Perfectly located for easy access to everything we came to see and enjoy in the city center and surrounding areas. A quick walk from rail and bus station stations.
Once we found the keys and the elevator, all else was fantastic. One of the lovely neighbors in the building helped us out. Right in the heart of everything, this is a great location for a quick Bath visit, or an extended stay.
Wonderful location and very comfortable for us and our two small children. Hosts were very communicative, check in/check out was a breeze, beds were comfortable, and the location was perfect- right next to the city center, but on a quieter block. We were there in a heat wave and it got quite warm inside in the evening, but hosts provided well functioning fans.
We really enjoyed our stay here. It was near the river and to downtown without being in an area overrun with tourists. Easy to walk to the Baths, the pickup for our tour to Stonehenge, to dinner, and to the Sainsbury Local (or other shops) for groceries. We were were grateful for the detailed directions for the checkin (although even so, we weren't entirely sure which lockbox to use at first since there are several). And we were especially grateful for the lift which not only got us and our bags up and down to the 3rd floor but was also lovely and cool.We were there during a heatwave, and the flat was toasty at dinnertime, but we had fans for every room and it cooled off well once the sun dropped below the neighboring building and we could open the blinds and windows. So we slept cool and were out most of the day anyway. We would stay there again and recommend to friends.
Perfect location. Close to many attractions yet quiet at night. 2 mins to the rugby grounds and I was able to get a ticket to the final game of the regular season, had a great time. Our only caution would be that the flat is on the fourth level of an old Georgian building with many windows so during the day it can get very warm. It cooled off every evening and with the use of the electric fans we were able to get some relief at night. My wife suggested the option of lighter bed linen for the summer months.Would stay again.
A lovely, comfortable flat in a brilliant location. It's at the top of a Georgian building so it's very atmospheric, but also modern and smart. Location is perfect for sightseeing (just note that it's an old building - no double glazing - in the centre of a busy town so there's some street noise on the evening). Booking and checking in was easy and very professional.
We had a lovely stay in this fully equipped, immaculate apartment. We were able to walk around the city, everything near by. Could not have asked for a better base. Highly recommended!
A trip to England and the Cotswald area was a must. Our flat was perfect! It was located in a great spot for seeing the sites by foot and convenient for tour pickups. The flat was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the comfortable feel that outshines a hotel room. The building was quiet! The host was terrific on communicating about the flat but also about the area. Info left for guests in the house was very helpful.
Easily 5 star but..
good flat..
Nice and clean
Good clean toilet which we like
fabulous entertainment (tv in all rooms)..
well done on smart integration of Google and nest
Cons
Stepped on sharp nails of carpet holder below the door of kitchen - big ouch, half of the carpet holding strip was exposed we had baby so had to be vigilant whole time
Bedroom radiators remain mildly warm combined with single glazing window's it was two cold nights (living and passage heating was brilliant)
We almost locked ourself out of building as seems building entrance code is disabled after certain time. So make sure you do not leave without the keys
Terrible dated lift have to wash hands everytime touched the gate or it smelled like iron - but it's nice to have it or else imagine you have to walk 3 floors
...
Note
Parking 5 min walk ÂŁ17.5 a day
**There is an access to the flat from next door room from outside which you can't lock from inside which was bit nerve wrecking for me (may be it's just me)**
On positive note.. you can see so much efforts were made by the owners so keep it up... it will 5 star once the above Cons are taken care off- especially the ability to not lock the secondary door from inside
This is a wonderfully placed property with plenty of room for four adults to enjoy multiple days. We were able to have wonderful days and know we had a comfortable, safe place to return to. Great kitchen and lounge area as well as beds.
Lovely apartment in a truly brilliant location for the station and the market.
My only issue was the noise in the street outside on both nights. There seemed to be a party going on in the street on both nights. Lots of talking, screaming, singing going on until 4am. I can only assume this was students at the end of Christmas term.
I would stay again though as apartment was great and location superb. Toby was a great help at getting us in on arrival day.
Ideal location right in the centre, only a short walk to the Roman Baths, shops and restaurants. Furniture was a bit minimal with not much hanging/drawer space, but that was fine for a couple of days. Luckily for us, the lift had been fixed so we didn't have to walk up to the third floor. The apartment itself is comfortable and warm, though it could do with a little TLC in places - there were some stains on the sofa and damp stains on the ceiling in the second bedroom. We had heavy rain one evening and water came through the window frame in this bedroom. However, we have mentioned this to the owners, who were very responsive, so I'm sure it will be sorted out quickly. All in all, we had a lovely trip in a beautiful city.
The property was clean and comfortable, the location was outstanding. The only negative was the lift broke the day after we arrived and we had to go up and down three flights of stairs, not fun. It was not repaired during our stay. The property owners responded quickly but the repairs were out of their control.
The owners were very quick to help with a minor heating issue. However, the elevator was inoperable our entire stay. We booked because of the easy access and counted on it for the 4th floor walk up. The owners did not offer any financial accommodation for a significant inconvenience and did not respond to our request.
The property is conveniently situated in the centre of Bath so we could easily walk to shops and restaurants. The flat was clean and tidy with everything we needed. On a hot weekend it was lovely to have a fan in every room. We had a lovely couple of days staying here.
The apartment was great. Two spacious bedrooms, living room and a separate kitchen. The location could not be more perfect. 5 minutes from the train station - and 5 minutes from some of the most exciting sites in the city. Communication with hosts was excellent as well. If I return to Bath, I would definitely try to book the same space.
This was a wonderful place to stay with my husband and two teens. It was an easy walk to sight see in Bath as well as the train station. It was both comfortable and quiet.
