If you are a family on a budget, love outdoors so you spend most of your time exploring, this is a great place at a great price. Clean, some kitchen facilities to make light meals. The pool is amazing and games room for the kids. Not heaps of room when you are all in but that doesnât matter as you just need somewhere to shower and sleep. Lisa is very good to deal with, thanks
It was such a relaxing location to stay.
I felt like I was transported to a tropical oasis.
The resort is so well designed to capture the natural beauty of Port Douglas.
Short walk to a quiet stroll on the beach.
The food at the resort restaurant is well priced and delicious. I didnât bother going into town to compete with the holiday crowds and waiting for a table.
Communication with the owner was easy and helpful.
I would definitely stay there again.
Very clean but listing is misleading. Single room not one bedroom, no kitchen, no dining area, ...
The room was very clean and well presented. However I think the listing is misleading. It is a single room, not one bedroom - bed, sofa bed and trundle all in same room. There is no kitchen - motel room facilities only and âkitchen â sink is one half of double vanity in bathroom, fridge is a bar fridge only. âDining areaâ is the fold out table from back of wardrobe which fits in the same room as everything else! There is no internet in the room - only available poolside, in restaurant or lobby. Washing machine and clothes dryer are down two flights of stairs and along a corridor. There are 3 washing machines and dryers for all resort guests at $5 load each. Gym/fitness facilities are available at $5/person/day, not $5 deposit for access key as I was told by property owner. There is no coffee maker but you can buy coffee from the coffee cart in foyer. Staff varied greatly in friendliness - some were quite rude once they knew you were staying in a private room. Port Douglas is fabulous holiday destination but we are very unlikely to stay at this resort again.
No complaints; no raves. 3rd floor, but near an elevator. Room was nice and spacious. Additional charge to use facilities at the resort, but that's OK. Parking was at a premium, but we'd always eventually find a space.
Pros - The Ramada and itâs staff are very nice and helpful in the less than average circumstances we have faced while staying here
Pool area is great, facilities at the hotel are great.
Cons - Toilet leaked from the minute we got here, used all our towels on the floor as we had TOILET water everywhere
Took the owner 2 days to fix it, not responsive to my communication. No phone number on listing which is ridiculous if something goes wrong
The DELUXE bed as advertised is far from DELUXE. Itâs very uncomfortable and you can feel the springs in the bed
Cleanliness- very poor
Think twice when you see the large fee for cleaning. This place hasnât been cleaning properly for months. Sent owner (Lisa) photos and once again she has been unresponsive
I wouldnât recommend this accommodation to anyone.
Thereâs plenty of better and other options to choose from.
A better option would be to go directly through the hotel, at least they can help you unlike this owner.

Quiet and clean. Full use of resort facilities.
A quiet stay in a clean tidy room.
Full use of resort facilities except the gym. No free internet except in hotel foyer. Town is nearly 4 km away so you need a vehicle or take the hotel shuttle or a bike.
You can book any tour activities at the reception.
Small fridge and microwave in room. King size bed. Easy access to lift and carpark. Shower is over the bath so you need to be able to step in and out over the bath rim. Toilet is leaking water from cistern into bowl but thatâs easily fixed as owner is notified. Entry is by card left in keysafe by the door, which may need to be activitated at reception if it doesnât work. Easily done. A reasonable price for a room at a resort.

Was great friendly and comfortable
Lisa was great and it was so easy, loved the place and suited what me and my partner wanted x thanks guys
The room was looking very old, bathroom needs attention very outdated and tap washers all need replacing. Shower head also need replacing and maybe more toilet paper could have been supplied as we were there for almost five days with two rolls between five of us but was still a good stay.
We loved our time here great value for money. Resort is a bit dated and a bit hard to find sun around the pool area. It's nearby to the four mile beach which is sensational long walk into the main street.
The room was very nice with lovely furnishings. I found the bed a bit hard on my back, although it was fine for my fellow guest. I somehow ended up with a large adhesive patch stuck to the heel of my foot that definitely didn't belong to either of us but was in the unit. The pool, dining area and other facilities of the resort are lovely.
A great value apartment in a nice resort- great facilities- pool, restaurant, bar. It's a bit out of town, so nice and quiet but a car is needed to get around. Owners were very easy to communicate with. A great holiday and I hope we can stay here again!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will go back again. We enjoyed the walk into town along the beach.i would recommend having a car if you want easier access when you want to go into the centre of Port Douglas & surrounding areas. The resort has most things you need with the beach, pool & restaurant, spa etc.
Our room was nicely decorated and clean. However in desperate need of some new bed pillows. The ones in the room were hard and lumpy. Had to use the throw pillows instead
