The apartment was charming and the host was great with communication. The apartment was very clean and amhad all the necessities. Would highly recommend to others.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, appreciating the excellent attention to detail. Larry greeted us warmly upon our very late arrival due to a flight delay. We were very grateful to find the air conditioning running in our room when we arrived at 1 a.m., especially after a hot day. We also appreciated the breakfast items Larry had thoughtfully stocked in our room, including fresh eggs and gourmet sourdough bread. We particularly enjoyed watching the sunsets from the porch. The neighborhood was very quiet, which we found quite relaxing. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen was well-stocked, and there were many platforms available for streaming.
The building is older, but Larry was very kind and welcoming and unit had everything we needed for a quick overnight stay. Everything in the unit was clean and tidy. Quiet neighborhood with not much around but apartments and houses. Only thing to note is arrival is expected between 3 and 10pm - might be a consideration for other renters who are used to checking in on their own at whatever hours.
Everything we needed was available, including partially stocked refrigerator (eggs, milk, sourdough bread, apples, water bottles--maybe a few other things I'm not remembering). There was a very helpful and friendly co-host on the premises, who met us at check-in and made himself available for anything we might need. There are a total of 8 units in the building, which is not far from the highway. The area seems very safe, although there was a lot of highway noise outdoors (only relevant when taking a walk). There is a shopping center with good food options a short drive away.
Great place to stay very close to all things in Salt Lake City.
This was a nice place to stay for a few days, in a quieter location very near Salt Lake City. Larry communicated quickly by text, met us upon arrival and had lots of information about the area. He was very personable and available if needed, while allowing us privacy during our stay. The quaint historic place had such character with more than everything we could have possibly needed. There were a several food items, snacks and kitchen staples offered to us, making it so convenient after arriving late in the evening. There was plenty of room, a comfortable bed and a nice porch balcony. Would definitely recommend this place and stay again. Thanks
We only had one night in Salt Lake City, and this was a good location for it. We were close enough to take a short drive into downtown to walk around and check out the sites, and our drive to the airport the next morning was easy. The apartment is small, but it was fine for our one-night stay. And actually, the bathroom was pretty spacious considering the remainder of the apartment. We appreciated Larry's meeting us when we arrived and giving us some tips about the area. He also was kind enough to help us out when we needed a bit of duct tape on short notice. There was also quite a bit of stuff in the cupboards, so we were able to just eat a quick oatmeal at the apartment before our flight, which we really appreciated. Thanks for the stay!
Second stay and once again spot on. Larry is a wonderful host with all the sweet touches. Sourdough bread, coffee and filters, fresh fruit, filtered water, and live plants. The units are equipped with everything you need and incredibly clean and quiet.
The building is a bit older, but has been maintained and renovated nicely. The on-site property manager (Larry) was very kind and accommodating. We greeted us when we arrived at 10pm and showed us how to access the room. He had left some food for us, which we really appreciated. The kitchen was reasonably well-stocked. There is a large, smart TV that faces the bed. We only stayed a couple days, but if you were looking for an inexpensive longer-term stay, there was lots of storage space that would help keep your life organized while there. The tub was a little awkward with a 360-degree wraparound curtain liner. It was fine once I got used to it, but I can imagine a larger person might battle with it clinging to them. The water pressure and temperature could be inconsistent when other people were also showering in the building, so I found it worked best to do that at odd times. On the whole, I thought it was a bargain. Cute and cozy!
Staying in this location was fantastic. The room was very clean, updated, and comfortable for both short and long term stays. The attentiveness of the landlord was very welcome and I always felt like I could take questions with the room to him. Overall, it was a great experience staying at this sight, and I would recommend it for future tenants.
