Enjoyed our time!! The house was a great size for us and 2 teenage boys (who stayed in the loft). Large porch space was awesome. Campground was quiet and staff was really nice. Proximity to Six Flags, mini golf, ice cream, and games was great for the boys- they could walk those places themselves. Good proximity to rail trails, hiking, and whitewater rafting as well. The only downside- we are used to a king bed, so the master bed was too small- we ended up having to sleep apart.
I didnt realize it was at a campsite but was pleasantly surprised when I walked into the cottage.
The full bathroom is in the master bedroom, and the half bath is in the hallway. The other bedroom is bunk beds. Upstairs is a loft. My adult son and girlfriend slept on the twin mattress (on the floor) but there is no headroom. They made it work but couldn't hang out upstairs.
I would like to return with our entire family and rent a few cabins.
It's one exit from the Village of Lake George, Super Walmart down the block and plenty of places to eat.
Great Place to Spend a Socially Distanced 4th of July
We drove into this property not knowing it was a campground for RVs and trailers, but we had a great time regardless. The sleeping spaces are little small and would probably fit a family with kids better than 5 adults, but our favorite spot was probably the outdoor deck area where we had almost every meal. You'll need to bring your own bedding and linens to the location. There's a Walmart Superstore less than 10 minutes drive away where we were able to stock up on everything we needed. We had a great time overall and would love to come back to this space in the future!
