We absolutely enjoyed our stay. The comfort and nest like accommodations were exactly what was needed after a week of Mayo visits. Will definitely stay again and again. Great place!!!
You can walk to clinicrestaurants
Nice place, nice stay. Complimentary snacks and water offered were nowhere in site. The mattress is not super comfortable and the small couch to watch tv was very hard.
The property was clean. Apartment was spacious. Be aware that this is on the upper level of a house, it was way too hot for me and there was no way to adjust it. The bed was also super uncomfortable, but if you like memory foam this is the place for you.
Cute, clean and updated little apartment. The 4 block walk to Mayo campus was easy and convenient. But my stay coincided with some single digit temps so there were a couple of pretty brisk walks. As a previous guest commented, the stairs are steep and difficult with big suitcase.
We were traveling for a Mayo appointment and dealing with an unknowing health issue alone is stressful enough. Add in appointment date changes and having to change flights and all that traveling entails - I was overwhelmed, stressed and exhausted. When our appointment date changed the host not only cancelled our first reservation but also ensured we had a similar place to stay since our original booking was taken for the timeframe we changed to. They got us rebooked. Also when we got to leave earlier than expected they were responsive, quick, and provided a fair solution. The rental spot was probably the only easy part of our journey. And it made a huge difference. The place itself was clean, charming and conveniently near Mayo. Having a kitchen space and pots/pans was a big win for us.
My purpose for staying in Rochester was for Appointments at Mayo Clinic. This was a perfect location for walking to the appointments. I didn't have to deal with parking by the clinic as it was a 6 minute walk. I cooked most of my own meals but there were several eating options within walking distance if you so choose to eat out. The apartment was perfect for one person. It had all I needed. There were also a few churches within walking distance as well. I would just like to let others know that if you rent this unit it is on the second floor with no elevator so don't do what I did an pack one big suitcase! I would pack a couple smaller bags to make it easier to carry them up the stairs.
