We had a great time. Six people could easily fit in the space. We had everything we needed in the kitchen, and the balcony offered lovely and soothing views. We had no trouble finding a spot, and the parking was perfect. In late December and January, everything is a little calmer and quieter, but that's precisely what we wanted from our vacation.

This property was fantastic. Ocean views, close to restaurants and just minutes from shopping. Pool, hot tub and lazy river were clean and surprisingly not too crowded anytime we went. We had a great time.

Beautiful Beach Stay

Absolutely loved staying here. Very quiet, safe area, and the condo was just as described. Would recommend it and would love to stay there again.

I rented two properties in Mar Vista Grande last week and this was the better of the two. This is a very nice beachy, spacious, well-appointed condo. It had very nice views and a beachy vibe. The property itself is impeccably maintained and very nice. There is an indoor pool, outdoor pool, indoor and outdoor hot tubs and the lazy river as well as a private beach. Outstanding. Two thumbs up!

Extended family for yearly trip to N. Myrtle. Excellent view. Excellent water pressure. Excellent security, including parking. Great staff. There were a couple of small issues, like the stove - can't tell which burner you're turning on. And the microwave - it sounds like the fan in it is on its last leg. The furnishings were not bad. The balcony is a nice size. We would definitely return.

Great location! Spacious condo/balcony on the beach!!

Perfect location, plenty of space in condo, right on the beach and reasonable price. The only complaint I have about the whole stay is that the condo was not very clean - mainly the bathrooms and bedrooms (under the beds appeared to not have been swept in some time). Otherwise, this place was fantastic and would go there again!

Really nice complex, pool area and outdoor amenities. However the condo could use a good run thru by maintenance. Garbage disposal didn’t work, toilet paper holder was broken and no lock on the bathroom door. No linens for the kitchen and the check-in process was a pain for late check-in. Office closes at 5pm. So you have to return the next day just to show your ID and sign in.

We’re glad you enjoyed the complex and pool area, but we are very disappointed by this 3-star review. During your entire stay, we never received a single text, call, or message about the items you mentioned here. Our maintenance team is available specifically to resolve issues like a garbage disposal or toilet paper holder in real time, but we can’t fix what we aren’t told about. Our after-hours check-in process is clearly explained in the rental agreement reviewed and signed prior to booking. This policy protects the owner’s property and ensures we verify all reservations in person. While we understand it can feel inconvenient, this process is standard and helps prevent unauthorized or underage bookings. Had we been given the opportunity, we would have addressed every one of these concerns during your stay. Reviews are most helpful when they reflect both the property and the responsiveness of the host, and in this case, we were never given the chance to demonstrate the latter. We always encourage guests to reach out during their stay so we can promptly address any concerns and provide the 5-star experience we’re known for.

Having full and queen size beds in the guest bedrooms was great when all the guests are adults. Overall a great experience and a very nice condo resort.

Our condo was neatly arranged and clean. Our view from the balcony was excellent. The facility amenities were great with the pools, gym, charcoal grills and convenient parking. We plan to return next summer as well.

Beautiful Beachfront Condo!

My sisters and I had a wonderful time! The condo was very clean and had everything we needed. Will definitely be looking to book this condo again in the near future. It’s my first time using iTrip and the whole process was so easy…from booking the condo to checking out…no hassles at all.

This accommodation is just right for our women’s retreat. We had an issue with the air conditioning, which once reported, was promptly fixed. It was impressive to see how fast and courteously our need was tended to. The ceiling fans were dirty, but overall was clean. We did enjoy our stay, and would come back again.

Overall this property is dated and with some TLC be greatly improved. Mold in a shower, non working lights under counters, are 2 call outs. Thanks

The only problem I had was never receiving the email one week before the checkin date. I called to find out where we needed to pick up the key. The rest of the trip was beautiful and so was the facility.

Thanksgiving vacation

We have stayed in this complex in different condos 4 times. The condo was as I expected but the furniture is lacking. Couch and chair uncomfortable and very low to get out of. Dining table was not as pictured in ad. Only 2 of the chairs had seat cushions and hurt your back to sit. Master bed held together by 2x4’s . We powered through because we love the complex and the area around it but they really need to replace some of the furniture .

Braving our first COVID trip

We enjoyed our time at Mar Vista greatly. The property is clean, staff pleasant and helpful and it was a quiet, pleasant weekend. The only disappointment was the confusion over the pool situation. Mar Vista's board elected to wait a week longer than the state required to open. This was an unwelcome and unpleasant surprise as we have three young grandchildren who were so excited about the pools. We will likely be back - everything is very conveniently located and the property very well maintained. PS - the beds and pillows weren't very comfortable.

The property was nice, laid out well, and the kitchen was adequately stocked. Overall cleanliness upon arrival left a lot to be desired. Floors were very sandy. The air return for the AC was filthy and I cleaned it myself. Refrigerator was not clean. The lock to the patio door does not work. All that being said, the condo was nice and made for a pleasant vacation.

Decent place

The bedrooms and bathrooms were great, the view of ocean was perfect and beautiful. The toilet in master bedroom leaked, called they came out to fix it the next day but it still ran the rest of week. Not enough towels for 6 senior women, no dish rags at all. Beds were comfortable, there was dust everywhere. Big enough for the 6 of us. Very annoying we had to go 15 minutes away to check in and get the key. Had a problem with my payment. They took it out and refunded it said the address was wrong, which it was wrong on their end, they took first payment out no problem so that was stressful.

We're so glad you enjoyed your stay! We provide towel sets equal to double the occupancy of the condo, so you were provided 20 sets. We also provide a washer and dryer to clean the towels should that not be enough (although we can't fathom 20 sets of towels for 6 people wasn't enough since you were nowhere near the max capacity of the condo). Regarding the address issue, that's actually not what happened at all, as you're well aware. You entered a 5 for your address and it was supposed to be a 6. Once you made that edit, you were able to successfully submit the charge on your end in your tenant portal. I just wanted to clear that up as our guests enter their billing address, not us. Thanks for staying with us!

Stay at Mar Vista Grande

We enjoyed our stay in this unit. The views from the balcony were excellent and the condo itself is accessible and convenient to everything in both North and Myrtle Beach. The check-in process was easy and clearly communicated. The unit itself could use some updating and renovation. The furniture seemed cheap and not well put together. Beds were sparsely covered with sheets and a thin blanket. TVs were very small, especially when compared to other units at this condo where we have stayed previous. The ledges on the tubs were abnormally high and difficult to get in and out of easily. We enjoyed our few day stay here, but wouldn’t return to this unit for a weeklong visit in the future.

Toilet seat in primary bathroom must be replaced. Underside has filthy, gross stains. Saw no hand towels. Right sink cold water faucet loose. Need better skillets, other pots and utensils. Electric griddle broken. Shabby furniture in two small bedrooms. Sand on floors when we arrived, especially in primary bedroom. Dried coffee under coffee pot. AC control worked great, that’s important to me. The building is maintained beautifully. Liked the tiki bar. Friendly and courteous staff. Other than mentioned above, we had a great time and enjoyed all aspects of the property.

Great views, good location and roomy

Our stay was ok only after they sent the maintenance man to fix the sliding door would not lock with a toddler and replace 8+_ light bulbs, refrigerator water filter, frying pans and cookie sheets as well as fix the bedroom door hinge that the door was hanging off and change out filthy shower curtains in both bathrooms. Then they sent a person to clean the place. There was so much dust all of the floor and under the furniture and the ceiling fans had so much dust on them you didn’t want to turn on For fear that it would go all over the place. It was so disappointing to go thru this when you pay so much and a good chunk of it is the cleaning fee of which in our case was never cleaned. Vrbo should reimburse us for the cleaning fee for the issues we had
