Situé dans le paisible village de Grainthorpe sur la côte du Lincolnshire entre Mablethorpe et Cleethorpes, ce bungalow de vacances indépendant, adjacent à la maison des propriétaires, offre un emplacement idéal pour des vacances reposantes ou une base confortable pour explorer la région. Il se trouve à seulement 13 km de la ville géorgienne de Louth, qui compte encore trois marchés par semaine avec l'impressionnante église St James, l'aire de pique-nique et le lieu de beauté de Hubbards Hills, ainsi qu'un cinéma, un centre de loisirs et de nombreux restaurants et pubs. Cleethorpes et Mablethorpe sont à une courte distance en voiture. Vous trouverez des plages de sable ainsi que toutes vos attractions balnéaires habituelles, notamment des foires, des divertissements et la jetée de Cleethorpes. Grimsby possède un centre du patrimoine de la pêche ainsi que de très bons commerces. De bonnes promenades et pistes cyclables sont directement à la porte avec des terrains de pêche et de golf tous à un court trajet en voiture. Plage 4 miles. Boutique, pub et restaurant 3 miles.

Avalon is a well equipped home-from-home holiday destination situated in the Lincolnshire countryside. Gill is a very friendly host who keeps the place beautifully clean. The enclosed rear garden is a real sun trap and provides a patio area with seating and a couple of steps gives access to the large raised lawn which offers ample space for play.There are pubs, takeaways and convenience stores within easy reach and the lovely market town of Louth, with its independent shops, cinema and swimming pool, is only eight miles away. Walkers can enjoy a number of signed routes from the village towards the coast or inland and the historic towns of Lincoln, Grimsby and Boston are not too far away.We thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing few days here and would not hesitate to recommend.

Lovely well kept bungalow in a brilliant location

We had a lovely long weekend at Avalon. The bungalow is well kept, very clean, spacious and the garden lovely. The kitchen is well equipped and there was everything we needed. It is a great location for exploring both the beaches and the Lincolnshire wolds. Gill was very friendly and welcoming and we really enjoyed our stay.

Avalon was a beautifully clean bungalow with everything you needed for the stay. there were no shops in the village ( local Spar was 2 miles away) and we travelled in our car to Mablethorpe and Grimsby during our stay.
