We enjoyed this home so very much. It was very accommodating and had all the supplies that we needed plus more. Weâre so grateful to the owners for allowing us to use their home for our family reunion. Thank you.
I'm very glad we found this property. The location was very good. Everything from the photos and description were accurate. The host was kind and helpful. We had everything we needed. I would recommend this property for a family or friends gathering of any kind.
The house and location are fantastic! It is across the street from Dixie State University. Quite street, plenty of parking on the street and in the driveway. The house accommodates larger groups easily. Fully equiped for cooking in. The house has a number of locations for larger discussion or more private discussions. Plenty of seating for dining.
We had 5 families staying in the home. Thereâs are 5 bedrooms, so each family head had a room. There are enough extra beds either in each bedroom or elsewhere in the house, that all the children also had a bed. The kitchen was stocked with spices and other miscellaneous cooking needs, and has adequate utensils, plates, bowls, drinking glasses, table space, and chairs. We would have liked more rolls of paper towels and some trash bags. Taking everything into consideration, it was the perfect spot for our large family. Thank you.
This house looks small on the outside, but it's pretty big on the inside. Lots of room for a big group (up to 15 people). Centrally located and convenient.
great location, perfect for large families or large groups
We enjoyed our stay, felt much like a home. Everything worked great in the home. We could see bringing a larger group of family next time. We would stay here again for sure. The owner was great to work with.
Property was nicely located and convenient to stores and locations which we frequented.
Property was clean and comfortable.
Good communication with the manager.
Was an excellent place to stay with the family, house was super clean, close to Zion, Pioneer Park, Snow Cayon, and many more places. For sure we are coming back again! Thank you so much Lee for everything!
Age 85 is important to our families. Our 3 sons and family enjoyed staying at the Meek home. They were all from Northern Utah so enjoyed the warm weather. The home is big and very comfortable. There was everything in the home that was needed. Thanks so very much đ
This house is on the corner of a busy intersection in St. George. There is no yard. It looks like a family lived here for 40 and then moved out leaving the furniture and decorations. We stayed 3 nights, only used half of the house and we were charged our full cleaning deposit for damage that we did not do. They said we left gum in the carpet, stained carpet and sheets and broke a window! That was all fabricated and now Iâm left fighting for my cleaning deposit.. Find another rental.
The house was very nice and comfortable. My only complaint would be the lack of communication. I had to call the owner the morning of arrival to get address and how to get into the house. Then one of the guests had to call to get wi-fi password. Iâve just never had this happen before. I have always gotten an email with all the important information before the arrival date. Other than this, we all enjoyed ourselves very much.
In all of the best ways, this is your grandmaâs house. It is so conveniently located, comfortable, and well-stocked that you just feel at home while youâre here. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
We loved the Meeks home. Yes, the decor is dated, but itâs so charming and homey. Everything was clean and well stocked. The home is huge and sleeps so many in beds. Great location. Right across the street from a park and Dixie college. Close to LDS temple and downtown St. George. Great place to stay!
Our family got together to celebrate Thanksgiving in St. George. There were 17 of us and we each had a comfortable place to sleep. The house had plenty of kitchen ware. It was clean and homey feeling.
This home was a beauty! We enjoyed the area it was in, as well as the charm, beauty, and space on the inside. It was beautifully decorated for the holidays.
We came into St. George for the marathon and stayed here. The home was well-furnished, very spacious, a lot of sleeping accommodations, and an excellent location. Lee, the owner, was fantastic to work with. We would love to go back!
very nice house in the center of town. Close to everything, across the street from Burns Arena and the University. The home has a full basement and accommodates 2 or 3 families comfortably. The owner is accessible and very easy to work with. We will definitely keep this place in mind next time we are in st. George.
We had a great family reunion at this house. There was plenty of space with lots of open areas for everyone to hang out together. The house looks nicer in person than it does in the pictures. Some of the rooms were updated very nicely, some could still use some updating.
Given the fact that this house is large and likely to be used for groups with children, it's important to be aware that there are lots of fragile trinkets and other decorations, lots of glass, and no childproofing. It is difficult to keep small children from getting into things they shouldn't. We also did not realize before our arrival that there is no wi-fi, and Sprint (which is the cellular carrier for most of our extended family) has very limited service in this house, though it's readily available once outside the house. Due to this, most of us spent the week without much Internet access. We did discuss this with the owner after our stay and he indicated that he is planning to add wi-fi service for future guests. Checkout procedures were unclear, but the owner said they are planning to update that as well.
Overall, we had a great experience here and feel it was an excellent value for the price.
