We had a funeral on Sat and sun we all went to either kings Island for big kids and zoo for small kids. Really enjoyed spending time with family and the place was very nice. The only things missing for us was maybe add some power strips for multiple phone charging and counter cleaner spray some sugar for coffee. A few more trash bags for such a large group and dish rags. We had to buy more tp to. I hope that help. Thank you so much. Sheron
Nice older house in an older neighborhood in St. Bernard. Plenty of places to sleep - we had 7 people with lots of room to spread out. Not sure how two bathrooms would work with a larger crowd though. Interior of the house was clean and comfortable. As another reviewer mentioned, kitchen utensils and tools are a bit limited, and there was a limited supply of TP and paper towels - fortunately there's a Kroger about a mile away. The exterior / yard needed work. The trash cans were left overflowing by the last guests, the yard badly needs mowing, there was trash in the back lawn, and someone (presumably also the previous guests) had not cleaned up after their dog. Regardless of who made the mess, we would have expected an exterior clean-up between guests. We contacted the owner, and she did send someone to take the trash out that night (pickup was the next morning). The neighborhood got a little rowdy Saturday night. Not sure what was going on, but it quieted down when it started raining. Nothing the owner can do about that of course.
This cincy home was a great place for our group to stay. It was very clean and matched the listing really well. We had 14 people staying there and there was plenty of room with the 2 living spaces, and dining room.
The one issue we had was that the middle floor was a little cold even when we turned up the heat. Otherwise everything was exactly what we expected.
If we are in this area again we'd definitely stay again.
You never know what to expect when you are renting anything in an area youâve never been. The house was older than I expected and had some charm to it because of that. The beds were comfy, the backyard and backyard games were an added treat that I didnât know about. Having things like TP, hand soap, dish soap and some essential spices was very helpful! The neighborhood was very delightful. We enjoyed many walks and even some play time with some neighbors kids.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything was as represented so we had no surprises except for the lacking utensils and burnt out lights in the backyard. There were many large plates but a shortage of small plates and cutlery. We had to run the dish washer after every meal in order to have utensils for the next meal. In addition there was no cutting board , serving bowls or baking dishes. Also no kitchen towels so we needed to buy paper towels as well as napkins. We also were lacking in towels just a few things and it would have been perfect .
The property was great better than described. Very clean , lots of space . Felincia responded to my question right away and let me get into the property a little early so after a long trip it was great .
The house was lovely. Great location! Plenty of space for the 14 members of my family.(including kids) There was a lack of cleaning supplies to maintain the house while we were there for 3 nights and 4days. Luckily there is a store near by. Also, we did encounter ants. This was mentioned to the owner, so hopefully it's handled before more guests arrive.
Loved this house! Beautiful and VERY spacious home that was the perfect spot for our girls weekend. Cute little neighborhood, a short Lyft/Uber ride from the OTR area we visited one night. Would definitely recommend this property!
Comfortable beds and good room/bed configuration for our needs while traveling with multiple families/kids. The host was quick to respond. Some of group was nervous about the location before we arrived (not city people in general and not familiar with Cincy), but it was a safe and quiet neighborhood. Exceeded our expectations.
