Girls weekend

This was a girls weekend to celebrate my daughter’s 40th birthday. This house was perfect for our needs. Big enough for us to all have our own rooms and a beautiful kitchen and living room to be together. The host was easy to get in touch with and very nice to answer all our questions. Conveniently located to what we wanted to do and see. Beautiful house! You won’t be disappointed!!!

Perfect Vacation Home

My family and I were so impressed with this house. The accommodations and location are some of the best at Chautauqua Lake. The house was big enough that my family was able to spread out and feel comfortable. The kitchen is the perfect spot for entertainment and so big that we were able to cook dinners easily. Communication with the owner was perfect. There was one problem that we had when we arrived there were no trash bags and the owner had it fixed quickly. The only feedback I would give is to have the beds made on arrival. It was an expectation of the guests to make their own bed, which typically is something we expect of any place we book on VRBO. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and we would 100% come back again!

Extended Family Holiday Trip

Very spacious and nicely remodeled home in the heart of the small village of Bemus Point. We had a great time spending time with our extended family in this house.

Beautiful home in the heart of Bemus Point, place is big and has all the amenities of home. Had to contact the host once and they replied immediately and resolved the minor issue, great folks.

Friends reunion.

This was the perfect resort for our friends reunion. We enjoyed visiting Jamestown with Lucy and Desi Museum and Comedy center. And we had a perfect fall day to visit Chautauqua Institution, Peak N peak and Findlay Lake. It was a great location for nearby restaurants and s walk around Bemus Point. The hosts thought of many niceties which made our stay so special.

Excellent location

Beautiful five bedroom with large fully stocked kitchen. House sits in the middle of main street with large front porch. There was a fall festival going on and we where able to just walk out our door and enjoy. Also very walkable to all shops and restaurants.

Terrible communication

I booked this house for Sept 6-9 2024 but couldn’t find the confirmation on Vrbo. I reached out directly to the owners about a month ago and left a voicemail asking for confirmation about the reservation. I received one phone call with no voicemail and tried calling back 10 times. Every time I received an automated message that there was no mailbox set up. I never received confirmation and we had to book another house. Right before our trip I received an automated confirmation from VRBO welcoming us to our trip but it STILL wasn’t in “my trips” on the app and there was no confirmation from the owners. I have no idea what happened but this was a complete fail.

Location,Location, Location!

This was our 2nd time staying at Resort on Main in July. We lived in Bemus Point for 23 years and now come back every year to vacation in our home town. This large house is centrally located to all the restaurants, bars, shops etc. We had everything we could possibly need during our stay. Would definitely recommend this property for any season.

Early summer reunion

Our stay was great. There were lots of activities to do both at the house as well as in walking distance. The trip exceeded our expectations due to proximity to restaurants, lake, and parks. Host had great communication and we would stay again.

Great family vacation

This was our second time staying at the Resort on Main and once again had a great time. The house is spacious, and the yard is roomy. The location can't be beat — easy walking distant to restaurants, the lake and playgrounds for kids. Short drives to the beach and Midway Amusement Park. In general, the perfect family vacation!

Family Get-Away

We had a great time during our stay and the house was perfect for our needs. Clean and beautiful with plenty of room for the seven of us. It was in an ideal location close to everything we wanted to do ~ mostly just relax and enjoy time with family. Thanks to Debra for the warm welcome and providing us with great suggestions for things to do as well.

Great Girls Getaway

Family Weekend

The property was beautiful and perfect for a family. Communication with the hosts was easy and they responded quickly. We loved the walkability of the area. Lake Life Cafe was a delight and we stopped in every morning. We’d definitely stay again!
