À propos de cet hébergement

Venez, profitez de notre cabine confortable sur Doc et Tom Lake. Nous avons des vues fantastiques, aimons regarder les Eagles planer au-dessus de nos têtes, écouter les huards appeler et les regarder avec les nombreux types de canards. Passez la journée à pêcher et à profiter de la tranquillité de notre baie ou profitez de toutes les activités sportives du lac. Le lac offre une excellente pêche au brochet, à l'achigan, au crappie et à divers poêlons.

Nous avons ajouté une belle plage en juin 2018, c'est un endroit idéal pour les enfants pour jouer, nager ou simplement sortir.

Nous sommes à seulement 2,5 heures de la région de Novi / Northville, 1/2 heure de Cadillac et 1,5 heures de Traverse City, également à seulement 1/2 heure au nord du mont. Agréable / Soaring Eagle Casino. De fin septembre à fin octobre, vous pourrez profiter des spectaculaires couleurs automnales. Jouez au golf sur les nombreux terrains de golf de la région, bateau, kayak, ski nautique sur le fabuleux lac. Faites de la randonnée, du vélo, de la motoneige ou hors route sur les vastes sentiers de VTT de la région. Il y a plusieurs chalets de ski dans la région où vous pourrez faire du ski ou du snowboard pour la journée avant de revenir pour profiter de la cabine confortable.

La cabine dispose de 2 chambres, une avec un lit queen et l'autre a deux lits queen, une salle de bain complète, une mezzanine avec un futon queen confortable, assez de place pour dormir confortablement 6 à 8 adultes. Il y a une cuisine complète avec casseroles / poêles, ustensiles et vaisselle. Le linge de lit et les serviettes sont inclus.

Venez pour un long week-end ou restez un moment. Passez du temps de qualité avec votre famille ou profitez de toute la beauté que le Michigan a à offrir en faisant une promenade tranquille dans les bois ou une promenade en bateau serein autour du lac et de nombreux canaux. Nous avons hâte que vous veniez profiter de notre cabine confortable!

Great house on Doc & Tom

This house was great for us right on the lake with a beach and a pontoon. The owners are very nice and helpful. The deck is a good sitting area with plenty of space. Beds are comfortable. I would recommend for a peaceful stay with fantastic views.

Great spot!

We enjoyed our stay! We loved having a boat! Our kids caught tons of fish, enjoyed exploring all the little islands on the lake (one has a rope swing into the water!) and had great quality time together. There’s a little town about 10 min away to get the basics if you need anything. Owners were so friendly! Highly recommend for a quiet getaway.

Cozy and Quiet

Beautiful cottage in a very quiet part of the lake. Enjoyed morning coffee on the deck with a beautiful view of the lake. The cottage was very clean with everything that you would need for your stay. The owners live next door and were available for any questions. We brought our own boat and the dock worked out great. Highly recommend!

Perfect weekend getaway!

We rented this beautiful lake house for the weekend while in town for a friends wedding near by. Everything was perfect for our stay. It was even better than the pictures, beautiful views, comfortable beds, and amazing sunsets! We will definitely stay again when visiting our friends in Michigan!

Amazing Weekend

The property was great! Kids had so much fun, and so did the adults. We relaxed by the private beach, played with the provided kayaks, paddle board, and paddle boat and had a bunch of fun on the pontoon boat as well! Owners were attentive and responded right away! The lake was quiet and everyone around was so nice. I didn’t hear an “Mom, I’m bored,” the entire weekend!

Perfect getaway!

We had a wonderful trip and the kids are already asking when we can go back! Property was very clean and as described. The pontoon boat was so much fun to use and we were able to catch a ton of fish! Mark and Leise were great hosts and we can't wait to come back!

Great property that comes with a pontoon boat, my kids and I had an amazing week of fishing, swimming, and relaxing. The owners were next door during the weekend and were very helpful with questions about the property and the area, not intrusive at all. We had a great week here and hope to go back soon! We all had a great time at this lake house. The hosts were easy to get ahold of and they were great at answering all of my questions! The house could use air conditioning but if you leave the windows open it was fine.

Relaxing getaway

Relaxing getaway & peacefulness location. Ample room for two couples or a small family. Easy to access with accurate directions to and on property. Owners are right next door & super friendly. Their two dogs are nice and very comfortable around strangers. Thank you for sharing your home with us. Would recommend for short getaway or a week or longer.

Another great time at the Cozy Cabin

We were looking for a girls weekend away to hang out, play in the snow, watch movies, play games and hang out, we opted to return to this rental because we had such a great experience last year and we were not disappointed. The property was clean, the owners are friendly and communication was easy. We’ll be back in the future for sure.

Peaceful, beautiful setting!

We enjoyed our time at the Lake in this wonderful Cottage. It had everything we needed to entertain 4 lively granddaughters, swimming and kayaking and lots of birds! After the girls left, it was so quiet and serene. We sat on the deck drinking coffee and enjoyed tooling around the Lake in a pontoon. The location was close to golfing, zip lines and pasties. The stars at night were amazing.

Perfect getaway

We stayed for 5 nights over the 4th of July and had a wonderful experience. The lake was much larger and more scenic that we expected. Highly recommend renting the pontoon! The swimming, floating and fishing were our favorite parts of our stay. The sunsets and star gazing are incredible. There's not much to do in the area but we didn't want to leave the lake anyway. Comfy beds and the super clean, cozy cottage made us feel right at home! The owners are kind and helpful. We hope to return!

Good times at the cozy cabin

The cabin felt more like a home, very nice and comfortable. We had a great time with our family on our 33rd anniversary. Leise was very nice and friendly. Our grandchildren had a blast with the kayaks and paddle boat. Great firepit with plenty of firewood was awesome. We had a couple of rainy days so didn't get to use the pontoon as much as we would have liked. Would definitely recommend and are planning on going back next year. Thanks Leise for your hospitality.

Great family getaway!

We had an amazing week. It was a quiet lake with opportunities for the kids to fish and swim. It was also a calm lake and you could see beautiful sun rises and sunsets. The yard was a great size so there is plenty of room to play catch and other games. There is a large and roomy deck with nice furniture. The home is extremely nice with plenty of space. My sons enjoyed sleeping in the balcony area, and the kitchen and bathroom are spacious and very nice looking. We even were able to use the pontoon, pedal boat and kayak's. Couldn't ask for more!

Great time, fun fishing, we are already talking about coming back.

We had a great time fishing. We caught sunfish, bluegill, pike, base, a bowfish. The only keepers were the sunfish. The pike were all to small. Loved fishing on the lake. Not many people were on the lake. So we had the option of fishing anywhere we wanted to try. We tried a lot of spots and had fun just about evey place we stopped the boat. The lake was treated during our stay and we couldn't swim for 2 of the day but still fished. The only complaint would be the amount of goose feces. I understand that geese are a huge problem but I saw no attempt at keeping them off the property. I did observe others on the lake at least making an attempt at keeping their property free of the geese.

Everything we hoped it would be

Very well kept home on a beautiful lake in Clare County. The home is spacious, open, and cozy . There is a town about 20 minutes that offers a grocery store, pharmacy, and a few restaurant options. The neighboring homes were quiet and everyone kind of keeps to themselves. We loved the fishing and caught several varieties of Pan fish, pike, and bass. We met the owners briefly on our way out (they live next door) and they were very nice. It was cold and rainy during our stay but there are many accommodations that are provided that we would of utilized in warmer weather such as kayaks, pontoon and a sandy beach area. We loved the fire pit as well. They do have a gas grill on a very nice patio overlooking the water. My wife and I drove about 45 minutes to find some good hiking trails in the Cadillac area. The owner has equipped the house well with everything you need to feel at home. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. P.S. - 15 minutes away is a place called the Buckhorn Saloon. If your craving pizza, there’s is AMAZING and I’m a harsh critic!

The Cozy Cottage was Wonderful

My parents own a cottage on this lake, but closed it for the winter, which disrupted our plans...So we were so happy to find this cottage for a long weekend to relax, play games and play in the snow. It did not disappoint. It was clean and comfortable, on a great lot on the lake (with just enough of a hill for the kids to sled right in the yard). A perfect size for my friend and I to bring our 5 kiddos and not feel cramped at all. The owners also own the property next door and were so nice, they let our kiddos play with their sweet puppies, which might have been the kid’s favorite part. I’m familiar with the area, as we spend a lot of time there, but Lake George is close enough to run and grab necessities. There is a larger grocery store not too far in Farwell, as well. We also headed to Clare to Cops and Doughnuts (which is kind of a tradition), Mt. Pleasant for some time at the Kid’s Discovery Museum, and Snow Snake for some tubing. We had a blast, and have no complaints. Grateful we have such a great option when we need it! We will be looking for Mark, Leise and the pups on the lake this summer, and will likely be renting this cottage again in the future.

Nice lake getaway

House was nice size, clean, and comfortable for 5 people. However, our only complaint was that that the main floor was comfortable due to a window air conditioner in bedroom to keep main floor cool but upstairs was miserable hot and made it difficult to sleep due to no air conditioning. We have terrible seasonal allergies and can not have windows constantly open and assumed when we saw the listing say air conditioning it was for the whole house. The view was beautiful and we had a fun time out on the pontoon and kayaks fishing and exploring the lake. The property owners were nice and easy to deal with.

We live in South Lyon, MI. We have 4 children, two are married with children of their own. We all love going up to the lake to relax and enjoy fishing and swimming.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We bought our house on Doc & Tom in 2013. We enjoy the lake. It is so relaxing, we enjoy the fishing and the quiet bay our house is located in. It is only 2 1/2 hours away from South Lyon, this gives us the perfect opportunity to get away without using a whole day to get here.
