Rated sur Stayz et Airbnb comme 5 étoiles - Cette magnifique maison est nichée dans les collines verdoyantes de Mullumbimby Creek avec une vue imprenable sur la chaîne de Koonyum et la vallée ci-dessous. Il est parfait pour le rajeunissement ou le divertissement ou un peu des deux.

La maison a trois chambres à coucher, avec le 3e doublement comme une étude. La chambre principale a sa propre salle de bains avec une vue imprenable sur le jardin et la gamme. Sous un plafond cathédrale la vie est ouverte. Salon, salle à manger et cuisine du chef s'ouvrent sur deux grandes terrasses. Le premier pont couvert est parfait pour regarder le coucher du soleil et manger en plein air. La seconde est pour profiter du soleil avec la piscine d'eau salée à quelques pas. Par une nuit claire c'est l'endroit parfait pour observer les étoiles. Par une nuit fraîche, autour de la grande cheminée est l'endroit à être.

La propriété de 3 acres est entourée d'arbres et de jardins luxuriants et jouit d'une atmosphère très privée. Seulement quelques minutes du canton de Mullumbimby et des plages de Brunswick Heads ou 20 minutes pittoresques dans Byron Bay.

Mullumbimby a de merveilleux cafés, un restaurant thaïlandais et japonais et des marchés tous les vendredis. Les environs comptent de nombreuses plages immaculées, des parcs nationaux, des cascades et de superbes promenades. Un petit village sympathique avec tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour passer un bon moment.

Nous sommes à dix minutes du site du festival BluesFest / Boomerang et à vingt minutes du nouveau site Splendor in the Grass Festival.

Le transport depuis les aéroports peut être organisé en privé si nécessaire.

Les prix sont basés sur 4 adultes dans la maison avec l'étude doublant comme une troisième chambre double à un petit coût supplémentaire.

Julie’s home was magic! Stunning, comfy and spacious!

Everything from to pool to the bath tub to the decor to the added touches of new candles in every holder possible - Julie’s place did not disappoint! Outdoor spaces and gardens are amazing! Beds are comfy, views are stunning, kitchen easy, TV amazing, sound system fantastic! We just loved the space and worked so well for us.

Serendip experience

We had a wonderful week at Serendip. The house is very comfortable and has a lovely view over the nearby valley. It is perfectly situated to explore Mullumbimby and the surrounding area. Whilst the owners were staying in a cottage onsite with us, they were very discreet and we hardly knew they were there.

I wold not recommend this place.

The property was dirty and there was huge spiders living in two of the bedrooms. The mattresses were stained and one of the mattresses had mould. There was no fly screen on the main bathroom window.

Wonderful location and home! Julie and Andy are awesome hosts, extremely accommodating.

The pictured don’t do it justice. It’s a hidden gem in Mullum. A few moments drive to the town and to all the other sites. The home is warm and filled with light and air with a breathtaking view. A perfect escape !

Just perfect

We’d had the best stay at Serendip. Julie and Andy were excellent hosts, really responsive and took great care of us at checking etc. The property was just perfect for us. We stayed for about 2 1/2 weeks and had the most relaxing time. The pool is great for a morning swim and a cocktail hour paddle :) the glass and pebble area is great for a game of bocci. The absolute highlight is the cabana and various outdoor spaces where one can can hang out, relax and eat together. Our group of friends thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would love to come back! It’s a piece of paradise. Thank you!

Beautiful views and lovely, homely property

We had a lovely stay at Mullumbimby Creek and were very sad we had to leave. The home is exceptionally comfortable and well stocked and really feels homely. The location was great and very close to Mullumbimby. The view was absolutely stunning- the pictures don't really do it justice. We found this to be such a relaxing break - it was lovely.

Amazing

If you are looking at enjoying some down time & just relaxing, then Serendip is the place for you. It’s a beautiful house, full of interesting items, a beautiful garden with a wonderful veranda that you can sit & enjoy the valley views, listen to the birds & the hear the cow’s mooing. So peaceful & quiet. Wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you Julie. Our stay is one, we won’t forget.

Beautiful property and position

A beautiful, peaceful relaxing place with great views over valleys and across to hills. Surrounded by wonderful old gum trees and gardens with lots of birds. There are two great outdoor spaces - one with afternoon sun and one with morning. Great to watch the sunsets. The house is light and airy with lots of glass windows and doors so that you always have a feeling of being outdoors. Particularly perfect during Covid as it is best to stay away from busy tourist towns. Lots of great little towns and villages to visit and good restaurants - Three Blue Ducks at Ewingsdale and Harvest at Newrybar. National parks nearby and lots to do if you choose to do so. Would stay here again. Thanks Julie

Lovely little getaway!

My partner and I were looking for a change in scenery after staying at home for the last 4.5 months, and this place ticked all of our boxes! Julie and Andy have such a beautiful home, with many unique and personal touches. Being up in the hinterlands, the view from their outdoor seating was beautiful, not to mention the dog absolutely loved roaming around the property. The house came with everything you could ever need to feel comfortable - great BBQ and oven/stove, all the pots/pans/utensils, great fireplace with plenty of pre-chopped wood, and so much more. Julie and Andy were very accommodating as well, and allowed us to extend our stay another 3 nights. Many thanks to you both for sharing your lovely home :)

Beautiful bush sanctuary

Serendip is the perfect place to get away from everything. The eclectic house is full of beautiful art and homewares and will transport you to a place of tranquility and relaxation. We loved doing yoga on the deck, walking through the grounds, and reading next to the fireplace or just watching the sunset across the valley listening to the birds above and the cows below. During these strange times, it was the perfect place to get away while working from home. We highly recommend!

A wonderful escape in the Mullum hinterland

Serendip is a wonderful escape to unwind with complete privacy while being only 5 minutes to Mullumbimby township. Hang out on the deck with gorgeous view of the valley through the amazing garden - take a dip in the plunge pool or if it is windy, relax on the back deck and listen to the native birds. The house is delightfully quirky with objects on display from all over the world and very comfortable. The master bedroom is a treat with a sumptuous ensuite and deep bath. We loved the wood combustion fire in the lounge room for cool nights and the foxtel for a good movie. While advertised as dog friendly there is no fencing or lock up so just be mindful if booking with dogs. Its perfectly positioned to explore the local surrounds and just a moment to the Brunswick Head beaches - we absolutely loved it.

Tranquility and style

We had a gorgeous 9 night stay at Serendip. The house and especially the outdoor living area are an ideal place to relax and unwind. The house has everything you need and more. Plenty of quality cafes/food, shops, beaches all within picturesque 5 - 20 minute drives. Don't miss Mullumbimby Farmer's Market. Julie and Andrew were excellent hosts.

We stayed for 2 weeks. The house was amazing, a great place to relax. Large, airy living area and and sun deck for the afternoon sun. We stayed with our toddler and friends and found it ideal.

Serenity at Serendip

Aaaaah.....Serendip! An oasis of peace and tranquility in the hills of eclectic Mullumbimby. All the comforts of home with the luxury of a 5-star resort. We swam in the pool, explored the gorgeous gardens, cooked up a storm in the kitchen (often with herbs sourced from the garden), then in the evening retired to the deck, drink in hand, to watch the sun go down. Cooler nights would find us tucked up beside the raging fireplace, roasting marshmallows. We had the most amazing 2 weeks and quite simply, didn't want to leave. Serendip was the perfect base to explore the beautiful Byron Bay region - waterfalls, bushwalks, beaches, great shops, great food and great people - and the perfect place to rest after a day of adventuring. Andy and Julie were the perfect hosts, very respectful of our privacy but there to help if we needed anything. They should be enormously proud of what they have achieved at Serendip. We hope to return one day!

Excellence in the rainforest- just stunning

Second time for us staying at Serendip. The property is set among lush gardens with a magnificent view of a valley through the rainforest. The interior of the property is beautifully designed. Walking distance to Mullumbimby though we opted to take a taxi back ($15). Cannot rate highly enough and will definitely be back.

A little bit of heaven in the hills

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our time at Serendip. It is an absolutely beautiful property - inside and out! If you are after somewhere to recharge your batteries in a peaceful and relaxing environment then this place is for you. Julie our host was welcoming and answered any questions we had.

Relaxing stay. Lovely house.

We really enjoyed our stay at Serendip. Such a peaceful location, perfect for relaxation and restoration. The views are gorgeous and the house is well equipped, with lots of personal touches that make it feel like a home away from home. It’s a rainforest retreat, yet all the main amenities are close by (so very convenient). Julie and Andy were extremely thoughtful hosts, ensuring we had privacy even while they stayed in the caretaker’s cottage next door. All in all, a great place. Thank you, Julie and Andy.

Fabulous!

Relaxing and Lovely Views

This is a beautifully presented spacious house with a huge veranda overlooking stunning views. We enjoyed playing board games and watching the huge TV in front of the fireplace in the evenings. The well-equipped kitchen with all the essentials of home, including herbs, spices and sauces, was a refreshing treat. Mullumbimby is a peaceful spot away from the hustle and bustle but well located to explore the coast and hinterland of northern NSW. I would definitely recommend Serendip for a relaxing and unwinding holiday.

Lovely property

Welcoming view and decor! Comfortable unlocked share house with all amenities & close to town. Parking for up to five cars. Main bedroom beautiful but needs a hanging rack and set of drawers for guests!
