The cabin was wonderful, it had everything we needed and was well stocked. The check in process was very easy. The drive to Yellowstone was easy the neighborhood was quite.
We came from Michigan to visit Yellowstone and Grand Tetons and to see Idaho. Cabin was clean/cozy and lots of room for four people. We loved Big springs and Mesa Falls in Idaho and did the dinner theater at Yellowstone Playhouse. So glad I found this location to stay.
The cabin was conveniently located with West Yellowstone 30 minutes away, a grocery store in town, and several Idaho state parks close by. The host was responsive, and directions/instructions were clear and accurate. The property was well stocked and a great place to relax after lots of driving.Â
This was our home away from home for 7 days. This house sits in a very nice quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed nightly walks we also brought our sons bike, some campfires and just sitting outside. So peaceful but yet only 30 minutes from West Yellowstone entrance. The house is so cute inside and has plenty of space for everyone to be together and have there own space just like at home. There were games and all the kitchen appliances you need to help you feel right at home. The owner was very helpful since day one of us booking. She gave tips for stops and even gave us a heads up before we left about road closures. This is our place to stay next time we visit Yellowstone! You will love it!
Iâd highly recommend staying here. Communication with the property owner was excellent! Easy on/off Rt.20 and a straight shot to West entrance of Yellowstone. It was quiet and has a river and trails 4mi down the road. Henry lake state park had absolutely stunning sunsets.
Cabin was great for our little family. Plenty of room for everyone upstairs. Kitchen was well stocked and there was a washing machine available for use as well. The property owners were easy to get a hold of and were available for any questions we had. Would recommend this cabin.
It was such a fun little cabin. We loved the location. However, everything was very dusty and we sneezed almost the whole time. Also, sheets on the loft futon beds were off so we had to make the beds, which wasnât too big of a deal.
Perfect for a getaway. Plenty of places nearby to go and see, and things to do. Henry's Lake, West Yellowstone, Yellowstone. Many more. Warm cozy cabin with space and comfortable sleeping accommodations. Host is informative, timely with questions, and cordial.
Cozy Cabin descriptives--serene, comfortable, beautiful surroundings and wonderful amenities. A kitchen stocked with coffee, creamer, sugar and other items previous guests graciously left in refrigerator such as mustard, mayonnaise, etc.Great place to take our side trips to Mesa Falls a wonderful recommendation by Kyra and then on into Yellowstone. Kyra immediately responded snd patient when we arrived in the dark and we couldn't find her place. But we did! Just recommend reflective house numbers or motion detection lights for late arrivals. Overall a wonderful experience! . Thank you Kyra for sharing your ties to the area.:)
The cabin was perfect en close to Yellowstone (30min). Also very quiet and Kyra helped us with every question. We loved every minute here; the birds, the nature, sun and schade around the house en no noise. We would love to come back for a longer stay then now. Thanks again for everything Kyra!!
The property was so beautiful and had a nice homey vibe to it. There was a lot of space indoors and outdoors. The kitchen was stocked with a bunch of food that you may need when you first check in. Overall, we had an amazing stay!
Loved this cabin! Super spacious for a family with three teenagers. Great location for exploring Yellowstone. Close enough to add the Tetons to the agenda as well.
Such a great cabin! It had everything we needed and was in a wonderful neighborhood, went for several walks and runs on the quiet roads and it was easy to get to Yellowstone as well! Would definitely stay again! Even saw a moose just outside the front door!
We really enjoyed our time here. It had enough space for our family of 6 and everything we needed in the kitchen and elsewhere. Host was friendly and communicated well. Thank you!
Neighbors were friendly and there was plenty of privacy to eat outdoors enjoying the firepit for smores and bbq burgers. The house/cabin was clean. The kitchen had more than enough supplies. It was a great experience. My huband and me and 3 of our adult grandchildren enjoyed it
verymuch!
Our stay at this cabin near Yellowstone National Park was an absolute delight. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this spot was designed with families in mind.
Family-Friendly Features (5/5): The large playroom with a sleep area for kids was a game-changer. The kids loved having their own space to play and unwind after a day of adventure. Itâs a fantastic setup for families who need a bit of extra room to spread out and relax.
Kitchen and Amenities (4.5/5): The kitchen was impressively well-stocked, making meal preparation a breeze. We appreciated having a washer and dryer on-siteâso convenient for dealing with all those muddy hiking clothes. Extras like camp chairs, roasting sticks, and a fire pit added a touch of fun and made our evenings by the fire truly memorable.
Outdoor Space (5/5): The cabinâs surroundings were beautifully designed for relaxation and enjoyment. We loved the picnic tables and the shaded trees that created a serene outdoor environment. The nearby Henry's Fork River was a highlightâbeing able to wade in the cool, refreshing waters was a perfect way to cool off and enjoy nature.
Proximity to Yellowstone (4.5/5): At just a 30-minute drive to the park entrance, the location was very convenient. It struck the perfect balance between being close enough to explore Yellowstone easily and distant enough to provide a peaceful retreat.
Overall Experience (5/5): This cabin exceeded our expectations. It offered all the comforts of home with added touches
My boyfriend and I and my best friend and her husband stayed in this lovely place. This was my first time seeing Yellowstone. It comes stocked with everything you'll need except food. This place is great for a family too. The host Kyra has a wealth of knowledge of everything around the area, so make sure to ask. When I had questions she answered them promptly. When we come up this way again I will definitely rent this place again.
Description was spot on. Except for a few hiccups at the start, which were addressed right away, the stay was nice. You had everything you would need there. Very clean and homely . Wasnât too far from west Yellowstone and only a mile from grocery store. Lots of sights near. Will stay again when know the area,
This property belonged to the Philipson family from idaho falls. After having a mobile home on the property for 40 years, we finally built a cabin on this site. We annually see moose walking through our yard. Besides sightseeing, our favorite activity is 4 wheeling on the national forest trails. 4 wheelers are available to rent in several locations to insure they are jetted for the altitude!
My grandfather bought this property when they opened up the area for land purchase. He chose this location due to it being on a maintained road, yet not on the main road where the traffic is loud.
We are about a mile from the snake river and public docks. Big Springs is approx. 3 miles east. As a kid, I always enjoyed walking to Macks Inn for ice cream. We have a driveway on Morrison St. and Cascade Ave. for ease in parking multiple vehicles.
