This was our 2nd time at this Villa, we were a group of 5 Females age 50+, Villa was as described,again it was just like Home from Home, we couldn't have asked for anything else, it was very clean, well maintained. Nicos was great he picked us up from Airport, again Nicos' wife cooked us a traditional Cypriot meal fantastic. We really could not have asked for anything else. Would definitely recommend & hope to be back next year. Thank you Nicos for everything, once again you have got it nailed.

Mickey Villa 1

This villa is fantastic, we had the most amazing time. Lovely pool, cleaned everyday by the pool man. Great living space and so comfortable our two year old didn't want to come home! Lots of toys and pool toys to play with. Great having the bikes to go off exploring on, easy to ride to Protaras. So relaxing we hardly went out and we used the BBQ most days. Great hospitality by the owner - we couldn't have felt more looked after. You will not be disappointed! We will defintely book again.

Family Holiday October 2012

Just as the website described it, 'Mickey 1' was a lovely, comfortable and well located home from home. Clean, well maintained and equiped with all we needed to enjoy our holiday. Nikos was the perfetct host providing us with grocery starter pack, wine & beer and a splendid greek dish that his wife had cooked. He also arranged our airport minibus to accomodate our friends who were in the next door villa,'Mickey 11'. Pernera is a lovely place to stay and an easy stroll along the boardwalk takes you to Protoras. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to recommend the villa to others. Christmas in Cyprus

We travelled with our two children for a quiet but fun christmas. The property was maintained to a high standard and had the pool cleaned regularly. We really appreciated the fact that we did not have to worry about how to get there after the long flights as we were picked up from the airport and taken straight to the villas. The meal provided was great (even the fussy 4 & 6 year old enjoyed it) and along with the rest of the welcome pack meant that there was no need to go hunting for a shop on day 1. Having the use of the car made all the difference and we could pop out whenever we wanted. The kids loved playing in the pool (yes even at christmas !) and were in it most days. They also loved collecting shells on the nearby beaches. As a lot of the resort was closed as it was out of season it made for a very relaxing christmas. We will definitely be coming back when the waterparks are open. Thanks for a great holiday.

and the property was well laid out, having 2 bathrooms, one en suite and a further toilet serving the 3 bedrooms. The lounge kitchen and dining area comfortably accommodated 6 adults. The kitchen was well stocked, having a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge freezer and full oven. The out door space contained a well maintained pool and a range of tables and chairs/loungers. The surrounding area was quiet and access to the estate was via a barrier. Nikos was a very hospitable host who left a stock of food items for us on our arrival. He also arranged a taxi from the airport and personally transported us to the airport at the end of our stay. He turned up on Christmas Day with a bottle of wine and chocolates. A problem did arise in the property and he quickly arranged for this to be satisfactorily dealt with. Overall a comfortable property and an excellent host.

April 2013 holiday

We had a lovely stay in Nikos's villa in April 2013. The villa is excellent, well equipped, clean and conveniently situated. Nikos was very hospitable, picking us from the airport late in the evening and providing a very tasty home-cooked meal for us, as well as a very good welcome pack. There is plenty of space in the villa and the wi-fi worked well which was very important for our teenage children (strictly for revision of course!). The resort was very quiet, being before the start of the season, and a number of the local shops and restaurants were closed, which was a shame. The restaurants we visited close by were very good and we thoroughly enjoyed the food and excellent service. Prices were very reasonable, especially the cocktails! The local supermarkets were limited, having little or no fresh bread, fruit or veg and we had to resort to Lidl in Protaras for fresh provisions, which was a shame as we would like to have used "local" shops. We loved the seaside walk from Pernera to Protaras and enjoyed being out and about in the warm sunny weather, a welcome change from the freezing conditions at home! Unfortunately the pool and the sea were rather on the chilly side but this is only to be expected in April. I would recommend this villa to anyone wanting an relaxing, laid back holiday, although I would imagine the area is rather livelier over the summer months. Many thanks to Nikos and his family for an excellent holiday, we hope to come back again some time.

Wedding Jun 2022

Stayed here for 2 weeks to attend a wedding. The location was exactly what we wanted.....close to shops, restaurants & beach but not too far away from the hustle and bustle of the big resorts. The villa had everything we needed, was clean, spacious and a good pool area. Nikos was very friendly and helpful....a nice guy. We will hopefully return here in the future.

Lovely villa, great location

We have stayed in several villas in this area and this is by far the best! It is very well equipped and even has a side sea view which is not mentioned in the description! All though is was early March the weather was very good and we managed to BBQ a couple of times. As we imagined the pool at this time of year was freezing and my son was the only one brave enough to try this. Nikos is an amazing host and just cannot do enough for you. The welcome pack in the fridge was amazing and the meal made by his wife was incredible. The car was a great bonus and was so easy to drive. Will definitely book this villa again.

Absolutely fabulous villa

We stayed for a week in this villa and couldn't have asked for better. The villa was very clean and was well equipped with everything we needed. The pool was fantastic and was cleaned on a regular basis when we were there. I have already recommend this villa to my friend and would have no hesitation in recommending to others.

Just returned from 2 weeks at Nicos villa with my parents, husband and 3 children. We had a fantastic time. The villa was lovely. Well equipped and in a perfect location. Nicos was very accommodating and his lovely wife made us a fantastic greek meal. Would defo recommend and fingers crossed will be back next summer if the villas not already booked.

Great Villa

e stayed in this 3 bedroomed villa with family to attend a wedding, we stayed for a week and had a lovely holiday. The villa is extremely well equipped, everything we needed was there waiting for us, even a home cooked meal on arrival and a very generous welcome pack. The villa is perfectly located, within walking distance to all the shops, bars and restaurants as well as the beaches. We made use of the free car to do our food shopping at a close by well known supermarket and to venture into town for even more to do and see. The only downfall we found during our stay was that we had trouble with ants, this was dealt with efficiently by Nico's, but they were very persistent, apparently this is a common problem during the summer months in Cyprus. This didn't spoil our stay and we would recommend the Mickey 1 Villa to anyone looking for a villa in this area.

wonderful holiday

We have just returned from a wonderful family holiday. This is our 2nd time in Nikos villa but this year we hired both villas for my sisters 50th birthday and all 11 of us really enjoyed our stay. The villas provide everything you could possibly need. The pools are excellent and both cleaned on a regular basis. We used the BBQ facilites and he also provided bikes for those who may like to explore.Nikos provides an amazing welcome pack and he is always so helpful and nothing is too much trouble. The villas are situated very close to the beach, pubs restaurants and local shops and a bakery is just a short walk away. Our favourite restaurants were Del Gusto, Mojitos wine bar and Sizzlers Steak house. They all provide high quality food at very reasonable prices. It was my sisters first visit to Cyprus and she enjoyed it so much that she immediately booked a return trip to the villa for next year. The weather was wonderful ( in the 30's everyday) and not a cloud to be seen.The walk along the front to Protaras is lovely and takes about 25 mins and there are plenty of bars to stop off at on the way. There are also a few taxi ranks close by should you not want to walk into Protaras .We could not fault these villas in anyway and will definately be returning . Many thanks to Nikos for his warm welcome and for being so helpful

relaxing holiday

this was the second time we stayed at nikos,s villa,, and we cannot fault it..the villa was clean and well maintained,,the pool was cleaned twice a week and yes we did use it....there are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby,beach a short walking distance,,and nikos was there for us,, no matter what we asked if he could do it he did.. thank you nikos,, we had another wonderful stay and look forward to coming out next year,,,, diane and pam,,, the silver surfers....

Celebration

Lovely holiday had by all, we rented both villas as had a big family celebration with 6 adults and 5 children. The pool was kept lovely and clean which was hard work some days ans we all seemed to use one pool some days which meant at least 10 in the pool so well used. the children especially spent hours in them. The villas are nice and close to shops, restaurants and bars. Also only a stroll down to lovely beaches and good snorkelling. Nikos was very good at sorting out a few problems we had with the villa and was only a quick tel call away. Many thanks, highly recommended

Fantastic Villa Second to None

This was our 1st time at this Villa, we were a group of 5 Females age 50+, Villa was as described, it was just like Home from Home, we couldn't have asked for anything else, it was very clean, well maintained, pool was cleaned early 1 morning without any noise or disruption to us & before we had even got up. Nicos was great he picked us up from Airport & also arranged for Martin to come & see about taking us back to Airport at the end of our stay which was cheaper than a normal taxi, Nicos' wife cooked us a traditional Cypriot meal fantastic we were also provided free of charge a welcome pack to get us started & the added bonus Nicos gave us the use of his car (for us we would recommend a car). We really could not have asked for anything else. We also went just out of Season. Would definately recommend & stay here again. Thank you Nicos for everything,you have got it nailed, hope to be back again soon
