Niché sur près de deux hectares de bonheur boisé est l'une des rares maisons sur le territoire qui a autant de vie à l'extérieur que de vie à l'intérieur!

Le porche accueillant trois saisons mène à une zone de foyer personnalisé, une zone de pont supérieur avec barbecue à gaz et table de pique-nique en bois, une terrasse inférieure avec véranda avec moustiquaire meublée d'un canapé sectionnel extérieur et le HOT TUB! La vue boisée fournit le fond parfait pour la grande baignoire, qui peut accueillir 6-8.

À l'intérieur, vous trouverez une cuisine bien équipée reliée à la grande salle confortable et chaleureuse qui est complètement entourée de fenêtres et comprend une cheminée et une télévision à grand écran. Les trois chambres comprennent une chambre avec lits superposés pour enfants avec une couchette simple-simple et double-double (six couchages), une suite parentale privée avec une grande baie vitrée (ce qui en fait l'endroit idéal pour lire le livre parfait), et une troisième chambre qui sert comme deuxième chambre familiale avec canapé-lit et télévision grand écran. Deux des salles de bains comprennent une douche et un grand bain à remous!

La maison est à environ un mile du Owners Club (salle de fitness, piscines intérieure et extérieure, terrains de basket-ball, courts de tennis, salle de jeux, etc.), des écuries de Shenandoah, du lac de Galena et du parcours de golf général, ce qui en fait l'endroit idéal dans le territoire. Centre-ville historique de Galena et Chestnut Mountain (pour le ski d'hiver), sont à seulement dix minutes!

Perfect for a girls weekend

The house was very comfortable. Lots of beautiful outdoor space. The living room and kitchen are one open space making it great for everyone to hang out in the same room.

Perfect Girls Weekend

This house was perfect for our girls get away. With the kitchen and living room an open concept everyone was able to hang out together. Beds were very comfy and the surrounding area was just beautiful. LOTS of awesome outside space!

Nice place for great memories

We had a great time at this cabin! We got everything we needed, beautiful views, clean, truly cozy and inviting, nice trail and enjoy the outdoor jacuzzi and fire pit. Sally was always available to answer any questions promptly. We took great memories with us!

Peaceful Retreat

We had a half of week between school ending and summer camp starting so we decided to get away with our 5 year old twins. The back deck was perfection. We loved the hot tub, back deck, and fire pit and the kids adored the pool at the owners club. Would definitely stay again.

Calming Forest Retreat

The home was comfortable and private, secluded in the woods. The amenities were as listed, and generous. We enjoyed the hot tub, had some fires in the fire pit outside, and had cocktails on the porch in the woods. Galena is minutes away and the perfect tourist town. We felt our stay was in a home away from home! We would consider staying again. Thanks to our hosts!

Better than I imagined!

Paul and Sally’s property is absolutely stunning. The listing photos do not do the scenery justice. We stayed here for my sister’s bachelorette party, and it was absolutely perfect! The house is only a short drive from downtown Galena, which is definitely a place you want to visit! The “treehouse” scenery made our stay even more magical. Paul and Sally were very quick with their communication and just as kind as could be. Thank you both for such a wonderful stay!

Recent retirees outing to Galena

This home is very comfortable and welcoming in layout and provides all the comforts of home. The "bunk room", although close in size, was such fun for late night conversations and giggles. Kitchen is well equipped and table was more than adequate for our group of six to do craft projects, play games, and just share stories of recent travels. Hot tub was a welcome relief after daily outing. Another successful trip to Galena Territories and this rental home is perfect. Thanks for sharing your home.

Nice family gathering

This was a nice location to have a family get together. We had six adults and 4 little ones under 5 and two dogs. It was comfortable and homey. Very decorative so a little watchful with little hands. Nice hot tub to enjoy even in the rain. We did do a little cleaning of the deck due to weather but enjoyable. If visiting, bring bug spray and this area has lots of trees. We do enjoy the territory with the trails and center to enjoy. Nice farmers market as well. Will go back again.

Stayed for a girls weekend. The property suited our needs, but could use some updating and repair. Decking had nail heads exposed, one toilet was leaking, we could not get the radio or tv to work..lots of remote controls..and some areas with visible dust. The property owners, however, were lovely, and answered all inquiries promptly. Despite the cosmetic concerns, our stay was great, and sleeping arrangements were perfect. Enjoyed coffee in the lower screened in patio.

Cleanliness

The location of the property was amazing. The cleanliness of the house was horrific. There were cobwebs on the walls, the carpet was filthy, and the couch had stains. The towel rack in master was broken. The abundance of decorations and plants was distracting. We love Galena and and the territory, but this was not one of the better homes we have stayed in. For the money paid, this was unsatisfactory.

Excellent Christmas Gathering Place

My girlfriend, her mother, and my parents (and our dog!) stayed here for a few days around Christmas. The kitchen and living room were a perfect size for making dinners and spending time together. The view was beautiful, and there was also plenty of entertainment inside (plenty of TV channels - we even caught the best Christmas movie ever, Die Hard). My fiance and I braved the cold to use the hot tub each night, but we didn't use the firepit or grill. There seemed to be plenty of room to use that. Plenty of cooking equipment and the towels, bedding, etc. that we needed. It was the perfect size for us to spend time together but also have some privacy. Also very close to Galena, which was fun to visit as a family. I actually proposed on Christmas morning out on the deck, and couldn't have asked for a better venue. Thanks for the wonderful memories!

PERFECT WEEKEND GETAWAY!

Talisman Treehouse truly lives up to it's name! The views throughout the house, especially from the deck, give you a sense of being nestled amongst the beauty of Eagle Ridge. The house was perfect for our party of 4. We hit the hot tub twice a day and were sure to utilize EVERY aspect of the house. The lower screened in porch was super cozy, especially with the LED lights plugged in. From the fire pit to the gas grill, everything was perfect. The kitchen had anything and everything which was needed and the coziness of the living room was super welcoming. The wildlife surrounding the house gave us a little bit of a bonus, as well. Deer , turkeys and the bald eagle were all a blast to witness! A special thanks goes out to the Petersens who truly were gracious hosts. From the communication to all the amenities, they are true professionals! Thank you and we look forward to spending another beautiful weekend at the Talisman Treehouse!

Fun in the Treehouse

Our girls trip was a ton of fun in the Talisman Treehouse. Sitting in the living room every morning, drinking our coffee and catching up very much felt like we were REALLY in a treehouse. WHAT A VIEW! The accommodations were all very nice! Hot water and good water pressure were a plus in our book! My favorite spot was outside by the fire pit. Both day and night! The driveway is quite steep. One member of our party parked facing down on the incline. When we all left to go to the town the next day her car started but could not back up the steep hill. Eventually died and we had to contact roadside assistance as at first glance it seemed that the battery or possibly alternator were causing us problems. Five hours later we learned that although she normally drives her car a good 30 miles past Empty, due to parking on the incline and being low on gas she simply needed to refuel. LOL! It was a good memory maker for sure!

Comfortable Relaxing Stay

This was a truly a wonderful home to stay in! My husband and I (and our fur child) stayed here for a long weekend, and it was very hard to leave when we had to. The home is beautifully decorated and VERY CLEAN (with all the decorating, you would expect a lot of dust, but I saw NONE!). There is plenty of room and many areas for relaxation--especially the large hot tub. It is in a private, very wooded setting. I say private, meaning you won't encounter other humans, but you may encounter many bugs. It was humid and hot when we were there which probably made the bug situation worse than typical days, but it did put a damper on our outside time. The owners do provide bug sprays and citronella candles, but we did not want to deal with that all the time. As other reviewers said, the driveway is very steep and there are stairs going down to the front entrance. There are also various levels in the home and the backyard decking that involve some stairs. We didn't get to spend much time at the owners club, but it sure is nice. Fantastic, large outdoor pool area that overlooks the area, an indoor pool and many options inside if the weather is bad. The Galena territory and Galena area is very beautiful--many rolling hills and postcard-like scenery. Driving a convertible around here on a warm spring or summer day would be magical. And Downtown Galena is a must-see quaint area--lots to see and eat! We recommend the trolley tour to get an overview of the area and learn more about the history--very interesting! Overall it was a wonderful stay and the owners were very easy and friendly to work with. Thank you!
