My family of 4 had a very nice stay at this property located in a quiet neighborhood located about a 20 min bus ride from the city center (Uber is also a readily available transportation option). The property owner is very friendly and responsive and I'd recommend this property to anyone looking for comfortable stay on the outskirts of Zurich.

We absolutely loved our stay at Luegete for two weeks! The check in process was easy, the location fantastic! The hosts very friendly, even baked us a bread. The apartment was clean, updated, the view was amazing! Close to shopping centre and just a bus ride to city centre! Also there are beautiful walking trails nearby. Everything was above our expectations! We highly recommend this place!

Great location & perfect apartment

We were in town for the World U18 Women's Ice Hockey Tournament and wanted a place in Zurich to tour the city in between games. The location is perfect in a quiet neighborhood close to shops for food shopping. Easy 15-minute ride to the city. House was quiet and very accommodating for what we needed. Great hosts.

Large apartment with great views!

Very nice apartment with large rooms and lovely views of Lake Zürich, the city and mountains. We had everything we needed and were very comfortable. White noise or earplugs could be helpful if you aren’t an early riser or used to apartment living. Location is convenient to bus stop and grocery stores. Hosts were very helpful and even brought us a loaf of delicious, healthy homemade bread!

Wonderful condo with comfortable king size beds. Beautiful views. There is no AC but we expected it based on the description. Fans were provided for every room. Jurg is an amazing host - thank you for your hospitality and for delicious bread you baked forbour family!

Bad checkout experience

The place was comfortable and clean and all of the amenities were as advertised. However, the whole experience was soured by the host at check out. Addmittedly, we were half an hour late for check out (10:30 vs 10 AM), and we felt we were getting kicked out of the place. Hosts (they live upstairs) came in at 10:20 and started cleaning the apartment while we were trying to pack everything up and leave. Made it an extremely awkward and unpleasant experience. In this awkward rush, my wife forgot the water bottles in the fridge (which we needed for the hot day ahead), When she went back to get it after 5 min, she was told it was already thrown away. they also charged us 90 CHF for a stain on the bedsheet that would easily come off by the wash cycle. Simple bleach would have taken care of it on a white sheet. we were 2 adults, 1 13 year old and one 4 year old. We only used the place to sleep and spent our days outside exploring.

We are pleased to hear that you found our property comfortable, clean, and as advertised. It is our goal to provide a welcoming and enjoyable environment for all our guests. However, we would like to address some concerns regarding your stay: We understand that there may have been a misunderstanding regarding the check-out time. Our check-out times are in place to allow us the necessary time for cleaning and preparing the property for the next guests, our cleaner had to wait in the door for approximately one hour for you to pack & leave. Additionally, we were disappointed that there were disturbances during your stay, particularly with regard to high noise levels. We have quiet hours in place to ensure a peaceful environment for all guests, and these were not observed. We had complains from other guests staying at the property regarding noise being made until 3am every single day of your stay. We take this matter seriously as we strive to create a comfortable atmosphere for everyone staying at our property. Regarding the stain on the bedsheet, we want to clarify our policy for handling damages. The particular stain required special attention, and it was not easily removable with a regular wash cycle or bleaching. As a result, we had to charge a fee to cover the cost of addressing this issue. Please know that we aim to be fair and transparent with our guests when it comes to such matters. We also understand the importance of items left behind, and we regret that your water bottles were inadvertently left in the fridge, but regrettably our cleaner had put them away by the time you came back for them. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Once again, thank you for choosing our property for your stay. We appreciate your feedback and take it seriously as we continuously strive to improve our services.

Unser Aufenthalt war top. Das Appartment ist mit vielen Annehmlichkeiten ausgestattet und sehr geräumig und hell. Die Lage ist exzellent am Waldrand mit vielen Wandermöglichkeiten und Laufstecken, in der Nähe eines Einkaufszentrums und dem öffentlichen Nahverkehr (alles fußläufig erreichbar). Die Aussicht auf Zürich und den Zürichsee ist unbezahlbar. WiFi ist super und der Zugang zum Haus und zur Wohnung elektronisch gesichert. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und aufmerksam. Das Auto konnte bequem auf dem hauseigenen Parkplatz abgestellt werden (videoüberwacht). Wir können das Appartment uneingeschränkt empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder

We had a wonderful experience staying at this property for about 2 months. There were 6 of us in the 3 bedroom apartment, and it was spacious enough for all of us. The location is quiet at night while being close to the city center and many markets. The property has a beautiful view of Lake Zurich, and is very close to hiking trails, a fun stream to explore and a large children’s playground. The owner Jurg was very helpful and responsive to any requests, and overall it was a very positive experience. We would absolutely recommend this property to anybody looking to stay in Zurich, especially families with young kids.

Schöner Aufenthalt in Zürich

Die Wohnung ist sehr schön und selbst für 4 Erwachsene und 3 Kinder groß genug. Die Lage am Waldrand ist toll. Mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln kommt man schnell und problemlos in die Innenstadt. Der Kontakt zu den Vermietern war freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Valeria is a multidisciplinary artist. All this combined reflects in the attention to details and effort we put to keep the apartment clean and tidy for our guest as well beautiful decorated.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Witikon in District 7, is one of the most exclusive neighbourhoods in Zurich at the east side of the Lake, better known as the Golden Coast, because the sun reaches all year long. The Apartment It’s on a very quiet location in a blind street. The location is perfect, just about 20 min from the city center if you take the bus, which stop is 250 meters away, but if you prefer driving, we offer a free parking.

Close we have the Zurich Zoo and the Dolder Bath & Ice Skating. If you like jogging the woods are just at the end of the street and if you have kids there is playground 300 meters away on the woods. The supermarket is on a shopping mall 300 meters away from the house.

The east side of the lake offers several distractions if you like art and culture, close is The Kunsthaus (Art Museum), The Bellerive Museum, The Tram Museum, The Corbusier House, The China Garden, the Opera House and many other places you can visit.

Perfect location, while we are located on the city of Zurich, we are far enough from the center to make it a quiet place but close enough to be there in 20 minutes. Supermarket, kids playground and the forest are just at 300 meters away.
