River Front Luxury 3 Bedroom ON Glover River UPDATED

Welcome to the beautiful Glover Bluff Cabin! It is situated right above the flowing Glover River in the quiet town of Battiest. It is only a 20-minute drive north of Hochatown, through the winding landscape of the Kiamichi Mountains.

The cabin sleeps 8 adults comfortably, with additional sleeping on top bunks and 2 more on a futon if needed, max capacity 12.

Downstairs there are two king bedrooms that share a full bath. Upstairs there are built-in, double twin-over-queen bunks, and a full-size bathroom with soaking tub and electric fireplace if you want to sneak away and relax.

Glover bluff cabin has a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to prepare delicious meals for your family and friends including a crockpot, blender, mixer, toaster, bowls, large baking pots/pans, and more.

However, outside is where you will want to spend most of your time with a covered porch and open-air balcony for incredible views of the river below and stargazing at night. There is plenty of seating to enjoy meals outside, fire pit with plenty of seating for relaxing around the campfire, a six-person hot tub, and outdoor playset for the kids. But follow the steps down to the riverbank to get to the incredibly unique table swing that seats 8!

This house was nice 1 TV. The other tv didn’t work. WiFi sucks bad. Heater doesn’t work properly downstairs but upstairs in the little loft area was hot. I travel a lot but this house did not do justice for me. The front door need a little maintenance to ensure lock works properly.

This cabin has a lot of potential. We wanted to be away from the large amounts of people in Broken Bow, so we knew this was far away, which wasn’t the problem. But there is a cabin within 50 yard of this one, with no privacy between, and they share the same driveway/parking area, which is off a fairly busy road. There are quite a few steep stairs down to the river. None of that would have been a deal breaker, but once we were inside, we found even more issues. As soon as we opened the door, the house smelled like urine. We went into the primary bedroom to find that a dog had peed all over the boxspring and sheets. Clearly they had not been changed since the previous guests, there was also a used tampon under the bed. The floors were filthy and our bare feet were immediately covered in grime within minutes of walking through the house barefoot. The hot tub had not been turned on. Although the property manager immediately sent a repair man and someone to clean, we continued to find issues. Water poured out of the shower no matter how careful we were. The hot tub, although now heating the water, would shock you when you put your hand in the water, so we had to turn it off. The control panel could be easily removed and was a safety hazard due to water intrusion. There were only salad size plates, and a handful of forks and spoons. In the play structure area, we found dozens of pieces of broken glass, casing from bullets and what looked like little glass viles.

Nice laid back cabin

It was quiet, you had the property to yourself, owner had games and activities for the whole family at any age range! The futon in the living room was a little dirty, but other than that the place was clean. It is a little farther away from broken bow, approximately 25-30 mins depending on the traffic so be warned. Thank you to Creative Escapes for the chance at having a nice relaxing vacation!

Very nice cabin

Overall very nice stay will say it’s a little too far out! Near bethel town struggled a little to find the cabin but it’s very nice and clean the beds were very comfortable

If you want to literally “get away” this cabin is for you! It’s out in the middle of nowhere. Great house. Felt like it was needing a few things. Grill utensils, and the chairs around the fire pit had broken ones. The couches need to be replaced. Very uncomfortable. But does have nice appliances and large kitchen table to play games.

terrible management

the location is misrepresented on the site. the address if the property management's address. its 40 mins from where I thought we were going to be. the directions were terrible. no address given. the cabin was filthy. my children had grocery store feet. bugs inside galore. terrible management.

Nice cabin but very far away

The cabin and property of beautiful but the map on the Vrbo listing shows Hochatown, this cabin is in Battiest 30 minutes away! Made traveling to and from Hochatown and town festivities including restaurants a chore. We were supposed to have the in cabin massages and they cancelled on us the morning of because of how far away we were :( the WiFi password in the email did not work for anyone and there was no service to get ahold of the property manager. If you are wanting a relaxing retreat this is your cabin but if you are wanting to do anything in town, prepare to drive an hour each time. Other than the driving, this cabin is very clean and the back deck over looking the river is amazing!

We really enjoy our time at the cabin. Everything was clean, stocked and very nice. Beds were very comfortable! Only negative would be the distance from activities.

It was nice to be away from the summer season Broken Bow crowds at the cabin on the Glover River, about 30mins from the park.

Not satisfied

Wifi bill was not paid had no service the whole time, cabin far from everything, found multiple dead bugs in the cabin including in the dishes and under the covers, blankets were still wet when we arrived and hot tub took 8 hours to heat up. The cabin could’ve been a bit more cleaner.

Glover Bluff Spring Trip

Beautiful updated clean cabin. Streamlined check-in process. Nice stocked kitchen. Few suggestions would be railing on top bunks, better pathways to river for children and older adults, trashcan in bedrooms. Other than that it was an enjoyable, scenic stay!!

Far away

The cabin itself is beautiful. It was very clean and fully stocked.The property is very far drive from town. You will have no service either about 30 min before even arriving. Which I was okay with however you cannot even call out if you need to communicate with someone. There are 2 stray dogs on property who make it hard to enjoy your time outside.
