McCallum House is a perfect holiday home for a getaway in Binningup. Fully self-contained with extensive ocean views, the 3 bedroom\/1.5 bathroom house has a comfortable and spacious living and kitchen area as its hub. Pets welcome. Secure front yard.

McCallum House Binningup offers comfortable accommodation for up to 6 people in 3 bedrooms. This unique house is architecturally designed with views of the Indian Ocean from every window.

Built on a hill, the house is single story and supported by poles, with breathtaking views to the west.

Our host Jane was wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble.The house was spotlessly clean with lots of basic pantry items, books, games and DVDs to keep everyone entertained Perfect spot, high on the hill, to catch the breeze. Short walk to the beach 
 everything you could think of for a beach holiday

Great mini break

This was a lovely break away from our routine, the wood fire and ocean views made the house a perfect escape. Lovely linen, super clean house and a great space to wind down. Can’t wait to return!! Many thanks.

Such a beautiful place to stay. Very comfortable. Would definitely recommend. Only down side was the heat as we were there middle of summer and there is no aircon.

Great location and property

We had a great stay in Binningup. The house was very clean on arrival and had great views of the ocean. given it was a very hot weekend the house was quite hot during the day however we knew coming down there was no AC and didn't spend much time indoors. The evenings and nights were very pleasant with a great breeze. A great stay all in all would recommend.

Great stay

Great relaxing stay for a weekend with family and dogs. Location was brilliant, walking distance to the beach. Only downside was it was a hot weekend and without aircon it was really quite hot given its a tin house. They do provide portable fans which helped a little but still not enough. Other than the heat the stay was brilliant

Relaxed and quiet

I had a lovely stay. The house has a very relaxed, welcoming feel and is 3 mins walk to the beach. A short drive or longer walk gets you to a great, flat swimming beach. The house had everything I needed for a comfortable stay although air con would be great if it was any hotter. Binnigyup is extremely quiet!

Short stay

This is a value of money property, clean, well maintained and spacious. Balcony is superb and sunsets are special. BBQ was clean and easy to use. Bedding and towels provided a big plus, spa bath amazing! Small "village" feel, amenities limited, beach average. Access to lots of places within an hour, plenty to see and WA beaches in general are great.

Platform to explore the South West

Nice property. Comfortable enough for the family in a good location. Only really spent the evenings there as we were out exploring all day. Didn’t know there would be no dishwasher as it was mentioned. A couple of the sliding doors were very stiff but otherwise a pleasant stay.

It was disappointing to have to wash most utensils in the kitchen before using - pots and pans were grubby with encrusted food grime on bases. Also, no instructions for dishwasher, tv, spa or coffee pod. Found unused pods crammed in base of coffee pod machine - obvious many others could not get it to work either. Instructions were to bring coffee pods or beans - bought beans thinking there was a lovely coffee machine with grinder, but nothing there - should say bring ground coffee to use in percolator jug. Robes were unsightly, full of rubbish just tossed in. Thin doona had to be folded in two to be warm enough - no heating or aircon in bedrooms, only portable oil heater. Wood fire in living area was lovely. Pillowslips and sheets on one bed were cold and quite damp and had to be run through dryer to dry off before going to bed on first night. Cork floor was lovely, as were ocean views from beautiful deck, but no table outside to have meals there. Shower recess base and floor in smaller bathroom dirty and had to be cleaned before use - just buildup from many uses. Larger areas were clean, especially cork floor, but grubby window bases. Lovely quiet area for restful sleep. Overall, disappointing standard for the money.

Great location, but tired property

Awesome mostly quiet location, fantastic view of the ocean. Inside is ok, tidy and just clean enough, but tired. Nice furniture in very good condition. Beds are good, fans in bedrooms are very good. Dishwasher is very good. Flooring is good and clean throughout.Walls need repainting, some blinds need attention and bathrooms look old. Kitchen, well appointed, but looks old and only just clean enough. Couch and dining chair covers need attention, only just clean enough. Fly screens have lots of cobwebs and some need attention. Windows are badly marked, with what looks like tinting peeling off/damp in a lot of locations.Great being able to close the gates and allow dogs to be off leash on driveway area. Rest of the outside is too overgrown to allow dogs off leash for fear of snakes.

Great house for a getaway

A nice house at the northern end of Binningup that has great elevation. From the balcony you can see the ocean and check out the sunsets. The open area in the middle of the house comprising living and dining area and kitchen leading onto balcony is excellent. The outside of the house has a lot of vegetation which actually provides added seclusion from neighbouring backyards that you would otherwise look down into which is great. Binningup is quiet but has a great golf course. Burgers, fish and chips and ice-cream from the lone local store were spot on. The location means easy travel into Bunbury, Harvey and the Ferguson Valley, all of which we did. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it!

Disgusting

Not as pictured. Not happy with stayz will never use this booking agency again. We were able to stay in the property for our wedding anniversary. As someone else was already in the property. Double booked. That should never happen. Very very disappointed.

Good coastal getaway house.

Very nice house overlooking the beach in a quiet area of a quiet town, whilst being within 30mins of anywhere you need to go (bunbury, wineries, etc.). The local grocery store actually has quite a lot of stock and variety including alcohol. A very good winter and cooler-month house, would get a bit hot in summer with no air-con, particularly the back rooms, but cools down quickly & well overnight with the elevation and sea breeze.
