We really enjoyed our stay. The house is located a quick walk from neighborhood restaurants and bars and a quick walk to the overloook where you can see the whole city. Definitely recommend!
Ryan was wonderful and his home was clean, comfortable, and perfect for the four of us and our two dogs. We are in town for the Pittsburgh Marathon and it was the perfect spot for pre and post race activities.Thank you for everything! We will be back.
The house was clean and comfortable for us and our two dogs. It was nice to have off street parking and a short Uber ride to downtown. Ryan was very accommodating and quick to respond. I would definitely stay there again!
We had a wonderful weekend. The house was clean and nicely decorated. The shower was roomy with excellent water pressure. Many quality eateries were within walking distance.
This was the perfect place for our weekend visit to Pittsburgh! Everything the property owner said about their house was absolutely accurate. I would recommend this property, its owner, and the value to my family, friends, and strangers looking for the ideal place to stay in Pittsburgh. We would 100% stay here again.
Home was just as advertised and worked for all our needs.
Very convenient location to uber into the city. Host was extremely helpful with an access request that we really appreciated.
My husband and I traveled to Pittsburgh for the weekend. The property is perfect just across the Liberty bridge, itâs super close to downtown while being on the quieter side. The parking space behind the property is super clutch. We loved the short walk to Grandview overlook.
The house was clean and had everything we needed. The neighborhood is great, where we enjoyed sightseeing along the overview of the city as well as the great little restaurants and bars in Shiloh. The hills are a great workout for a morning run. Easy walk to the incline to drop down to go downtown.
Overall the property was as advertised. My major concern revolved around the presence of cameras in the living room and kitchen. I was told they were inactive during occupancy but they were intermittently turned on during our stay as indicated by their led light. I found that terribly intrusive. It appears that this is a newer owner, when the code for the door was transmitted we were given 4 digits, unfortunately the lock required 5 digits. After several attempts the correct code was given and we were admitted to the property.
I enjoy travelling and I have been to 57 countries so far. I always treat the place I am staying as I would my own home and I ask that you do the same. I have had season tickets for the Penguins for 22 years and the Steelers for 6. Both pairs are on the aisle and may be available if you are interested. I also drive Uber and Lyft on the weekends and may be available to give you a discounted ride to some of the hard to reach spots around town such as Falling Water which I highly recommend.
I first moved to Mount Washington in 2009 because I loved the views nearby. I soon learned that it is it's own little suburb within the city. It is such a great location! It has everything you might need including bars, restaurants, a bank, grocery store, gym and laundry mat all within walking distance. Bigham Tavern and Nikos Cafe are my 2 favorites.
Parking can be quite scarce throughout the city, but I have my own 2 spots conveniently behind the house. It is also just off of the street with just 1 step to get inside. I try to provide things that I myself look for when I am travelling.
