The Sandtrap is one of our most popular properties in North Myrtle Beach, and for good reason. This property, located only one block from the beach, is divided into 10 different cottages. You can rent one unit, or for larger groups such as family reunions or church group retreats, you can reserve all ten. Sandtrap #1 is a two bedroom, one bath unit that will comfortably accommodate up to eight people. It is located on the lower level and has hardwood floors, ceramic tile, and tasteful, light colored decorations. With a swimming pool, volleyball court, and basketball court, you can have a lot of fun without ever leaving the property. When you feel like going out you are close to all that the Grand Strand has to offer, including delicious restaurants, family activities, and fun night spots. This unit fills up fast, so make your reservation early and get ready for a wonderful North Myrtle Beach vacation.

Location is Key!!

Our week at Sandtrap #1 was wonderful! The space was the PERFECT location! So close to everything and a quick walk to the beach. We rented a golfcart and drove it everywhere for the week. The linen package was definitely worth adding on! Only downfall was all the stomping around we could hear from the unit above us, but even that couldn't make me rate the place lower. The check in and out process was super easy and communication was prompt and pleasant! Would definitely stay at this property again!

The beds were very comfortable. Loved the rainfall shower. The location was close to anything you wanted to do, and it was only a couple minutes walk to the beach. The only issue we had was with the door code. They had to provide us with the master code and said Maintenance would stop by to help us set our own code. They never did show up, so we used the master code the entire time.

The only complaint was that when we first got there and pulled down the covers there was hair on the mattress protectors but it did not phase us much. It was clean and ready for use and overall a wonderful company to book with! This place had everything you could need and more. Short walk to the beach, lots of places to eat at and explore near by and everyone in north myrtle was so friendly. We had one internet issue and they came and fixed it within 15 minutes.

Great family memories

The office was responsive and we found the accommodations to be affordable as compared to other beach destinations. It was nice having the pool just outside of our back door. The kids really had a blast. We did have a couple minor issues that would not impact a future stay at Sandtrap. Because we had a first floor unit, the renters above us were loud and we could hear them stomping across their unit until the late night hours. We did find 2 large roaches in our unit, which we had to kill. We stayed in unit 1. There is another building outside of that window that has carport lights on at night that light up the room. Lastly, we would have loved an option for an early check in, but that is not available. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Love having the beach close by and all of the amenities just a quick drive away.

Beds were great, mattresses vary in firmness so you can be like Goldilocks and find the one that fits you just right. Bathroom was up to date with plenty of hot water. Step out your back donor and the pool is right there. Dog park is less than ten minutes away, clean with great pet owners to friend. Any issues were resolved quickly and efficiently. Loved getting to know the workers who were friendly, caring and dedicated. Sit in the backyard and listen to the ocean at night while you count the stars!

Escape The Virus Retreat!

TV's were on in the bedrooms, & the commode was just flushed. Kinda creepy. The TV in the living room never did work & the front bedroom TV kept saying "no signal". But we stayed in the back bedroom which was fine. We spilled a glass of tea on one of the comforters in the back bedroom so we washed both comforters; they smelled kind of musty anyway... The main suggestion I have would be to put lighting at the bottom of the front stairs & beside the laundry room.. Overall we had a great trip.

That way, if you arrived late, the unit would be lit up for you. Every TV is a bit different, so we always want to know that they worked when you arrived.
