This was an excellent property. The location was within walking distance of many cute eateries and shops. The house was well stocked with games, cups, and plates for kids. I cannot express just how CLEAN this place was. We would definitely recommend for a small family!
Perfect place to stay for our 3 day stay. Only issue we had was parking. Wouldn't call it an issue, more of an inconvenience for loading and unloading the car from across the stree, but that will happen when staying in the mountains. The house had everything we needed in the kitchen. Overall a grwat stay.
This house is so super cute! It reminded us of everyoneâs grandparents house with the old, well made doors and floors. We only stayed a few nights but were comfy the entire stay!
Thank you so much for a clean and comfortable place to land for our short trip in. We appreciate the place being fully stocked. We plan to be back soon!
Lovely house in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance to cute shops
We have spent the last two Thanksgivings here and absolutely love it. The house is cute and clean and well stocked. The neighborhood is quiet and an easy walk to shops and parks and food. We would definitely stay there again if itâs available!
This is the third year to stay at the S. Charleston house. Itâs perfect for our family to meet and celebrate Thanksgiving. Angela and Derrick have the place clean and well stocked. The location is great for a walk to Bridge Road shopping area and the carriage trail. The host are available to answer any questions that I have. I will book this spot again.
This was an unexpectedly charming and clean place. As soon as you walked in, it smelled nice, and gave a very good impression. It was better than I expected from the pictures. The neighbors were also very nice, and I felt safe in this area. It had everything we needed and the street parking worked out fine. I would highly recommend this place! Thank you for a nice stay!
Wonderful classic (I think 1930's?) house; three bedroom one bath, all on second floor. Basement with activities (table tennis, etc), nice back yard. The only problems: can't open fridge/freezer door all the way, so can't remove ice bucket or freezer shelf and only one bathroom in the house.
Iâve rented 4 houses in Charleston in the last four years, this is my favorite so far! Not only is the South Hills area of Charleston desirable, itâs quaint and safe. The house is decorated beautifully. I love the fabrics the homeowner used in decorating and the pillows and bedding is high quality.
My teenagers loved the basement setup with ping pong, fuse ball and corn Home.
I highly recommend walking the Carriage Trail nearby for some exercise.
We loved this place!
My husband loved many parts of the place. Old and has some cute charm to it. Lots of stairs! From the hike up to the house, to the upstairs where the only bathroom is, to the basement games. My knees were about spent by the end of our trip, but my kids loved sliding down the stairs đ Only wish there was a bathroom on the main level! Otherwise perfect for our long weekend trip.
Nicely updated and furnished home with well stocked kitchen. Host very easy to work with and responds quickly to messages. Parking is somewhat inconvenient as you park on the street. Our only issue with the house was the very slow bathtub drain which leaves you standing in 3-4 inches of water while showering. Otherwise home is as described and we would recommend and stay again.
We came into town to visit family and this was a great spot to stay. Itâs really close to several good restaurants and shops with a nice quiet neighborhood.
Angela and I are transplants from the San Francisco Bay area to the wild and wonderful hills of West Virginia. We love our three beautiful children and spending time in the great outdoors. Our goal is to wow you with a wonderful stay in this beautiful and under appreciated state.
