This is the second time we stayed here my youngest and I my hubby and oldest have also stayed there another time and we have all said this is our favorite place to stay it’s clean convenient and Communication with the host is easy he responds quickly and professionallyWe hope to be able to book this one next time we travel down to that area

Everything was as promised. We had a nice stay. It was close enough for a walk to get something to eat or grab anything we forgot. It was pretty quiet.

We were in town for a baseball tournament and this place was great for a four or five day stay. Much better value than a hotel.

Overall it was a nice quiet area close to the beach. Owner was very responsive. Home was located 5 min drive to the beach and located near several amenities.

Beautiful house, has great A/C and responsive owner

This rental is spacious for two, a beautiful house inside and out, the owner is very quick to respond to any questions and any issues had were very quickly solved. So happy we booked here, 10/10 would recommend.

A good place to stay.

The place was clean, well equipped, spacious enough for 4 adults. Location was good for us as we visited family but the neighborhood was a bit noisy with trucks and trains. But all in all a good place to stay.

Loved this place!

We loved this cozy house. It was clean, comfortable and the location was fantastic. Short walk to downtown area and a 30-minute walk to the public beach (5-to-10-minute drive). We enjoyed the grill often. The area was safe and quiet. We would DEFINATELY stay here again.

This was a great experience with vrbo. I hope, I find place similar for my next trip.

It is a good place, nice neighborhood, quiet area. I even get feeling to live there definitely. I will encourage friends and family to do the same when travel around there.

Nice and basic property. A simple place to rest after spending days exploring. Neighborhood was quiet for our stay . Good distance to the beach and parking a plus too. Good communicative owner.

Great place for the Holiday

This place was perfect for us to stay in over Christmas. It’s a smaller home, but that’s exactly what we needed for my sister and I and our kids. The kitchen was huge to our surprise. It’s a great location because it’s close to everything you need and for us it was right down the road from our parents, which is what we wanted for the Holiday. Dogs were allowed which was a big plus for us. Check in is super easy and the owner is very fast to respond to messages. Would definitely recommend to a friend.

Beach Cottage

We loved the beach decor…..curtain starfish ties, shells, whale tail, rattan furniture and bathroom.However, the neighborhood seemed a bit sketchy with several vehicles in many of the yards. Then we were interrupted 3 times during our stay. Two times the police were doing a welfare check at the house (B) behind us which was very disconcerting. Police visited on a rainy night at 10. The second visit was during the day on Thursday morning and we gave police the owners name to contact . On Saturday night while watching tv , a car pulled up behind our car and stayed awhile until a women came out and was walking around the property. My husband came out because she never knocked and asked what she was doing. Again, she was looking for the back property. There was a urine smell which upon arrival, I tried to clean the bathroom floor, but to no avail. The towels looked worn and the shower had a half closure so when you showered, the water would come out on the floor. There were also several holes in the walls and ceiling where television and ceiling lights had been moved, but holes not patched. The air conditioner was set at 72 so you are not in control of the temperature and it got hot at times so luckily I turned the fans to high, closed all the blinds and this helped a little. Although location cannot be changed, it could be a really nice property with a little fixing up and attention to detail.

Animal Stench

This house is in a shady part of town, complete with overgrown weeds and bushes in the front yard. It's near 'The Tracks' and yes you can hear the train go by while inside the house with the windows shut. The key box is located way over on the side yard where the neighbor keeps large 2 dogs. Fun time trying to get at that lock box.My husband gets a merit badge for bravery. Good luck to all who attempt that. As soon as you open the door, the stench of animal urine hits you. Apparently, everyone likes to barricade their dogs in the kitchen because that's where the smell originates. Apparently The Liquid Funk is under the laminate flooring and has attached itself to the subfloor. Wiping the laminate floor does absolutely nothing. They did provide 4 different styles of air fresheners. Because perfumes will solve a sanitary issue with the flooring, right? We left within 20 minutes of arriving. The owner told me he would give me a full refund if I left a glowing, positive review. I told him "Hell to the NO". I contacted Vrbo for my FULL refund and I'm here to warn the rest of you. Unless you have zero sense of smell and have excellent self defense skills, keep walking! Better yet, run!!!!

Two words: smelly and unkept property

First, the property needs maintenance! Cut trees, grass and bushes! Or maybe update the photo to reflect the untidiness. The listing doesn't state that host lives behind home which is very misleading and disappointing. The entire property is highlighted as that is what you'll get; No backyard or real privacy. The home smelled like spoiled hot urine. I went out and purchased $15 of materials to mop, sanitize and literally boiled cleaner to get in the vents ! Old and worn towels; grateful to have brought my own. This was my first time using Vrbo so I'm not to user friendly with finding it out information so I was unaware of the no events for this home. I planned a small engagement dinner for 15 people in the backyard which I didn't know I didn't have access to until a day prior to check in. I would've took the time to find all the details as this was a last minute rental. When host came from backyard and notice the people, he said i had 30m to get everyone cleared out or he'll call the police. I explained I wasn't aware of the no event rule but the police still called. The police arrived and we over heard the host tell them, we were not rude or unruly and we were cleaning up. The police even told us, they were confused on why if everyone was leaving; the only folks left was the cleaning crew to ensure tidiness. The host came and said he probably won't cancel the reservations however while cleaning up and everyone had cleared out by 40m and he still canceled. Some people just don't like to see others happy and engaging in love. I truly hopes with the money made from the rental, the host can attempt to keep the property decent and smelling good!
