Fun Atmosphere spacious for kids to enjoy.

Accommodations were good. The only thing I would say is there is only one bathroom, which I knew before I booked. Very roomy.

Amazing Hosts!!!

Lisa was very responsive and super friendly! The property is very well maintained and clean!! We enjoyed the hot tub! This would be an awesome rental in the summer when the pool is able to be used! Overall 5 stars!

Wonderful

The stay was wonderful. My family and I enjoyed the pool and hotub. The place was very clean and actually I hope to stay there again in the near future and I would recommend this place to anyone. I had no problems or complaints.

A very nice home with a pool and hot tub. Very clean and nice home with all the amenities. We enjoyed our stay here. The weather was perfect and the pool was very relaxing. Hope to visit here again.

House was clean and tidy. Owner worked with us on a late checkout on Sunday. Pool was great as the temperature avg was mid 90s. The only drawback was only 1 bathroom

Won’t stay again.

This property has 1 bathroom. Got here and had a family event, but within 2 hours of being there had neighbors calling the host stating we were being too loud at 6:30 pm.. when there was only 4 of us there… don’t recommend if you havea speaking voice that is naturally above a whisper.

Comfortable and fun!

We had a great time, enjoying the hot tub and pool as well as the house and all the thoughtful extras added for guest comfort and enjoyment! The only problem we had was getting the tub to work. The knobs are really old and don’t turn well so it took a while to get the water on and the temps right. Otherwise A++!

Nice back yard and dog friendly

This home has a beautiful backyard, wifi, and TV worked great. Wonderful laundry room with good working washer and dryer. Plenty of room for our family of 4, with a very nice living area and large TV. My kids enjoyed swimming on the warm days that we stayed. The pool is not heated but was fine with warm weather. The jacuzzi was in good working order and fun. The bedding and mattresses were not high-end but were clean and functional. There is a lot of carpet in this home but it appeared very clean. The yard front and back are very well maintained. There is a dispensary you can see behind the yard which was not a big deal for us. They are on every corner in Oklahoma City so it is not something you can avoid. I liked the security camera, I could check that my car was ok without going outside. We wondered if this house had a basement during tornado warnings but, the house has newer windows and was quiet inside during two storms. They had lots of extra towels, blankets, and linen available. The location is easy to get to the airport. The surrounding areas had some roughness but the home is nice and we enjoyed our stay.

Very disappointed, pool was green and unusable when we arrived, owner would not refund our money.

We conversed with the owner via email many times before our arrival in regards to the house and pool. The owner was aware we were staying there because of the private pool. One hour before we arrived the owner emailed stating they would be there that evening to mow and that the pool water was not up to par. When we arrived the pool was green with algae making it unusable. We immediately called the owner and left a voice message with the call not being returned. We waited for a response from the owner, after 30 minutes we went and stayed at a near hotel. Owner sent us an email a few hours later refusing a refund and directed us to call vrbo. Owner also noted they would not refund us since we did not give them sufficient time to fix the green pool. The pool (which is why we chose this property) would not be fixed back to a state of what is shown in their advertised pictures within a day. The following day the owner sent new pictures of the pool with the water in a better state but was still green. We would not of written a bad review (because sometimes things happen) however the refusal to refund our money when the owner was aware the property did not meet the standards advertised warrants this review for everyone to see. If this review would allow it we would post the pictures of the pool here and everyone would fully understand the reason for us going to a hotel.

Enjoyed the property, pool was easy to keep clean. Didn’t use the hot tub but it was clean when we got there. Decent stock of spices and cookware. Location wasn’t the greatest but we never encountered any issues besides kids riding loud motorcycles up and down the street everyday.

The property itself was great for us. Traveling with my dog to an all weekend competition and having a big yard to decompress in was key. The bed was comfortable. I enjoyed watching TV. The kitchen was great. Everything was spotlessly clean. My concern was the neighborhood. Traveling alone, I felt vulnerable leaving early in the morning. It was still dark, there were individuals roaming the neighborhood and staring at me as I loaded the car. I did not feel safe. The house backs up to a busy street and there is a lot of noise but I slept ok in the front room. There were individuals ( minors) riding loud mini bikes through the streets at night but that stopped around midnight.

Nice stay . Some Kitchen pans need to be updated I was reluctant to use due to wear and tear. The nail strip on the kitchen threshold is starting to wear through the carpet I stepped on it a few times was not pleasant. Recycle bin was full to the brim so we were or able to recycle as we would usually do but overall nice neat and tidy home. I would stay again

Relaxing

House was perfect for a "Girls Getaway" of 3 generations. Pool and hot tub were wonderful and we ended up spending most of our time there. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed. Prompt communication with hosts. Couldn't ask for more. Definitely recommend.

The home was very clean and smelled amazing. The hot tub was ready for us to use and unfortunately we didnt have tome to enjoy with our busy OYE schedule. Kitchen was stocked really well and made it easy for me to make meals for my family. She checked in with us multiple times to be sure all was going well..

Great House!

This little house was perfect for our two night stay in OKC. Very clean and cozy! Beds were extremely comfortable!! Host obviously pays attention to small details such as power strips, shampoo/conditioner, lotion, place to put jewelry in bathroom, kitchen utensils…the list goes on! Our dogs loved them big fenced in backyard and we really enjoyed the amazing hot tub!! Would definitely return if ever back in OKC! Thank you Lisa!

Great overall

It worked out for me. I was just there to see my family and I didn’t have my puppies with me. The only thing I would recommend is maybe installing laminate and replace the carpet.

Disappointed

The host was very responsive to all my messages. We were extremely disappointed with the condition of the home. Upon entering through the front door, we immediately noticed a large black stain on the carpet, which needs to be replaced. Walking barefoot on the floor revealed carpet tacks sticking through. The hot tub was filled with excessive suds, making it uncomfortable to use. The bedding appeared worn and outdated. The couch in the living room was in poor condition, very dirty, and falling apart. The laundry room had an unpleasant mold or mildew smell. The bathroom was very small, and the neighborhood the house is located in is not ideal. Overall, my family was thoroughly dissatisfied.

House is good. Well kept and well stocked. Has all the things you need. Beds comfortable. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Hot tub is really nice. Glad they keep pool open because it was a warm October and nice for the kids to enjoy.

Perfect for Us

Myself, my spouse, his brother & sister- in- law stayed 3 nights at the Private Retreat with Pool and Hot tub. The house was as advertised, clean and very comfortable for us. The owners were responsive to questions prior to renting and gave the check in details well in advance of our arrival, they even had it available earlier than stated. It was a quick and easy trip from airport, the outlying neighborhood may not be the greatest, but we did not feel unsafe at all. The immediate neighborhood was fine. The 1st night we accidentally broke the head off the shower (of course it was the sister-in-law);} The guys, who are contractors, were unable to put it back together. The next morning we texted the owners, they quickly responded and made arrangements to fix. We came back later in the day to a new shower head! We used the pool and hot tub, both were very nice and well maintained. We had a great time in OKC and would definitely rent again when in the area.
