Confortable et se sent comme à la maison

Cette charmante maison paisible est située sur 10 hectares pittoresques situés à 4 miles du coeur de Cooperstown. 3 chambres et 2 salles de bains peuvent accueillir confortablement jusqu'à six personnes.

La chambre principale est située au deuxième étage et comprend un lit king size, une télévision à écran plat et de belles vues. Une chambre supplémentaire au dernier étage comprend un lit double et une troisième chambre est située au rez-de-chaussée avec un lit queen-size. Il y a deux salles de bains - une au niveau principal avec baignoire / douche et une au deuxième étage avec douche.

Le salon au niveau principal comprend une télévision connectée avec câble et DVD. La cuisine et la salle à manger à aire ouverte sont dotées de plafonds voûtés et de poutres apparentes. Un loft confortable, avec coin lecture et accents antiques, donne sur la cuisine. Il y a des planchers de bois franc dans toute la maison.

Un porche arrière blindé juste à côté de la salle à manger comprend une table et des chaises pour manger en plein air, ainsi qu'un canapé confortable pour se détendre et écouter les sons de la nature et du ruisseau à proximité. L'avant de la maison a un porche spacieux avec deux chaises à bascule, parfait pour profiter d'un café du matin avec vue sur les montagnes majestueuses et une pittoresque vallée à feuilles persistantes.

Idéalement situé à environ 10 minutes de Dreams Park, facilement accessible de la rue principale de Cooperstown, du Farmers Museum, du Baseball Hall of Fame, du Clark Sports Centre, du Fly Creek Cider Mill à proximité, de la brasserie Ommegang et de nombreux autres lieux d'intérêt.

This was a wonderful house. It was very nicely prepared for our arrival, including a nice welcome gift from the owner and plenty of info and guides about the area. Very clean and everything was in excellent condition. The house is very accessible to downtown Cooperstown (less than 10 minutes). The owner was responsive with answers to questions leading up to our arrival and during our stay. He also offered to extend our check out time by several hours, though ultimately we didn't need that. I'd highly recommend this property.

Porch Time

The property was fantastic! The screened-in porch was the highlight for us — perfect for morning coffee and late-night drinks and conversations. The bedrooms were comfortable, and having two full bathrooms made things easy for our group. Access to the washer and dryer was a huge plus during our stay. We also made good use of the gas grill, and the kitchen was fully stocked with every utensil we could need — a big benefit when cooking meals together. Check in process was great and Greg was very proactive with any issues we had. The one being wifi, which was quickly resolved by resetting per his prompt text reply. Overall, I’d come back over and over again. Highly recommend!

Omgoodness not enough wonderful things could be mentioned of our stay! Gregory is an incredible host, from the moment you arrive! We had a wonderful gift basket filled with a Cooperstown hat and post cards, doggie bags to clean up, and even a bone and stuffie for our furry friend! The home is absolutely perfect for our week at Cooperstown! It was comfortable enough to sleep 3 couples, along with enough room to hang out and have your own space. It terms of location to Dreams Park and downtown, it was a 12- minute drive through the very rolling hills of NY! Easy peasy commute to Dreams for our son’s games and close enough to come back in between to check on our dog. Kitchen, bath, laundry and linens were well equipped you don’t need to bring a thing from home! If you have any issues, Gregory is super responsive to your messages. We definitely plan to come back and visit again!!! Cooperstown is truly an amazing town, the history, the baseball, the people here, just all of it! And thanks to Gregory for making our first week long vacation in a long time, one to remember!!!

Well kept property

This was our third stay. The house is comfortably furnished and has a nice screened porch in back. The kitchen is well equipped and there is nice dishware. The Wi-Fi and TV reception were excellent.

Glimmerglass

We were in Cooperstown for the wonderful Glimmerglass Festival and to enjoy the countryside around Otsego (Glimmerglass) Lake. The house is located outside the town but close enough to take advantage of all that Cooperstown has to offer. The hosts were great and super responsive. We really enjoyed the screened-in back porch, where our dog intently watched the rabbits. Cars drive very fast on the road in front of the house, but it is not a very busy road. The large kitchen and comfortable beds also enhanced our stay.

Perfect Dreams Park spot

This house is perfect if you’re doing a week at Dreams Park! 13 minutes to the park, 8 minutes to downtown, and easy to access everything. The owners are so kind and thoughtful, and even waited up for us to arrive at night in a thunderstorm to make sure we got into the house safely. The house has a great covered sunroom to sit and enjoy all the lush greenery and watch deer and bunnies that came to the house. Lovely property, highly recommend.

Lovely home, bucolic location

This was a repeat stay while we attended the Glimmerglass opera festival. The house was immaculate, and we were greeted with a bottle of sparkling wine and a large assortment of cheeses. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is a screened porch to enjoy. We plan to return next year.

Unique, Beautiful Farmhouse

Great place to relax. House is beautifully decorated with everything you would want. The owner had it fully stocked with anything and everything you would need for your stay plus more. Enjoyed the country atmosphere away from busy town. Especially loved the huge kitchen area and the back screened in porch. Thank you Gregory!

Perfect no frills house rental for small family

Very clean and very cute country ambiance. Friendly and good communication w owner/manager. Easy access. Screened in porch was lovely. Even though property is on road it is a country road and quiet. Kitchen was stocked w everything needed to feed family. Large prep areas and two sinks which I never knew would be so helpful. Mattresses excellent. Good assortment of pillows. A few improvements are typical things you’d find in an older home - doors might stick due to weather and upstairs shower needs better water pressure but there is plenty of hot water. Good linens and towels. Thank you!

Wonderful week in Cooperstown, NY

From the moment we drove up the driveway and saw the adorable farm house, we knew we'd made the right choice! There was a welcoming gift on the table and the house had everything we needed. My favorite part of the home is the kitchen and the back screened in porch. The kitchen has a vaulted ceiling with old wood beams and a nice workable island. The back porch was the perfect spot for coffee in the mornings. The location is great too! You can be at Dreamspark in about 12-15 minutes and about the same to downtown. I will recommend this listing to my other baseball friends and family!!!

Peaceful, clean and close to everything!

This stay goes down as the best overall VRBO experience my family and I have had! Greg was such an accommodating, communicative, helpful and kind host; and the property is even more beautiful than the pictures! It sits on a beautiful piece of land with gorgeous country views that can be enjoyed from both the front and back porches, boasts a well-appointed kitchen, offers very clean and comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms, and is so close to all the attractions the Cooperstown area offers with accessibility to Downtown, the HOF, lake and nearby state parks all within 15 minutes or less. If you're looking to visit Cooperstown, you can't beat this house. Huge thanks to Greg and Tom for their hospitality and helpfulness; we'll be back!
