This is a well located gem. Property was clean and has a well stocked kitchen. Neighborhood has a little bit of everything and all within walking distance. Street parking was super easy too.
We were 6 people in for graduation weekend. The location was close to nice walks. We didnât have a car in our party. A bus to Back Bay was one block away. Otherwise we used Uber. The apartment had lots of space. We were very happy with it.
We were very happy with our stay at Lita's apartment. The only challenge was getting our heavy bags up and down the stairs, but that's because we packed too much for the trip. The apartment is clean, cozy and generously equipped with linens, blankets, and kitchen gear. The location was perfect for our Thanksgiving with nearby family.
This home was very comfortable to stay in. Large size rooms; very very clean; very accommodating and great location! The owner is so helpful and great to deal with! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
We enjoyed our stay here. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Parking was on the street, but it was free and easy to find spots nearby. My kids were delighted when they discovered a bin of toys in the sunroom!
We really enjoyed our stay. House was very clean and owner very easy to contact. We had questions due to our late arrival and she responded quickly. Would definitely use again. Close to transportation and grocery.
We had a lovely long weekend stay at this VRBO with lots of character and charm. We were a group of 7, and the beds and space all worked well for us. The rooms were comfortable and we used the stair glide to bring up our suitcases, otherwise it would have been a challenge to bring them up to the second floor. The backyard was sweet to gather. We could have had a few more dishes and cutlery in the kitchen, we did meals both in and out. The park and lake nearby was great for walks, and the transportation to town worked well, thanks for a great stay.
My family and my cousins family stayed here for a few days while visiting Boston. The apartment was roomy enough for all 8 of us. Location is perfect, 12 minute walk to the T, easy to find for Uber and there are several stores and restaurants within walking distance. We really enjoyed the Jamaica Plains area. Only consideration is that it is an upstairs apartment so your noise levels need to really monitored in the evening. Thank you for letting us stay during our visit.
Overall it worked well for our large family. After some initial confusion and a bumpy check in it worked for us. Neighborhood is ok. The house was very clean and the AC worked well.
Mrs. Booth was very helpful and did everything she could to make us feel at home.
The area the apartment is in was so different from our own there were young families with children everywhere. The neighborhood has whites, blacks, and Hispanics. Everyone we meet were polite and if we had a question about a place to eat or place to park toke time to answer our questions. There are numerous places to eat near apartment from Topas to Scottish to neighborhood dinner. WE loved the liveliness. It was fun!
4 bedrooms and 2 baths made for a great experience. 4 men came in for some Red Sox
Games. . House was clean, well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Towels, flatware, coffee makers, toaster. TV, Altho we didnât watch any, charming old decorative accents. Very comfortable location. Easy access to the Stony Brook T line station, Orange line and easy connections to get to the back bay, Fenway l, little Italy and Chinatown. Also UBERâs were available for every trip. Altho about $50 each way, where the T line was $2.40. Something to think about. Lita was the perfect host. Always answered our questions and was responsive to requests.

Parking was a serious challenge. The listing claims there is off street parking. When we arrived there were no spaces to park. Was very disappointed with the challenges associated with parking.
The pictures in the posting made the rooms appear much bigger than the actual size. Having the capacity for eight people was a stretch given the size of the small rooms.
Not having a dishwasher was a bit of an inconvenience and oven was very old. The shower in the master was very small.
The house had a musty oder which made me think there could have been a mold issue or maybe due to the age of the home.
Spacious, cozy and convenient, with a lovely host.
Lita was lovely. The apartment was clean and it's a cozy place for a group because it has a nice big living room with plenty of seating. The apartment feels like it was the home of an older woman for a long time and has lots of loving little touches in it.
We were five female family members so we were glad for all the rooms and the twin beds, the two bathrooms, and a kitchen table that easily seats 5.
If I could give it 4.5 / 5 stars, I would because the beds are on the older side and not the most comfortable, but they are serviceable.
If someone does need to use the fourth bedroom on the street side, you may want to bring earplugs. The bus stop right in front of the house is very handy for going to museums but it is also loud at night.
Off street parking was quite easy as well.
All in all, this house was good to us and we would happily stay here again. Thank you, Lita!
