short drive to downtown San Jose del Cabo, where there are restaurants, night life, art, culture, and more! Close by is access to Walmart, La Comer, and Cedraui Selecto--all great grocery stores. There is a surf shop across the highway from the house where you can rent surf boards, paddle boards, and more! This is truly the best place to spend your vacation.

The best part, is that if you are traveling with a group of up to 24-28 people, we have 2 additional homes in the same complex, next to each other, that can accomodate your group size. Let us know if you need the additional space and we will be happy to assist!

We were a group of 3 couples and we had the best stay! We loved that each bedroom had its own bathroom plus an extra one for the living area. The beautiful beach was a 30 second walk and wasn’t busy at all. Some of the reviews we read said that the noise and music from the locals in the parking lot was was too loud but we didn’t find that. The noise from the highway was worse and that would be the only complaint if we had one. Victor was great and responded quickly with any questions we had. We would definitely go back!

Great Getaway

This is the 2nd time staying at this property and we love the private pool, decor and vibe of the whole community. The property management is great and it made for a nice getaway.

Convenient location, great access to beach

Great property with gated access and outdoor pool area. Victor was extremely helpful during check in and check out. Even assisted us with some lost luggage translation problems. Would rent again!!

Awesome Trip Excellent Property

This property has it all from an excellent safe location to beach, desert and getaways close by. The private beach access was wonderful day and night. Kristen is excellent at arranging excursions and all you could want to do in Cabo. Would stay here again.

Surf trip

Easy access to Costa Azul, zippers and old man surf breaks. We enjoyed sushi at fabric down the road and great drinks and tacos at the bar next to zippers. Great vibes.

Beautiful Stay

Wonderful property located on beautiful Costa Azul beach. We enjoyed our stay very much. They warned us about the noise from the locals on the beach but we didn't think it was too bad. The property is set up very nicely with pool and beach location. A wonderful space to spend time with family on the beach in Mexico! A few sugar ants were sharing the space with us but the property was clean and Victor checked us in and out seamlessly. We look forward to visiting again!

Happy vacationers

The property was exactly as described. Great location on the beach with easy access to everything. We surfed several times and had a great time. We stayed Wednesday through Saturday and the party music wasn’t too bad. The locals on the beach, the beach surf shop, and the restaurants were all great. I’d definitely recommend this property and stay again.

Great Value, big house, great location!

We were very pleased with this house. The location was great, the house was very spacious and in very good condition. We were a family of 6 (2 adults, 4 children ages 10-16) and really enjoyed the beach, surfing, bodyboarding, and all of the comforts of this house. The property managers were great to work with as well. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Girls trip

This was a great place to stay right on the beach. It did get loud at night especially over the weekend but the listing and previous reviews prepared us for that. We were a little disappointed that upon check in we were told that the toilet paper provided was all we would receive and that if we ran out it would be on us only because one of our bathrooms had less than half a roll when we arrived - but we didnt run out so it was a moot point. Victor handled our chwck in and he was great! He welcomed us with chips and salsa!! The lights flickered and dimmed randomly and the dryer doesnt really dry but i wonder how much of that is related to grid problems versus property maintneance. Overall i would stay again and recommend it.

Nightmare

This house is listed to be on the beach, which never states it’s not swimmable, because the waves are so strong you can drown. The worst part was it lists it’s on the beach, but it happens to be a public beach where drunks and druggies stay in the beach throughout the entire night playing music so loud that the walls in the house shake. We didn’t sleep for two nights. You can’t enjoy the outdoor pool because it’s dirty and the mosquitos are so bad you can’t sit out for long. I called and messaged the manager several times, who never responded to any of the calls I made. The only person who ever responded was Daniel who final returned my call and said he would call local police. The police came and all the beach people left. We finally had a good nights sleep the last night we were there. This place is just not what I thought it was, and the drive to San Lucus is more like 30 minute drive and not what was listed. Overall the place and experience was disappointing. I would not recommend this home to anyone who is coming to relax. I’ve done VRBO homes many times and have never had a worse experience. It was literally a nightmare.

We have it stated on the listing what beach this property sits on and within the contract it informs you that that beach is public and there is a possibility of loud noises on weekends. You signed this contract. Also previous reviews mentioned the loud music as well as the beach being public. There are certain times when you can swim in the waters, but as the listing states it is great for surfing. All of your messages were answered. We have a pool company clean the pool 2x per week and this was never mentioned during your stay of any issues with the pool or mosquitos. You informed us about the partying on the last night and we wish you would have informed us on the first night so we could have assisted earlier in your stay. Thank you!

The property is as generally stated. We stayed a week, and the music issue is REAL, and it was every night for at least 3 - 4 hrs., bring ear plugs as there is not much anyone can do about it. The police come and the music returns once they leave. If you are a night owl or like to party all night long and sleep during the day, then this might be the perfect fit. Pro's and Con's to the property. Generally, thought we got what we paid for. This was our first time doing VRBO and it was a good experience overall. The view and the beach were great! Watching the surfers and my 10-year-old boogie board were awesome! Property management company did an excellent job communicating prior to arrival and especially upon arrival and during our stay...Thank you, Victor! The private pool area is in much needed maintenance - rough concreate, broken pool parts etc., and a rusty table we called the tetanus table. Gardeners and pool cleaners came as expected. The pool has a heater (was told it does not work) its Mexico so it was chilly yet tolerable and useable. House had everything we needed in the kitchen and for the beach. Gated community and being able to park in the garage were a great plus!

Beautiful property

The property was beautiful, we had to have the property manager meet us at a near by location because the address given does not show up accordingly on maps. The contract made us aware of the possible loud noise due to the beach being public but just to be clear when they say “loud noise” it is literally locals blasting EXTREMELY LOUD music, and partying on the other side of the gate that separates us from the beach until about 4:30am

The House was beautiful, the view was amazing

The check in and process was easy, they booked us a shuttle to and from the airport and Pablo answered any questions and gave us suggestions for our trip when he checked us in. The trip was awesome, would definitely stay in this house again!
