Ce chalet a tout ce que vous imaginez pour les vacances sur le lac que vous avez été nostalgie. La zone riveraine est exposée au sud toute la journée par un soleil, un quai flottant, une terrasse au bord du lac, un hangar à bateaux aménagé magique au bord de l’eau et un accès facile pour le lancement du pédalo, du kayak, de deux canoës (dont un en kevlar) ou de la pagaie debout. planches. Votre bateau peut être amarré sur place avec une bonne proximité de la rampe de lancement du lac. Si la pêche est votre jeu, Gooderham lac est abondante avec des petites et achigan à grande bouche, la perche, brochet et la truite arc. La cuisine mise à jour de concept ouvert avec bar est un endroit idéal pour la collecte, mais vous aurez probablement barbecue sur le gril de propane et de prendre les repas sur le porche de l'écran magique qui encadre parfaitement les couchers de soleil roses sur le lac.

Ouvrez les portes du hangar à bateaux pour une vue de carte postale du lac. Le hangar offre un espace social supplémentaire pendant la journée et secondes en annexe trimestres à dormir la nuit. Profitez de dormir au bord de l'eau et regarder la lune surplomber l'eau ondulante. Rassemblez autour de la chiminea pour un feu à l'arrière de la maison après l'obscurité.

Gooderham lac jouit d'un serein périmètre de 5 mile. Bordée de bouleau, le cèdre, la pruche et le pin, il est un paradis pour les amoureux de la nature. Itinéraires à proximité conduisent à un lac de couronne cachée. Faites du canoë et du kayak sur la route de la rivière Irondale ou sur les nombreux lacs joyaux qui vous attendent.

Great Haliburton Cottage Getaway

Cozy cottage with a view of the lake. 3 bedrooms in the main cabin and an extra bed in the bunky and boathouse easily accommodated our family of five. Good small mouth bass fishing on the lake and even caught some right off the dock.

Authentic Cottage

Great cottage for 6 people. Lots of room for everyone. Lake is clean and lots of water crafts to use and enjoy. Well appointed cottage everything we needed was there.

Week in paradise!

We just spent the most glorious week in Gooderham. We spent a week at this gorgeous and cozy cottage with every amenity. From check-in to check-out, our host Anne-Marie was incredible. She communicated everything we may need and even texted the day after we arrived to ensure we were comfortable! The accommodation itself was clean and well appointed with 3 great size bedrooms. The bunkie was adorable with perfect sleeping quarters for kids. The boat house was incredibly cozy and the view to the lake was beautiful. From a peddle boat, SUP boards, kayaks to canoes, we wanted for nothing. We even had goggles and snorkelling gear to explore the beautiful lake. The little beach to the side of the boathouse was the perfect entrance for swimming and our 4 year old loved to play in the shallow water and catch minnows. The path to the water was illuminated each night with beautiful patio lights and it was something out of a storybook. We can’t wait to go back! What a magical vacation in Halliburton!

Lovely cottage. The host was exceptionally responsive. She ensured check in/out process was smooth. Loved sitting in the boathouse and watching the water. Close to a store so we were able to pick up last minute items (coffee and firewood).

Relaxing week

We really enjoyed our stay at Anne Marie’s cottage. It is well equipped for cooking The bedrooms and bathroom are newly renovated and excellent paired with the character of the living dining area. Swimming is great and so enjoyed having the canoes and kayak to use. Anne Marie is a helpful and responsive host.

Wow factor

This property is absolutely beautiful. Inside and out. The walk down to the lake front is so pretty. With a bunkie and boathouse, everyone had their own space. Anne-Marie is fantastic and even checked in the morning after arrival with a text to make sure we settled in ok. The cottage itself is beautiful and with so many water toys, we all had so much fun. The lake is wonderful for swimming and touring around on a SUP, canoe or kayak The kitchen is so well appointed and the bathroom is very modern. and gorgeous. This trip was a fantastic one.

Private, Comfy and feels like home.

Very clean cottage and property. Excellent Host, who communicated quickly to answer questions. Great dock, boathouse and swimming. Halliburton, with all the stores you need, is a quick drive. The walk down to the water might not be for someone with mobility issues.

Wonderful Cottage Vacation

We had a fantastic week at this cottage. Our host was very accommodating and the cottage was everything and more than it said it was. I would highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a relaxing week with friends and family.

Perfect Canadian cottage getaway...

We booked this property well in advance, since great cottage rentals are hard to come by, and we were not disappointed. The cottage had everything we needed for our two week stay. Situated on lakefront but accessible by car, a nice dock, good swimming, kayaks, canoes, and floaties, lakeside deck, awesome bunkie/boathouse, fully stocked kitchen (cooking supplies/utensils, coffee maker, microwave, etc.), comfy living room with stereo, tv, and huge video library, three bedrooms with double beds, bathroom with great shower and water pressure, lovely dining veranda, bbq, firepit, etc. The lake was fairly quiet except for the occasional loon calls and woodpeckers. The location was located close to amenities (Gooderham, Kinmount, Minden, and Haliburton), which made it easy to pick up extra groceries or go for an ice-cream in the area. There is no wifi at this cottage, which was a blessing. We concentrated instead on good conversation, making meals together, lake swims and enjoying nature. It was great to truly disconnect. Our hosts were very accommodating and readily available via text, but not intrusive. Ten out of ten for us and would definitely consider renting again.

Great Family Cottage

A great place for a family vacation. The lake was a great size and very swimmable. The cottage is cosy, but very functional with a good working kitchen and the bonus of the screened in porch out front. The addition of sleeping quarters in the boathouse, at lake level was what sealed the deal. Our boys loved sleeping down there and having their own space. The addition of water toys (SUP, kayak, canoes, paddleboat), games and dvd’s meant that there was always lots to do. The only drawback was that by relying on renters to clean the cottage after their stay, the degree of cleanliness will vary. Regardless, we would not hesitate to rent this location again.

Our July 2018 vacation cottage rental at Gooderham

A beautiful, rustic, true cottage with an easy-to-use more modern kitchen. The lake was perfect for swimming, canoeing and fishing. We used the many water “toys” every day...2 canoes, a kayak, a pedal boat, a paddle board, etc... the sky at night is amazing with the Milky Way visible. We used the boathouse for an extra bedroom, and it is a special spot. Saw a grebe carrying its babies on its back, heard and saw a pair of loons every day. There is a climb down to the dock, deck, boathouse and lake and back up. Overall, I would give this cottage, lake and vacation a 10 out of 10.....probably the perfect weather contributed to our excellent time. Thanks to Anne-Marie for the use of their cottage and for the comprehensive “cottage manual” which addressed all of our questions, for checking to make sure we were happy with everything!

Beautiful Traditional Cottage

We truly loved the cottage! It was quiet and very nicely organized. We had brought most of our Kitchen tools but Anne-Marie has everything well kept. We did not make use of the bedroom in the boat house but we definitely would next time. We made full use of the canoe, kayak and paddle boat. One little set back was the paddle boat, it only works on reverse so make sure to 2 grab paddles should you use it. We never ventured out to the deck at night but it would something to do next time. Great cottage!

Lakeside Cottage

Enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Disappointed with the beach that was advertised and also the fact that the dishwasher was not working. Very well equipped with utensils and dishes. Made good use of boats and water toys. Neighbours with the beach were friendly towards our family. I found the cottage to be dark inside and missed the view of the lake unless you were in the screened in porch.

Lovely Cottage on a quiet lake

We had a great time at this Gooderham lake cottage. The lake itself is beautiful - Quiet with fantastic swimming. The cottage has a large great-room/kitchen, and a lovely screened in back patio which we used every night. The bedrooms are moderate size, but manageable; we were able to easily fit a travel crib in one room, and a child's cot in another. The boathouse is a very good size, but be aware that it is not insulated and being on the lake means it can get quite cold if the temperature is dropping at night (season dependent!) Gooderham has a general store and LCBO, and Haliburton is a short drive away. There is also great "back road" driving around - beautiful lakes and very well maintained dirt roads. Take a look at a map and go exploring:) Our favorites were the drive on the 14/19, north of Halliburton to Fort Irwin, and the more rugged drive on Greens Mountain Trail just to the south of Gooderham. My only critique of the cottage is that some of the pictures sort of imply that the sandy beach is part of this property - it isn't, and the owners of the beach property are not interested in allowing renters access. The cottage has its own good sized dock and boat house, and has a very small portion of the beach which CAN be used, but don't set your heart on lounging on a sandy beach. Overall it was a great stay, and I would certainly recommend it to families, or for a romantic get-away.

Beautiful Haliburton location, great classic cottage.

Great cottage with nice amenities, views, and hospitality from host. This is a "classic" cottage with some nice extra amenities (dishwasher, dvd collection, tons of boardgames, fully equipped kitchen). This was great for our 2 year old daughter - she could have the run of the cottage without a thought to her getting into anything! Small walk downhill to the water but a nice boat house and sandy beach for her to splash in. Neighbours were relatively close by, but quiet and kept to themselves. Highly recommended!
