Weekend away

My family and I came from San Diego for the weekend for a birthday celebration. We enjoyed our stay. Everything was just as described. Clean, great communication and easy check in. We all would recommend this nice, spacious place.

3 Midwest couples enjoy a break from winter.

If you are looking for a comfortable place to relax and unwind, this is your place. the house was a great well-maintained place. We had a great time sitting on the back patio with a warm fire in the fireplace watching the sunrises and sunsets while we had our morning coffee and evening drinks. I also enjoyed watching the quail, rabbits and the coyote making his morning rounds. the location was great with all the many things to do in the cave creek area.

Great house with lots of special touches

We were so pleased with our stay. The house had everything we wanted - plenty of space for everybody and a huge kitchen table with lots of seating.. The kitchen was fully stocked - every utensil, pan pot, etc. you could want. Two comfy couches in the family room. The beds were super comfortable, three full bathrooms, a huge outdoor area. Plus a casita! The management was super responsive with any questions we had..We loved the coffee and teas and chocolates that awaited us. We will return !

Great house and location

We loved staying in this clean and comfortable house. The large property gave us privacy and peace. It has a perfect location for exploring Cave Creek and Carefree, with quick and easy access to Phoenix and Scottsdale too. The host is extremely pleasant and responsive. This was definitely in the top 3 of the 20 different houses we rented across the US and Canada over the spring and summer.

My family was surprised by how unclean this rental was - I found dirty mens underwear lying on the floor of a bedroom, there were dead bugs on the floor throughout the house, the towels had tooth paste on them, the grills had half eaten chicken bones dried to the rack
the list goes on. This place has a lot of potential! Unfortunately, it’s not maintained or turned over appropriately between guests.

This property had everything we needed! The main house was spacious! Many patio areas to choose from and the Casita was a nice get away for my adult son. Kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed Definitely would stay here again

Beautiful views and peaceful property

We had a mostly great stay at this rustic-themed house in Cave Creek! A group of friends stayed at this property from out of town and the wide open space of the property was a beautiful place to hang out and enjoy the desert views. We didn't really cook many meals there, but there seemed to be enough dishes and kitchen equipment to do so if you wished. It did seem clear that some things structurally of the house had been done in a hurry- we had severe flooding of the bathroom (which the bachelors staying at the house just dealt with, but I would have had a problem with!) The property manager responded quickly, but there were some other issues. Again, the property manager had someone deliver wood for the outdoor fireplace, but the indoor fireplace was not functional. The casita has a heater, but if you are a light sleeper it makes a noise every 10 seconds or so that makes it difficult to sleep without earplugs. If you are a group of easygoing young people and you are not planning on staying at the house the whole time it would be a great property to visit. The views are beautiful, the larger beds were very comfortable and it seemed to be well stocked.

Fantastic location and property.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the setting of this house. The outdoor kitchen was such a treat to use. To cook by a fire every night was an awsome setting and a perfect way to end the day. The property is near so many attractions that are easy to get to and enjoy. It is also just close enough to restaurants and stores yet you feel like you are in the country. We most definitely enjoyed the saguaro cactus in our courtyard! We would definitely recommend staying here.

Clean, Spacious, Beautiful Desert Property

Rented this for a weekend retreat for four writers. Such a clean, beautiful, spacious place, inside and out. Lots of comfortable areas to sit and write inside during the day (AC was perfect), walk around the enclosed outdoor desertscape for inspiration, or enjoy a quiet glass of wine in the evening on the cool patio. Kitchen well stocked, but bring your own paper towels, sponge, and garbage bags. Looking forward to booking it again next year!

Fantastic home

We are a group of 70+ siblings and spouses who stayed 5 days. The home and grounds are spacious and we very clean. We appreciated access to some condiments and coffee filters! Beds are comfortable. Extensive fenced yard plus large circular driveway. Lovely all around. Nice walking path just up the street. Easy drive to towns of cave creek and carefree. Loads of hiking nearby. We didn’t cook but the kitchen has CB new appliances and equipment.

Family and Friends Weekend

We went to AZ. to see my son play hockey, we were looking for a home that would accommodate 8 adults, this property is perfect. We spent a lot of time on the covered patio, bbq steaks on the gas grill and had more than enough room for people to gather in the kitchen and 8 to comfortably sit down at the table. This is a big property that is very private, we will definitely stay here again when we come to the Phoenix area. (and a double car garage)

If you want a true AZ experience stay here! I stayed while my home was being painted. The host was kind and responsive. The home is fabulous. I love all the bathrooms. It is a legit southwest home. The yard has a bbq and an outdoor fireplace. The casita allowed us to invite our new in-laws with their own private space. House came stocked. I am a local and I highly recommend the location. The views of black mountain are nice. I can go on and on.....

Great place

We go fishing at the Phoenix lakes alot so this worked well for our boat. Although the yard and gates are a little tight to get the boat trailer around,we made it work. This would be one of my top places to stay when we make another fishing trip.

Weekend getaway!

We love this property. We have stayed here multiple times with friends and Family. Great location, close to town but set in a nice quiet desert area. Great views. Great local attractions. Lots of Parking! We stay here when we go to Bartlett lake, so the ample parking for our trucks and boats is very nice. Great house layout, perfect for multiple families and children. Wonderful Kitchen, we always cook at least 1 night. Fabulous patio to enjoy the evening. Cave creek town is just minutes away so that is handy as well. I love this house!!!!

Great stay

The house was exactly how it was in the pictures. The space was large and accommodated my family of 7. The guest house is also a nice touch if you want to be even more spread out.

The house is pretty and very authentic Southwest. There is only one TV in the whole place. The house is close to a road the allows for very little privacy if you wanted to use the fire pit. Fanstastic and Calm-perfect desert oasis.

From the roosters crowing in the morning while we had coffee on the expansive back porch to the sunsets that reminded me of 'home' (I grew up in AZ), this property had it all. If you are new to how to enjoy AZ, this home will force your hand in understanding the beauty and calm of the desert. Don't forget to utilize the casita too! We reunited with family in the area we were unable to see for many months. This is a special place to do just that and enjoy the desert. It appears that there might be some appropriate updates going on in the home that will make it that more special. The host was very welcoming and accommodating throughout our stay. Thank you!
