We really enjoyed our stay for the weekend. What a beautiful home & gardens. Very comfortable beds & good quality towels. If I had to pick something that I was a bit disappointed in would be [not a huge deal because luckily I took my own] but there we no condiments & crockery was a little dirty.
We would definitely stay again.
Great location, slightly disappointing attention to detail
Overall a lovely stay with a group of 6 women. The location of the property is excellent, just a very short walk to the lower entrance gate of the MtTomah gardens which were in full bloom with fields of daffodils, stunning Waratahs and a miriade of other proteas and plants from all over the world. However we were a little disappointed with the attention to detail in the property, particularly as the price is expensive, for a 3 night stay. The heater in the lounge room was not working, the dishwasher only cleaned the lower shelf, no paper towels or gladwrap , some soap dispensers not filled and you needed to bring your own wood. Thank you for the first night supply. I did contact the manager who was very polite and indicated they knew of some of the problems. Overall a great stay but at this price we were a little disappointed.
Perhaps if you stay in the warmer months the problems we encountered would not have arisen. We arrived Saturday afternoon in August on a very cold weekend to find that there was only enough wood for one night's burning and we were booked for the whole weekend. There were 2 oil heaters in the family however one didn't work so when the wood was gone you had 7 adults standing around one heater. No curtains on the windows to keep the cold out either. Wood did finally arrive on the Sunday in time for the caretaker to also clean the bbq for us as it had been left in a filthy state and then to actually find after he had left that the burners were rusted through and collapsed!! It is a beautiful spot but for us we were very disappointed and cold.

Website & previous Manager
The website needs to be upgraded. There are so many different versions that it gets confusing for people that have been there before. You do not know what is included. The previous manager was very hard to contact and the home a way people kept referring us to that person for information. New Manager very helpful.

We have stayed here before it was taken over by Stayz and enjoyed it every time.This year we were not informed of the change and not informed on how to access th e property.We turned up at the Botanical Gardens to pick up the key to be told they no longer handled it.Staff there contacted Wendy and we were told the pin etc..On arrival at t he lodge we discovered no drapes on the expansive glass windows in living room beautiful view but the option to close drapes to keep heat in at night is important as it is very cold and no window coverings enables heat to escape!The dishwasher flooded the kitchen and t he bbq ran out of gas with no refill bottle in sight. Loud banging in roof cavity which leads to poor sleep a note had been left by a previous holiday maker suggesting what it w was but obviously nothing had been done about it.On Saturday night went to use a pot to cook with to discover that it was coated in baked on porridgeDISGUSTING!The fact that we are no longer able to access the gardens out of hours was extremely disappointing and t he fact that we had not been informed about the change made our stay at the lodge even more disappointing.We used to rave about our time spent here but unfortunately things have changed and not for the better.Overall extremely dissapointing
I’m very disappointed to see that our service was below your expectations.
At the past, when you stay at Jungle lodge, it required the guests to bring their own linens and towels, Now we have improved our services to provide all amenities ( including all lines and towels)
Sorry about the dishwasher broken down. we didn't expected it happen We have send the maintenance people to fix straight away.
