To begin with the owner of the property never contacted me once to see if I arrived or if I needed anything.However he did take the second half of my payment 2 days prior to arriving.Normally one completes the payment at least on the day of arrival.Its common courtesy. The apartment was nicely renovated, I will give it that.The cleanliness was nothing to brag about.The inside of the fridge was dirty.I don't care to see what other people before left behind.Lots of stains and small particles in the fridge.Crumbs left on the counter, dust ball on the floor and dead spiders in the corners of the windows under the curtains.No mattress pads or pillow covers on the pillows.Given the circumstances we are living in at the moment with covid, it would have been nice to know that the extra step was taken to properly clean the apartment.I did not feel reassured in the least bit.However I did not let this ruin my stay in Quebec.
