This property is spacious and extremely well equipped. The furniture is in excellent condition and comfortable and the bedding and towels are adequate.
The property is also in a very convenient location.
This property exceeded our expectations. It was warm, well-equipped and definitely centrally located. Arriving to find a large fully decorated Christmas tree was a delightful surprise. Our host answered questions promptly and there was a helpful folder of advice. We will be returning to this absolute gem.
The apartment was very nice in a great location... just steps from Shakespeare's birthplace, shops and restaurants. We would definitely stay there again.
It was a very clean and spacious place to stay, kitchen was lovely and very well equipped, Bedrooms very nice and comfortable. All amenities there. Washing machiene Dishwasher, cooker, microwave, etc. I would recommend staying there.
Great apartment in wonderful location. Comfortable with excellent facilities. Car parking on neighbouring street caused no issues. Slight issues getting central heating to work. Issues with TV, couldnt access apps to be able to watch prime, netfix erc. coildnt access
I can't recommend this property highly enough. It is ideally located in the heart of town and has everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen is clean and well-equipped, the bedrooms and the living area are comfortable and spacious. The courtyard is an added bonus for those warm evenings.
Lovely apartment, clean and tidy, great location and good communication with the owner. This property is also suitable for guests with limited mobility -a big plus for us. Thank you.
I loved it so much that when my plans changed I am going right back! The flat actually seems bigger than the pictures, beautifully decorated, quiet, easy walk to everything you need, lovely host. I have been traveling for 7 weeks now and this my favorite so far.
Perfect position in Stratford for RSC & other attractions. Apartment suited ageing parents with limited mobility, & everything provided you could possibly need, especially in the kitchen.
Great communication with Lisa, answering all queries promptly. Thank you for a lovely stay.
This great flat was just steps away from Shakespeare's Birthplace - we could see it from our front step! We could shop, dine and immerse ourselves in all things Shakespeare without need of any transportation.
We were very impressed with the size and comfort of the apartment. Also, the location for being in Stratford-Upon-Avon could not be better. The main part of the town and Shakespeare's birthplace are across the street with a pedestrian stop light just there. Other lovely towns in the Cotswolds are only a few miles away.
Communication with the host was great and everything we needed was in the very clean apartment.
Highly recommend this place for a stay in the Cotswolds.
Perfect location. 5 minutes walk from the centre of Stratford on Avon. The flat was spotless, stacks of storage, great kitchen with everything that you could need to stay for a day or a year. Comfortable, warm and with parking right outside the front door. Really comfortable bed, stacks of fluffy towels, I could go on but by now you will have the picture. Excellent place to stay. đ
Itâs a great property in an area right on the edge of town - you can see Shakespeareâs birthplace from the front door! Your a few minutes walk from most sights in town, including the river, 5-10 minute drive to the racecourse, or a 30/40 minute walk if youâre up for it.
Itâs clean, modern and in a quiet road, with resident parking and has everything you need for your stay. The little enclosed outside space is also great for a morning coffee before you get out exploring.
The only thing I can suggest as an improvement is a couple more pillows but other than that, Iâd definitely recommend this great value for money property!
This is a really beautiful and comfortable property, in a perfect location, with so much thought having gone into design and comfort. It's so difficult finding level, ground-floor accommodation for people with mobility problems in Stratford, and this place was exactly what we were looking for! Lisa was a delightful host, and any little problems were sorted out right away. One small suggestion ... it would really help having the instruction manuals for things like the oven available in the otherwise very comprehensive property handbook! Thanks for a delightful stay.
We stayed for 3 nights for a mother daughter weekend. Extremely impressed with the accommodation. Spotlessly clean and everything we needed for a fab getaway. Location could not have been better - as you come out the front door you can see the back of Shakespeareâs family home. Very close to all amenities, including the RSC theatre and butterfly farm (definitely both worth a visit!). The Victorian Christmas market was also just a stoneâs throw away. Even though parking wasnât directly outside of the property, it was only a couple of minutes walk along the canal which was lovely. The whole weekend completely exceeded our expectations and would highly recommend to anyone wanting a great apartment in a wonderful location.
To stay or not to stay⊠The answer to that question is an unequivocal yes!!!
I have owned Globe House since 2007 when I lived around the corner next to the canal. It's a lovely part of town and in very close proximity to the town centre. I enjoy walking along the canal path in both directions and sometimes walk from home down to the holiday cottage along this route. I enjoy preparing the holiday cottage for guests to arrive and can often be found during un-rented periods with a paintbrush or screwdriver in hand. I love hearing from guests that have enjoyed their break from their usual day to day grind and have left relaxed and refreshed. My special interest in bedding drives my partner nuts, we are often testing new pillows and towels as I aim to provide comfort and relaxation for your stay.
The property has a lot of history, during it's lifetime it has been a publishing house, a pub and a holiday cottage. The property was in dire need of renovation when I bought the property and with a bit of time and a lot of love the pub was converted into two apartments. The ground floor provides a lovely space to stay just a stone's throw from all the hubbub of the town centre.
The renovation was done to include some of the old expectations of a Victorian house that can be seen in the bathroom and the feature fireplace in the lounge with a mixture of new with a modern kitchen and en-suite wetroom to the master bedroom.
