À propos de cet hébergement

Adorable ~ 700 pieds carrés chalet dans Cedar Park Estates à quelques pas de la famille Browns Lake et de la plage de Cedar Park, jetée de pêche et le lancement de bateau privé. Situé à seulement une heure du côté nord de Chicago! La maison peut accueillir confortablement quatre (une reine et un ensemble de lits superposés) avec de la place pour faire sauter les matelas dans la chambre et le salon superposés. Belle terrasse et véranda pour divertir ainsi que des espaces verts pour les petits pour recueillir des lucioles et la chasse à la grenouille. Un barbecue au charbon de bois et un foyer sont situés juste à côté du pont lors d’une promenade en béton. La cuisine est équipée de nécessités pour préparer vos repas et manger à la maison dans une salle à manger avec des fenêtres enveloppantes. Smart TV avec câble de base, lecteur DVD et Internet pour votre visionnement de fav (par exemple, Netflix, Hulu, Amazon). La salle de bain a une douche en céramique propre et une laveuse et sécheuse empilable est dans la maison.

Nous avons élevé nos deux enfants qui passaient leurs étés à la plage du Cedar Park, à se garer et à faire du vélo dans les collines avoisinantes et ne changeraient rien à rien! C'est une excellente occasion pour que la famille se détende et passe du temps ensemble dans l'eau, pêchant, se promenant, s'amusant et se mettant à l'extérieur.

Choses à apporter ???

Un bateau si vous en avez un! Vous pouvez lancer à partir de Cedar Park pour 10 $ par jour et il y a beaucoup de place pour stocker le bateau sur l'allée. Browns Lake est un lac tous sports. Amenez les skieurs!

Paddleboards, kayaks, canoës et voiliers sont les bienvenus et encouragés.

Les bâtons de pêche et l'équipement-Il y a beaucoup de poissons-lune, de l'achigan (grande et petite bouche) et du doré jaune à sauter sur votre ligne depuis le quai de pêche Cedar Park.

Volley-ball (terrain de sable @ plage) et de basket-ball, des raquettes de tennis et de l'équipement de baseball pour Cedar Park aire de jeux quelques maisons sur Fischer Drive.

Vélos - La région de Browns Lake / Burlington offre une merveilleuse topographie pour une balade à vélo panoramique avec des enfants ou un entraînement stimulant pour les cyclistes sur route et hors route.

LOVE THIS HOUSE!

This house is perfect for the empty nesters. So clean and comfortable. We also love the yard and outside spaces. Close to shopping and Burlington has many fun restaurants!

Beautiful house!

Spent the weekend here to attend a concert in East Troy. Loved the cottage, relaxing vibe of the place! They had everything I forgot to pack (spices and condiments) so that helped me stress less. The short walk to the private lake access was filled with kind neighbors. Will definitely be back!

Cute Cottage in Quiet Brown's Lake neighborhood

Thank you, Sue for sharing your cottage with us for the week. We had a wonderful time, slowing down for a week of relaxation. The cottage is a quick 1 block walk to the neighborhood beach that had a great fishing dock, swimming pier and soft sand beach for the kids and adults to cool off in. The sunsets over the lake were our favorite part. Our 12 year old caught an 8lb large mouth bass off the fishing dock. That was a highlight for sure. The house was fully stocked with anything you could need and had plenty of outdoor space to sit back and relax. We all had a wonderful time at Brown's Lake. thank you, again for sharing your cottage with us.

Relaxing family getaway

Charming cottage. We had a great time staying here. Towels are fluffy and the bed is very comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked and we made a lot of use of the grill and fire pit. Outdoor areas are fantastic. The private beach is one block away and our 18 month old loved it! There is no dishwasher, but there were plenty of cleaning supplies and it was fast. Owner is very responsive and has taken great care of the property. We had a GREAT weekend! Hope to rent this location again in the future.

Just what we wanted, a lovely cottage at the lake.

Three of us adults stayed at the cottage for a week. The cottage was lovely, pleasantly decorated, clean, and well equipped for what we needed. The 2 bedrooms, living room and kitchen were comfortable and very adequate. We ate our meals on the porch, and appreciated having additional spaces for relaxing such as the screen porch and the large deck area. Staying at this property entitled you to use the private beach a short block away. There is a peer, a large flexible raft and water slide for kids to play on and a raft farther out. The water is very clean. . Donna was very responsive to all our communications. We hope to come again. We highly recommend staying there.

Perfect for our family of four

We had a great experience and would definitely consider renting here again. Check-in/out were easy and communication was great - including tips on things to do, places to eat, etc. Donna’s place was fully equipped with everything we needed. We all loved the airy, comfortable reading room. Great location just one street away from a small, uncrowded beach with a grocery store within 10 min drive. Approx 25 mins from Lake Geneva. We were very happy with our stay.

Little cottage getaway!

We had a great end of the summer getaway at the cottage. It was a perfect size for our little family of 3. Anymore guests, it might have been tight. But the private beach was exactly what we were looking for. The other beach guests were so friendly and helpful with area insight. And Donna was great to communicate with and so helpful. Thank you!!

A great place to stay for a getaway

My boys and I stayed for 4 nights and loved it! The screened in porch and the deck were my favorite places! Everything you need is there. Well stocked kitchen and laundry, remodeled bathroom. We had a great time!

Great location and cottage!

Our family with two little ones stayed here and loved it. Donna was a great host and went above and beyond to take care of some small things to make the stay perfect. Huge deck and separate screened deck were great for outside activities, and the wraparound lawn was great for the kids to play on. Beach or playground only a block and a half away, and many options for shopping/dining only a short drive away. Thanks!

The house was very clean and comfortable. It was a good place to relax. The kitchen was well furnished. Very nice screened in porch. The only downside to this house was the small bathroom. We would go back again.

Very clean comfortable home away from home.

I enjoyed the quiet neighborhood with the beautiful flowers in the large yard. I found the large outdoor deck area great for entertaining family and friends until the mosquitos joined us and then we could move into the screened- in porch to continue enjoying the weather. The cottage was well stocked with everything I could possibly need . The owners went out of their way to make my stay very comfortable.

Very nice.

Cute cottage. Great location near the little beach. Wonderful outdoor space. Inside was small, but that was listed in the 700, sf so not a surprise. It did have everything we needed. The owners were attentive to any inquiries we had. We really enjoyed dinner on the patio and using the outdoor grill.

Perfect family getaway!

We had a wonderful stay at this cute cozy cottage. It was so clean and had everything you could ever want. The owners are very accommodating and response very quickly to any questions. We went for a long weekend with our two little girls who loved the beach, going out on the lake, and playing on the porch. Highly recommend staying here.

Perfect house. Super clean and quaint. Very comfortable beds. Easy to entertain inside and out.

We stayed here for two weeks and had a super time. Very relaxing, easy to cook in with lots of kitchen choices in utensils. Super clean. A lot of entertaining options with the outdoor seating, screened porch seating and dining room table in the house. Great place to have the grandkids, close to the park and the lake only a few blocks away. Love it and will return. Love sitting out on the front porch with a cuppa coffee every morning.

Cozy, cute and clean

Our stay in Burlington was fun even though the weather didn't cooperate. My 16 year old daughter, her 2 friends and I enjoyed Spring Break by playing games, watching movies, cooking together, visiting Lake Geneva and even jumping into the freezing lake making some fun memories! The owner was awesome, explaining everything and allowing us to stay after check-out to enjoy another day together. This was my 1st time using VRBO and was a such a fantastic experience I will certainly do it again! We hope to come back to Burlington to experience the lake during the summer and hope to rent this cottage again!

Wonderful

Adorable, clean, and accommodating. The house was impeccably clean when we arrived and felt warm and inviting. The kitchen came stocked with everything from a wine opener to a casserole dish. It was perfect and I plan to come back for a ladies weekend soon!

Clean and cozy home!

This home was exactly what we needed for a relaxing girls weekend. Donna was very easy to deal with and had everything clean and ready for us. I spent much of the time in the sunny front room. Also definitely check out The Coffee House in town if you are a coffee person.

We are a family of four from Glenview, Illinois who have spent summers in Burlington since 2005. We recently bought a fixer upper on Browns Lake and are not ready to part with our family cottage just yet:) As I mentioned, lots of fun memories and good friends have been made at the cottage.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Our place is just one hour from Glenview! Close enough to commute from city if necessary but far enough to get away from the hustle and bustle of the daily grind of work and school. Go west at the Mars Cheese Castle exit for 18 miles to our little slice of heaven.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

The screened porch is the newest addition at the cottage and most loved. We have spent many evenings with family, friends and neighbors hanging out in the screened porch while the kiddos make smores, play ghost in the graveyard or hunt fire flies.
