Imaginez être à 4 niveaux, niché dans la canopée spectaculaire et immaculée du Costa Rica. Bienvenue à Jungle Roost!

Profitez de votre café du matin sur le pont enveloppant en regardant les singes en quête de nourriture et en traversant la cime des arbres.

Cette maison de 2500 pi2 a 3 chambres à coucher et 3 salles de bain et est entièrement et confortablement meublée. Il a des fenêtres du sol au plafond avec des vues dégagées conçues pour amener l'extérieur dans l'intérieur ouvert et accueillant. La conception architecturale de cette maison unique comprend de nombreuses portes coulissantes en verre qui s'ouvrent pour laisser passer la brise dans la maison. Il y a des ventilateurs de plafond et AC dans toute la maison.

Le rez-de-chaussée dispose d'un grand parking, d'une buanderie équipée d'une laveuse et sécheuse. Le niveau principal comprend une grande chambre spacieuse, une cuisine entièrement équipée avec bar / îlot, une terrasse entourant le salon et une salle de bains. Le gazebo en plein air est un petit coin de paradis.

Montez d'un étage jusqu'à la vaste chambre principale avec lit queen size, portes coulissantes sur le pont enveloppant et fenêtres massives pour une vue imprenable sur la faune de la canopée. Ce niveau dispose également d'une salle de bain complète.

Montez un autre niveau jusqu'au quatrième étage où il y a deux chambres joliment décorées avec des lits queen size et une salle de bain complète. Les deux chambres ont des portes coulissantes en verre du sol au plafond sur deux murs donnant accès à la terrasse enveloppante où se trouve un grand chesterfield extérieur pour une lecture tranquille ou des siestes. Ne soyez pas surpris si un singe (ou 10!) passe furtivement. Restez immobile et ils s'amplifieront simplement en regardant sauter du balcon à l'arbre le plus proche. Vous serez tenté de les nourrir, mais veuillez vous abstenir - il y a beaucoup de nourriture saine dans la jungle.

La plage voisine est magnifique et calme. Si vous êtes d'humeur pour plus de gens, des bars funky, de bons restaurants, des écoles de surf, des courses de parachute ascensionnel et des achats amusants, promenez-vous juste 15 ou 20 minutes le long du sable blanc jusqu'à Manuel Antonio.

The perfect vacation to decompress

I don't write a lot of reviews, but this house and experience deserve a standng ovation though. The house is better than the photos. The location is perfect for a beautiful beach, jungle vacation. The access to restaurants, groceries, pharmacies, yoga studio was perfect. The house was well stocked with kitchen supplies. Beds were very comfortable and large. The house and pool area was very private and an amazing vantage point for wildlife. We sat in the pool and watched a sloth in a tree and monkey's swing in the trees and the yard. You do have to be able to go up stairs and walk uphill to get to the beaches and the businesses, but that was a good counterbalance to the food and drink we consumed. Ismael was a wonderful host. All his recommendations were spot on. We ended up hanging at the house and walking to the close beach for most of the vacation. We had planned on driving to different locations, but it was so beautiful and peaceful there, we just stayed. The park was great, but we saw more wildlife from our back yard. We will be back and have great memories. To relax, decompress and rejuvenate, it's perfect.

Incredible vacation home and host

The house and property are paradise. Relaxing in the beautiful pool while troops of howlers, capuchins, and squirrel monkeys pass by is the ultimate immersion into the beauty that is CR. We also spotted sloths (one with a baby!), agoutis, an anteater, iguanas, cane toads, Motmots and other beautiful birds right from Jungle Roost. We had so much time to really observe the animals in their natural habitat over several days. We heard Scarlett macaws and yellow throated toucans from the property and had a chance to see them up close at the top of the hill (near the red door entrance up top).Ismael is the epitome of a gracious host. He was so welcoming and gave us some wonderful restaurant and activity recommendations. He was always quickly responsive to any questions we had. Jungle Roost is conveniently located within walking distance of great restaurants, coffee shops, and souvenir shops.The beach (Playa Espadilla) was about a 10 minute walk down the hill (1/2 mile). The waves were perfect for our 13 year old and 11 year old twins. Fun bodysurfing location and a simply gorgeous view. We rented a car (4x4 is the way to go in this area) and were close enough to many attractions that were within 1/2-1 hour drive (Nauyaca Falls, Uvita, Rainmaker, Manuel Antonio Park, Kids Saving the Rainforest)We had such a lovely week all around.Overall, Jungle Roost was the perfect place for a family getaway. Amazing setting, great location, and a warm, attentive host. Can't wait to return!

Beautiful home in remote setting. Kids loved the pool. Everything was well maintained, inside and out. A bit of a long walk to beach, especially for young children., although the scenery was relaxing. Very good place to end our stay in Costa Rica

Great Spot in MA

This is a gorgeous and well-maintained home with much thought put into the architecture and design. We saw monkeys, sloths, agoutis, coatis, and iguanas daily on the property. The kids had a blast in the pool and we loved the secluded beach nearby. Though 5 min from the hotspots of MA, this house is on a steep and secluded jungle road. A 4x4 definitely recommended, if not required. Ismael is a kind, responsive, and accommodating host and deserves every 5-start rating here.

Once again, Jungle Roost was the perfect spot for our family. Surrounded by monkeys, sloths, toucans, iguanas, and so much more! The house is beautiful and the location is perfect. Ismael is a wonderful host and was very helpful in arranging activities and answering questions.

We had an incredible stay at Jungle Roost!!! The property was beautiful and well maintained with every comfort - AC, laundry, and a gorgeous pool. Awesome house, awesome vacation

Everything about this trip was amazing! The main reason was because of the fabulous house and host. Ismael went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed. He answered all of our questions, helped arrange excursions (and rearrange them when we wanted to do something different). He greeted us at the house upon arrival to show us around. Beyond that, he was consistently available by phone to answer any questions we had and to give recommendations for activities/dinners/etc. The house was beautiful! The outdoor area amazing and very roomy. We enjoyed swimming in the pool each afternoon and exploring the garden area. We also saw three types of monkeys from our patio (including daily visits from adorable squirrel monkeys). We also saw agoutis and a variety of birds each day. The house felt very secluded and private, but it was actually very close to town. Walkable to the beach and many area restaurants. The house included all the accommodations we could need. The beds were comfortable and the showers had good pressure. We are already planning our next trip back!

Jungle Roost Surpassed Our Expectations

This is a quiet location away from the noises of cars and traffic. The home is very comfortable and had easy access to everything we needed. The yard is absolutely awesome with birds, monkeys and beautiful flowers and trees. The pool and water fall were very attractive and enjoyable; providing a fun way to relax after the days activities. Our expectations were more than surpassed.

Perfect Family Vacation Home

We are so thankful for Ismael and Francesca allowing us to stay in their beautiful home! They were incredible hosts and gave us so many wonderful recommendations. We had the most amazing family vacation! Our favorite part about the house was all the wildlife we saw right in the backyard. The monkeys and agoutis visited us everyday. We were close to food, the beach and the national park.The house itself was clean and beautifully designed. It had everything we needed. It was perfect for our family!

Best Host / Great House

If you are looking for a rental in Manuel Antonio, this is THE place! Stop scrolling, this is it. The house is in great condition and the grounds are stunning. We saw all the wildlife we came to see in Costa Rica sitting in the backyard.. monkeys, toucans, and even capybara-looking animals. The host, Ismael, was absolutely incredible. We had a couple snags in our travel plans getting down there (airplane delays) and Ismael handled re-arranging our car rental and other things we had planned. I have never had better service at a VRBO. I would absolutely stay here again! And get a 4x4, all wheel drive rental-you’ll need it in this area.

Magical time in Manuel Antonio

My husband and I and our 2 teenage kids stayed at Jungle Roost for 4 fabulous nights and would have loved to stay longer! This trip was a special one because it was our last family vacation before taking our daughter to college. Ismael and his staff could not have made our time here any more comfortable. What a warm welcome! Ismael reached out before our arrival and gave thorough information about recommended restaurants and activities in the area. He served as our personal concierge and we are incredibly grateful. We ate at Le Papillon one evening and returned for brunch a couple days later. The view is breathtaking and the service and food fantastic. Upon Ismael's suggestion we also had dinner at Emilio's (another awesome view where we saw giant macaws), Agua Azul, and Ronny's Place and enjoyed each very much! Ismael organized a zip line tour one day and a fantastic rainforest & waterfall expedition another. If you're up for some adventure, do both!! (breathtaking scenery and high adrenaline). At the end of each excursion, we were so happy to return to Jungle Roost, which is its own piece of paradise. You're surrounded by beauty and feel like you're at your own luxury resort. We saw more wildlife here than at Manuel Antonio park. The pool and cabana are lovely and the home itself is comfortable and has everything you need to relax...gorgeous decor and well appointed! Don't miss spending time at the Playa Playitas too. We loved it all! Thank you, Ismael!!

Family Get away in Manuel Antonio

We really loved the house and the pool. We swam in the pool during the sunny times and rainy times. It's always nice and warm. We saw howler and squirrel monkeys, lots of birds, and lizards from the home. The home is very private and unless you are on a balcony on one side of home, it's completely hidden from neighbors and the road. Ismael was very helpful in providing us guidance to find the home and had lots of recommendations for restaurants. The house is nice and cool inside and looks much nicer in pictures than in photos. It has nice separation between bedrooms and each floor has a bathroom. We loved the outdoor and indoor kitchen, were very thankful to have washer and dryer, and appreciated how close the house was to little grocery stores. The home is just a few minutes drive to the beach and easy to find parking there . After our stay, I reached out to Ismael b/c our daughter had an ear infection. He helped us with finding the right medical facility to get treatment for her. That was much appreciated. If you travel to Costa Rica and rent a car, you need 4 wheel drive, so I recommend that! Manuel Antonio is one of the nicer and more developed places we traveled in Costa Rica, but you still see lots of wild life.

The house and the location are exceptional. What made our stay particularly noteworthy was just how wonderful the host was. I’ve never felt so well supported and well informed at any rental property. Ismael went above and beyond expectations when he assisted with a challenging rental car situation and he was always available for his opinion about outings. He helped us book numerous excursions. My family is quite grateful to all the help he provided, and if our travels ever bring us back to Manuel Antonio. We will be sure to stay here again.

This property was nestled in the jungle. The decor, cleanliness and overall feel was that of being at home in a paradise. The hosts organized many outings and a personal chef for us and made sure our every want was taken care of by the best. The hosts and the Villa were beyond anything we could have imagined. If you want to get spoiled, I highly recommend you stay here.

When it asked me to rate the accuracy of the online listing, I wanted to put less stars. Why? It’s not accurate! It surpasses how the listing describes it, if you can imagine that?! This place was even more beautiful than we were anticipating. We would have stayed much longer if it were available. The house was immaculate and had everything we needed. The ANIMALS!!! On my goodness we were beyond pleased! That is the whole reason we picked this place and we were not disappointed ! We saw two types of monkeys, sloths, macaws, blue morph butterflies and much more! We didn’t even need to leave the house to see these! We came for the animals, but above all things our most favorite was meeting Ismael. He is definitely a super host and the most genuine person. Jungle Roost is a magical place! If you want to see wildlife, it is right outside your door. Manuel Antonio and the beach are within walking distance if you are reasonably fit. Perfect location for jungle immersion in Manuel Antonio

Jungle roost and it’s host, Ismael, exceeded our expectations for our vacation of 4 adults. The property and home are even better in person than in the photos, nestled in the jungle with your own personal “monkey show” from the pool deck, while being close to everything in town and the surrounding area. The home is lovely with many nice touches, all bathrooms and kitchen were supplied with everything you need. The bedrooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. The views from the rooms are amazing! The outside area with pool, fountain, bbq and lush landscaping were an oasis that we came home to every evening since it was too beautiful not to enjoy. Even though several amazing beaches are nearby, we always wanted to save time to come home and enjoy relaxing in the pool. I wondered if eating outside would be too hot, but the fan over the dining table is powerful and it was always a pleasant experience. All that being said, the best part about this home is having Ismael as your host/concierge! He provided the best service of any host we’ve booked with. It was like having a local friend to guide you to what to do based on your personal preferences, then book them all for you and check to make sure all was going well. He made the vacation what it was- thoroughly enjoyable, fun, relaxing and a true getaway experience! We will definitely come back to Jungle Roost next time! Also suggest Rainmaker preserve and beaches at MA Park after a guided tour. Thank you Ismael!

Absolutely amazing!

Our stay at the Jungle Roost was beyond spectacular! The house is fabulous with an outdoor area that not only provided space for swimming and reclining, but for outdoor dining and most importantly for watching all the creatures who came to visit. We came to Costa Rica hoping to see all types of animals and boy, did we. From the anteater we saw on the first morning to the monkeys and agouti happily munching on leaves, we were entertained every day by more than one animal. As for the host, Ismael, he was also beyond spectacular. He arranged everything from transportation to private chefs to excursions including a day at a beach resort. His knowledge and helpfulness were beyond compare and he made our stay the wonderful experience it was. Ismael is extremely knowledgable about everything there is to do and was always available to answer all our questions. He basically made our stay at Jungle Roost a dream. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and will always have the best memories of our trip to Costa Rica thanks to Ismael and his Jungle Roost.

Best Vacation Ever

Don’t hesitate - book the Jungle Roost!! Not only is the house amazing - very clean, has all the amenities you need, in a perfect location - but you cannot find better hosts than Ismael and Francesco. Ismael reached out ahead of our trip and offered his concierge services. He booked all our excursions with his trusted contacts saving me a ton of time and work trying to find the best activities for our family. The house was perfect for our family - my husband and me, my mother in law, 3 teen boys and our 6 year old. We felt safe the entire time and had so much fun from time spent at the house in the pool and out doing ziplining, waterfall tours, offshore fishing and more. We saw dozens of monkeys every evening at dusk and saw sloths and all types of birds. I don’t do well with insects and was worried since we were staying in the jungle, but trying my best to overcome my fears since the kids were so excited to do Costa Rica. We had zero issues - no bugs or spiders (or snakes). We felt safe the entire time both at the house and on our excursions. Ismael gave us so many suggestions on restaurants, private chefs, and grocery shopping and none disappointed. We ate so well, which is important because my teen boys and husband are big eaters. The pics do not do it justice - it is so much more beautiful in person. I highly recommend both Costa Rica and the Jungle Roost. We will be back and have already started planning our next visit to the Jungle Roost. Thank you so much, Ismael!!

Jungle Roost

My husband and I have recently returned from an unforgettable week at 5* Jungle Roost. The host, Ismael, met us when we arrived, showing us everything we might need to know to fully enjoy the beautiful house and all of the amenities. Incredible home, as their website displays. Monkeys delighted us daily with a show several times a day. Pool was great! We were provided with a list of the best restaurants, activities in the area. The hosts live 5 minutes from the Roost and are thoroughly familiar with the area. This is a "can't miss" opportunity! We'll be back!

Le paradis

Nous avons adoré nos vacances. Ismael est un hote formidable. La maison est magnifique,confortable et tres bien équipée. Les plages aux alentours sont tres belles et accessibles à pied pour des gens en bonne condition physique. Nous avons eu la visite des singes tous les jours. Un seul mini bémol est qu'il peut y avoir du bruit puisqu'il y a d'autres maisons à proximité mais l'intimité dans la cour est parfaite . Merci Ismael pour toutes les petites attentions et merci de nous avoir permis de nous sentir au paradis pour deux semaines.
