Amazing getaway! Loved watching the kids play outdoors and unplug. The hot tub, fireplace, and games were huge hits, and the host was super welcoming and helpful. Highly recommend!

The Cabin was absolutely lovely. The owner took the time to let us know about areas to check out. Beds were comfortable and the cabin had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. I would absolutely stay here again. Thank you for making our stay enjoyable.

Great family cabin

This is a wonderful family cabin with a relatively short drive into Boone and surrounding areas.

Amazing Experience! The host was always there to help in any way she could and went above and beyond expectations. The cabin was beautiful, firewood fully stocked, hot tube worked well, and everything was very clean. Will definitely be back next year!

Cozy Cabin

My family and I spent the week at Dancing Bear cabin. It was very cozy and just what we were looking for. Very close driving distance to Boone, Blowing Rock & West Jefferson. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back!

Private Getaway

If you’re looking to have a secluded getaway that’s still close enough to Boone and plenty of hikes then this is the place. The house was very clean and cozy and the hot tub was the cherry on top!

Peaceful and relaxing

This cabin was wonderful! We were given lots of information about the area before we arrived. Everything was clean (including the hot tub), the beds were comfy, and the location was peaceful and perfect. We also really appreciated the paved "driveway" and paved parking - it made everything so easy. I would definitely stay here again.

Exceptional cabin!

Our family was thrilled with our stay at Dancing Bear cabin! Immaculately clean, high quality bedding and furnishings made for a very comfortable stay- and I am super particular! Proactive communication by the owner was great as well. We can’t wait to go back!

Perfect Fall Getaway

We had a wonderful long weekend at the Dancing Bear cabin in Deep Gap! The hosts were very responsive and accommodating. We loved the cabin and secluded location. The hot tub and Ms. Pac-Man table were the biggest hits. We will be back!

Ramsey Anniversary Trip

Overall impression was amazing! The right getaway to celebrate each other after 9 years together! This cabin had everything you could ever want for that special getaway! From the beautiful Mountain View to the gentle relaxation of the hot tub on the back porch! This is a must place to book! Would definitely go again!

Weekend with grandkids

The dancing bear cabin was great ! Very comfortable for 5 of us plus our dog! The kids loved the hot tub,and we enjoyed the front porch swing . the area lots to do and all very close. Lots of good restaurants and attractions. Would love to go back again!

Great Location

Great location! Close to all the activities we wanted to do. The cabin was just the right size for what we were looking for. Just the right amount of privacy. Driveway was a little tough in a full size pickup truck.

Cabin in the woods

The property was very well maintained. The owners even decorated for Christmas; it was adorable! We found a little deer trail to take the pups on each morning, used the hot tub each day and went exploring into the little towns and attractions in the area. I would recommend this for short getaways!!

Great family vacation!

We had a wonderful, quiet, relaxing time at this mountain cabin getaway. It was clean and comfortable for our family of six, and the property matched the photos and description. (No surprises.) The host was attentive and easy to work with. We will definitely consider staying here again.
