White Dog Lane Cottage Farm Stay

White Dog Lane est une ferme et une maison dirigée par Brian et Susanne Prater dans une ville côtière pittoresque. Situé dans un paysage pittoresque sur une campagne vallonnée, il abrite un paysage d'arbres en écorce de papier, des trempages naturels et une variété de bétail. La ferme est adossée à une rivière et le sentier Munda Biddi traverse le paysage de brousse le long de la façade de la propriété. Il est également à une courte distance en voiture des belles plages de sable blanc et des criques cristallines.

Le chalet de trois chambres est disponible comme refuge de ferme et peut accueillir jusqu'à 6 personnes. Pour les vacances, les escapades romantiques le week-end et les occasions spéciales, c'est une destination confortable, luxueuse, riche en histoire et qui était autrefois la ferme d'origine des années 1910. Les vues des paddocks remplis de bétail peuvent être appréciées sur la véranda remplie de caractère et une salle de bains contemporaine 'regarde sur le barrage naturel et le haras de chèvre miniature. Brian et Susanne s'efforceront d'être les hôtes parfaits, dans le but ultime d'offrir aux clients un séjour privé, relaxant, pittoresque et thérapeutique.

Tranquility and treats

This is a delightfully presented cottage in a lovely farm setting. Brian and Susi are caring and attentive hosts, but were not intrusive in any way.The cottage has all the amenities we could need for a relaxing holiday and we enjoyed the fresh air and farm animals.The daily treats dropped in by Susi were a great added bonus.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Amazing farm stay highly recommend

Amazing quaint little cottage well suited for our family looking to unwind from the normal hustle and bustle. Kids absolutely loved the farm animals especially the chickens. Brian and Suzi were fantastic hosts and we felt welcome the minute we arrived.

Most amazing hosts and property

We stayed two nights at White Dog Lane. Brian and Susi were amazingly warm hosts, Susi had warm scones ready for us on arrival and baked us more treats the next day, Brian spent lots of time showing us the animals and chatting. Our kids absolutely loved collecting the eggs and feeding the goats and are already asking when we can go back. The cottage itself is incredibly cute and is beautifully renovated and full of beautiful antique furniture. Highly recommend a stay here, we will be back for sure!

Fantastic Farmstay

Beautiful property, stunning views from every angle. Beautiful antique style house, lovely and warm on cold nights, very comfortable with all the modern facilities. Farm treats dropped off daily were a beautiful little touch. Absolutely smittened with our accomodation. Great space for the kids with all the space and a play area.

Beautiful cottage in a fantastic location

White Dog Lane Cottage is set on a working farm in Elleker located between Denmark and Albany and giving you access to some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Suzy and Brian were thoughtful and engaging hosts with regular pastry surprises along with plenty of privacy and close proximity to goats, sheep and cattle. Highly recommend this experience to any visitor to the south coast.

The perfect family spot

We had an amazing stay at White Dog Lane and can't recommend it highly enough - it is a wonderful home away from home. The cottage is spacious, clean and very comfortable to stay in. Susi and Brian were so helpful and welcoming, and we just loved Susi's homemade baked goodies that were regularly delivered. For those travelling with a young child, this is dream accommodation. There is a highchair and a stash of toys, the master room was generous enough to easily fit our portacot, plus there is a washing machine and washing line for the inevitable mountain of grubby clothes small people generate, and a huge bath (with bubble bath ready to go) in the master ensuite. Outside the cottage, my toddler spent hours on the slide and swings, feeding the goats and visiting the horses and chickens. It is also worth noting that there is a convenient power point outside the house for those needing to charge an EV like us which was so handy. Thank you so much Susi and Brian, we'll definitely be back!

Incredible hospitality

Check in was smooth and contactless, detail instructions were provided to us via text in advance. The property is beautiful and incredibly presented, with the best provision of “basics” I’ve seen at any accommodation. Breakfast cereals, bread, crumpets, condiments and a home made baked treat all welcomed us on arrival. It truely felt like coming home to see family for the weekend and it made our stay so amazing. The house was clean and well presented, with very comfortable rooms. There was nothing we wanted for the entire stay. We would definitely recommend to anyone considering.

Nice rural cottage stay on a beautiful farm

Cute cottage, nice comfy main bed (didn’t use the others). Had efficient heating but wish there had been a log fire. Friendly hosts complete with baked goods! Couldn’t walk around the farm due to paranoia re foot and mouth disease but didn’t bother us (may be disappointing with kids) Lounge area a bit of a let down, would be very cramped with 6 people, not keen on the old sofas.

The most beautiful farm cottage!!!!

This was the most beautiful stay ad the whole atmosphere of the farm made it so much better than we could have imagined it would be. The property is very secluded and the cottage is gorgeous. There is lots of room inside and it was a very comfortable place that we felt right at home in, and the style of the cottage and everything in it is beautiful! The main bed was extremely comfortable and having the hot tub with was an added luxury. Susi was the sweetest host who greeted us on our arrival with the most delicious scones with jam and cream, and was very kind and welcoming to us by showing us around the property and being extremely easy to get in contact with if we needed anything. Brian was also very lovely and friendly, chatting with us about the farm and the animals. The goats are the most gorgeous animals and having to leave was really hard because it was just the most magical experience staying here. We will 1000000% be back again and we can’t wait!!!

Golden week

We had a beautiful week hidden away in this gem of a cottage. Easy distance to Albany and Denmark and all the surrounding attractions, all the charm and seclusion of a farm stay with the perks of a fancy hotel - including a gorgeous spa and fluffy robes! The kids (and let’s face it, I) adored the ponies and goats and the stunning views from every angle meant we had a real sense of “getting away from it all”. The baked goodies and arriving to basic provisions were a wonderful surprise. Susi and Brian were very attentive hosts, thanks for sharing your property with us!

Magical stay

This was an amazing house situated on a beautiful property. The heating was so efficient and felt so cosy on cold nights and mornings. The house itself was great size and had everything we needed. Susi and Brian were fabulous....delicious baked treats every day made the holiday so special. The scones were definitely my favourite! My husband brought his fishing rod and did some fishing in the property there with Brian's helpful pointers and the kids happily interacted with the baby goats and pony's and chickens. It was a great place to stay for our getaway and we will happily recommend it to all of our friends and families

My fiance and I recently stayed at White Dog Lane for 3 nights and we loved every second of it. Absolutely Amazing!

Where do I even begin... The stay was absolutely amazing! Came here for a romantic relaxing getaway with my partner and my gosh it was everything we wanted. Fresh scones, jam and cream on arrival thanks to Suzi. They were the best scones we had ever had! Everyday Susi dropped off yummy baked treats. The farm house was so clean, tidy and warm and the master bedroom and ensuite was to die for. The bed was so comfortable and we had a bath everyday overlooking the beautiful green paddock with goats eating grass. The sounds of sheep was soothing to the soul. You could walk around the property freely and felt so comfortable doing so. We highly recommend booking White Dog Lane for your next stay! You will not be disappointed! Thank you we will be back!!!

Wonderful return visit

This was my husband and my second visit to the cottage and it was just as perfect as we remembered. This time, we were joined by my husband's parents, who were as delighted by the charm of the cottage and the farm as we were. Farmstay perfection

Susi and Brian have created a truly special cottage which has everything one could need or want when on holiday, which combined with their wonderful hospitality (and Susi's delicious baked goodies!) made us feel like we were in a home away from home during our 3 night stay. We have already booked our next getaway at White Dog Lane and quite regard it as our own little rented version of Balmoral in the Elleker countryside! 😄
