Shower drain was clogged and water sat in bottom of shower. hot water was hot for 1 mins then went cold then when hot came on it would scorch you. Main bed was uncomfortably and squeaky

The house was very neat and clean. It had everything that we needed to make our week long stay comfortable. The house is situated in a very quiet area with lots of great places to eat, nearby.The host was very helpful.Highly recommended!

House was really nice, spacious, and beds were comfortable.

Stays.com advertised this property as 3 bedrooms, all with queen beds, but actually only one room had a queen bed, one had a single and the other had 2 single beds. We were only 2 adults, so this really didn't matter. Also, the check-in time in Stays.com was 1 pm, but in fact the owner said we can check in only after 2 pm. We had trouble with loose shower taps, but we contacted the owner and he came very quickly and fixed it and was very helpful and pleasant to deal with. In summary, it was a very nice house and we were very comfortable, all rooms had split system units (heating and cooling), which was very useful especially since it was very hot compared to Melbourne.

Security issue and insects

The host is responsive but there are a few issues like door handles some of them are not tightened up firmly. The furniture is old but only the bedroom ones are pretty good. The Ac system is fine all rooms have air-conditioning. We found cocroaches specially in kitchen and toilets. We felt the security is not pretty good in the property.

We stayed three nights at the house. The house was clean and warm with the air conditioners. The BBQ unfortunately didn’t work and we found the shower fluctuated very hot and cold. Easy access to Carousel Shopping centre. Thank you

I would not recommend this property to anyone!!

Arrived on a wet 10 degree day to a freezing house. There was a used child’s car seat leaning up against the house. Went to the kitchen to make a cup of tea to find only 2 teabags in cupboard, no sugar and no milk of any kind. Items in the cupboard were an open bag of rice, open bag of salt and an open bag of breakfast cereal. There were no condiments of any kind although there was a used bag of ice in the freezer. In the bathroom there was only one very small round bar of soap to be used by two people for four days. There was also an empty bottle of body wash and two other body wash bottles partially filled. One tiny tube of shampoo and conditioner as well as an almost empty tube. The two bath towels supplied were very small and were well worn. There was no face washer or hand towel and we were expected to use the same towel each for the entire time. There were no spare towels. Even though it’s winter there was only one summer weight doona on each bed with no extra doonas in any cupboard. The floors had not been swept or vacuumed and the floor drain in the toilet had little bits of rubbish on it. I have used other Stayz properties that were very welcoming. I felt that the owners of this property couldn’t care less and there is no way I would recommend this property to anyone!!

1. The car seat seat was belong to the previous guest. They wanted to put it in the rubbish bin (outside the house) but the bin was full so they put next to the bin. 2. Sorry about the tea and sugar. We forgot to refilled. 3. We only provide small soaps (just like hotel soaps). 4. Our towels are standard size. 5. Every bed room has reverse cycle air condition, which you can adjust the temperature you wish (there fore we only provide one doona in every room) Even in the kitchen and living room we provide heater for your comfort. If you enter the house and feeling a bit cold all you need to do just turn on the heaters. 6. Regarding the floor, yes we vacuumed and mopped floor 100 percents. 7. The toilet drain had little bits of rubbish on it... seriously ?? One of the big lessons we have learned from this business is we can't please everyone. There are people who always looking for something to complain about anything.
