We received excellent customer service from Villatel and the Solara Resort, but we had some issues with the house. One of the remotes for the home theater was missing, which they replaced, and then the Wi-Fi needed to be reset. It took several days to be rectified. Issues with regulating the pool temp from too cold to too hot. Gas grill was very old and wobbly but worked. The refrigerator had broken crisper drawer and door shelf. Living room furniture were uncomfortable. There was a slight smell of cigarette smoke upstairs. Photos on website were old. House is no longer blue, only 2 games in arcade room, missing chairs at counter and DR, cushioned chairs and connect 4 game missing from patio. Overall everyone enjoyed the house which proved a nice space for 14 people to gather for a family vacation.

Wonderful Stay

We had a great stay with our family of 6. Kids loved the video games and we all loved the movie room! We actually played the wall scrabble so many times we tried to find one for home! We had a small delay in getting pool/hot tub heated but it was working fine by the end of our stay. Good communication with rental company. Drive into attractions was great, but we did have some major traffic getting back to the house every evening. Not really a complaint, just be prepared if you have tired/hungry kids. Would definitely stay again!

Fun property, but lacks in details

Overall the house is a fun place to stay at while visiting Orlando. The arcades, various game tables, pool, and movie theater make it a fun place to spend time when you're not out and about. The house was lacking in details though. They give you the bare minimum in terms of household supplies like dish soap, laundry detergent, etc. There was no dish scrubber or sponge, and the toilet paper they supply is basically 1-ply cardboard, and only 1 roll in each bathroom. The kitchen didn't even have salt and pepper. This meant we had to go out and buy a lot of these things for the week we were there, and then leave them behind. One of the arcade games was broken down while we were there. There was no salt on the shuffle board table and it took several days for them to supply some. There are a bunch of board games shown in the listing photos, but there were none there when we got there. These were things that drew is to the rental, so to not have them available was a little frustrating. Overall it was a fine place to stay and we all had fun, which is the important part. I just would expect a little more attention to the little details with this high of a price point.

Great For Large Families

We took our 5 adult children, spouses and grandkids. This was a great home due to everyone had a bedroom and their own bathrooms. The pool heat was well worth it. Home was not as clean when we got there as I would have liked, but still in great shape. Couch was broken some, but very large and family loved sitting on it. Dinning table was great for everyone to sit together. Few issues but most taken care of right away. Overall it was an amazing home to vacation with a large family! We had not regrets. Was a great vacation and lots of memories were made.

Great property but lots of issues.

The house is laid out great for a group and i would recommend it, IF the items below are fixed or at least communicated that they are not working AND service to correct is made available everyday,, no exceptions! Poorly maintained. We rented for 18- towels for 18 were not in the unit, no wash cloths. Brought to us, but its tge fact that it wasn't prepared properly. Cooking utensils need to be upgraded- some were broken- very limited for cooking for a group. Broom was a sad. Needs replaced! No vacuum that we could access. Hot tub blower went out and since it was close to a holiday could not/ would not repair. Unacceptable!!. Should have service no matter the day or time for a vacation rental. Repairman came when we were leaving and literally took him 10 minutes to replace. Extremely upset! Whats a hot tub w/o jets! The theatre surround sound did not work. Could not get local TV channels on any TV. Leave instructions. Water pressure was POOR. Took twice as long to wash long hair. Drains were slow. Should be routine to clean! Unclogged one.. Thank you Lamps unplugged and unaccessible. Fixed one. Thank you Bathroom off Cinderella room electric sockets on both sides of the sink did not work. Two games in the game room were not operating from day one and I was not told that they weren't working when we rented. Possibly would have not rented. Needed activities for the children. Wave pool /Flow rider sold as an amenity at the resort and it cost extra for each person $39.99 for 30 minutes. Irrigation "drip line" for the flower beds was a huge trip hazard. Especially with elderly people, which we had. Again, great property but the maintenance and management could do better. I was in vacation property rentals business. I know how daunting and busy it can be but also now how it should be done. Would like a review for a partial refund. Joy

Great Choice

We had a group of 17 people ages 2 to 60 for a 6 day stay. The property fit all of us with room to spare. Clean, nicely decorated and huge kitchen area. The house had something for everyone in our group... pool, big scramble board, theater, game systems, game room with basketball (which my kids loved). Resort was a couple steps away which was nice as well. No regrets with this place. Will be visiting again next year.

Perfect for a large family

It was a perfect vacation for a large family reunion with lots of kids of various ages. The staff was very responsive to the very few minor issues that we had and showed up right away. It was clean and the living spaces were plenty large to accommodate all of us.

This home was amazing!

We had a few small issues but every time I sent a message to the staff, they replied quickly and these “small” issues were quickly resolved! The house is amazing and has something to do for everyone! The movie theatre was unbelievable!! Highly recommend this home! We had an amazing time!!

Rough start

Nightmare first several days... Started about 12 hrs before arrival when we were informed original property we booked was unavailable due to a plumbing issue. But that an "upgrade" property would be provided. The replacement property was only an upgrade in the sense that it had 1 additional bedroom (that we didnt need). Otherwise the home was a definite down grade.... many years older, worse/different resort, dirty carpets and very beat up in general. It appears to be a potential "overflow" house based on condition and short notice availability. Would have appreciated some honesty about definition of "upgrade" and a simply reply that they would look for a home in similar area/condition as the one we originally booked. As a result of conditions we requested to be moved to a property in the original resort we were planned to stay in and were eventually granted another replacement 3 days into our trip. We were told the new home would be ready at 4pm, but once we arrived discovered that home had been very poorly treated by previous guests so the cleaning took an additional 3 hrs! Missed our dinner reservations and had to sit in the car with kids nearby for 3 hrs. The new house was much cleaner and met our needs for location but the pool water was GREEN from previous guests putting dish-soap in the pool for a bubble party...!? Customer service was responsive to sending pool tech out but they were unable to clean it and ultimately had to put so many chemicals in that the the pool was unusable for the entirety of our stay - kids were super disappointed.

Overall went well

Overall everything at this house was great. Minus the couches. We couldn’t get comfortable. Also, recliners would have been nice. Our pool at our other rental wouldn’t heat the entire week which was unfortunate. Overall, this house was great and our kids loved it.

My Daughter’s Sweet 16 Getaway

We arrived at the house and was truly amazed it was clean and beyond beautiful it was exactly as it is in the pictures it was a surprise for my Daughter so she was really amazed it was my Daughter and her 3 friends and they where amazed it was also my 7year old son and he was amazed as well it was really something there to suit everyone’s interest it was really something for everyone to do I can not Emphasize enough how great the house was the only one minor minor problem we had was the internet would not stay connected but they had someone out there immediately the property manager and all parties involved where just amazing we are more then thankful and we really look forward to staying in one of these homes again

Amazing!!!

This was hands down the best place we’ve ever rented!!! The house is everything exactly in the pictures and more. It’s brand new! It’s one block from the club house. It’s about 20 min from Disney but it doesn’t even seem that long. It’s nice to stay on Disney property but if you have a large family or group there is absolutely no place better than to stay here. We had a group of 10 and there were still 2 empty rooms. The arcade room, movie room and themed bedrooms were amazing!!! And having a private pool and hot tub when we got back from the parks was perfect. We can’t wait to go back.

Great house

This house is gorgeous! Full of amenities, close to all the parks and stores. It's best to rent a car to get around, but totally worth being able to come and go as you please. The resort grounds are lovely and having access to the Solara clubhouse was perfect!

Great for big groups

There was nothing this property did not have! We were a very large group and there were NO complaints! The theater room is awesome and the pool was devine!
