This was absolutely terrible. No windows and kept finding bugs around the entire apartment. The owner tried to make excuses but eventually we moved out a lot earlier than planned and pretty much begged for a refund. We received a partial refund but paid for more days than we actually stayed there.
The photos are clearly fake or heavily photoshoped. All furnitures are beat up and all walls are scratched. The windows are barred shut and the floor was dusty. The building reeks so heavy of cockroach repellent I had to wash all my belongings after I got out. The smell is so strong my nose and eyes hurt for days after I left. Despite the smell, the place is still full of cockroaches. All its residents should get a health check for staying here. It's such a piece of disgrace. I was so stunned by the terrible state of this place that I gave up the money (over 1500AUD if you ask) and booked another hotel.
The management is just as terrible. They got in touch with you too late yet demanding documents plus refusing to be there in person to open the door. The agency won't pick up the call and they lie.
Its surroundings weren't anywhere near clean either. You find trash piled up every corner and graffiti everywhere. Every other building on the same street looks clean and tidy yet this one tower looks like it steps right out of slums. I'm a constant overseas traveller and have stayed in a number of buildings a few hundred years old across the whole world, yet the poor state of this building is just, unnatural.
All in all, it is only fair that this disgrace be removed from the website. I don't believe anyone deserves a heavy chance of cancer to witness its terrible state themselves.
My husband and I are retired and spend much of our time sailing around Asia on our catamaran. For now, weâre back in St Kilda, enjoying life floating in the harbor until our next adventure up north. Living on a boat has its perksâtraveling without the need to pack a bag is definitely one of them!
I wanted to share a little about our studios and the thought that went into creating them. We carefully designed the floorplan to maximize the space, ensuring it feels open and comfortable rather than confined. Privacy and efficiency were key priorities for us, and we worked hard to make the studios feel more like a home than a hotel room.
To make sure everything was just right, we even lived in them ourselves to experience the space firsthand. I hope you find it as enjoyable and welcoming as we intended.
Many of our guests often share how much they enjoy the cozy, home-like atmosphere of the apartmentâitâs a refreshing change from the feel of a cold hotel. Youâll have the flexibility to cook your own meals or order in, and if youâre in the mood to explore, there are plenty of wonderful restaurants nearby. You might also enjoy taking a stroll along the river or even packing a picnic to relax by the riverside.
