Chez Nous Zermatt - 4 appartements de luxe dans le même immeuble avec vue sur le Cervin

Angus Potter et Lizzie Orange ont installé Chez Nous Zermatt pour offrir à nos clients une expérience de location de vacances de luxe plus personnelle - plus comme rester avec un ami que dans une «maison de vacances».   

Le Corbassiere est un bel appartement en duplex au troisième étage: 3 chambres et 2 salles de bains au niveau supérieur et un bel espace de vie à l'étage inférieur avec une vue imprenable sur le Cervin.

Un grand soin a été pris pour créer une atmosphère vraiment accueillante: la grande cuisine / salle de séjour ouverte mène à un balcon plein sud orienté directement sur le Cervin et dispose également d'un système home cinéma de 65 '(complet avec toutes les chaînes britanniques et Apple TV) pour que vous puissiez vous détendre devant le feu en regardant un film ou en lisant votre livre le soir (ou par mauvais temps) et quand il est temps de dormir, les lits sont super confortables. Nous veillons également à ce que "l'essentiel" soit en stock afin que vous puissiez faire du thé / café et prendre un verre de vin sans avoir à faire vos courses tout de suite!

Si vous faites partie d'un groupe plus important de familles et d'amis, combiner Le Corbassière avec l'un de nos autres appartements peut vous permettre d'être tous ensemble dans le même bâtiment, mais libre de vous retirer dans votre propre espace si nécessaire.

Tous les appartements Chez Nous Zermatt ont de grands balcons orientés au sud avec une vue imprenable à 180 degrés directement sur le Cervin, vers Gornergrat et jusqu'à la vallée de la Trift. L'un des seuls champs restants du village est juste en face de nous, ce qui donne une sensation d'espace bien qu'il soit si proche de tous les restaurants, du pont de l'église et des remontées mécaniques / bus.

Lizzie et Angus vivent à Zermatt depuis 10 ans et vous aideront à vous organiser autant que possible avant votre arrivée (écoles de ski, réservations de restaurants, forfaits de ski, aide à la garde d'enfants, etc.) afin que vous soyez libre de profiter de vos vacances . Une fois arrivé, vous serez accueilli à la gare et amené à votre appartement en électro-taxi et notre concierge sur place vous aidera à vous installer et sera à votre disposition pour répondre à toutes vos questions tout au long de votre séjour.

Le seul point pratique à garder à l'esprit est que l'accès direct à notre bâtiment depuis le niveau de la rue (lorsque vous arrivez et partez) est en bas de 3 volées d'escaliers. Cependant, une fois vos bagages installés, la plupart des clients utilisent le raccourci vers le village via un chemin à travers le champ devant la maison.

Good to know there are many steps down to the property, making it trickier with suitcases. But if you cut across afield you are just a 5 min walk from the most hopping streets of town.Amazing Mountain Views from living room and primary bedroom.

A wonderful week in Zermatt at Chez Nous

We had a fantastic week in Zermatt staying at Le Corbassiere apartment with Chez Nous. Angus & Lizzie were the most perfect hosts - with excellent communication and help both before we arrived and during our trip. The apartment itself is lovely - a real home away from home. Superbly well appointed and comfortable with the most fantastic view of the town and Matterhorn. We would most certainly recommend both the apartment and Chez Nous to anyone wishing to stay in Zermatt.

Marvelous and relaxing

The apartment was lovely, a nice big living room equipped with movies for everyone and a cozy kitchen and, if this was not enough, Lizzie was always available for our requests and needs (equipments for the kitchen, bluetooth sound for our phones and etc etc). Definitely worth the stay! :)

Winter trip

This is a great apartment with a great view of Matterhorn. Our host, Lizzie, was awesome and we felt well taken care off from the time we reserved the place until we left. She even woke up very early on our last day to ensure that our taxi arrived on time. The apartment was very clean and had an awesome kitchen. We would love to come back again in the future. .

Exceptional apartment and hosts = perfect stay

If you are looking for a terrifically positioned , stunningly beautiful , exceptionally well appointed and comfortable apartment run by warm, generous , superbly organised and welcoming people then simply go to Zermatt with ChezNousZermatt because owners Lizzie and Angus at Le Corbassiere fulfill all those essential criteria with a minimum of fuss for your maximum enjoyment. In our experience there is no point in using anyone else.

The perfect home in Zermatt

First of all, Lizzie and her team were so helpful and communicative before, during, and after our stay. Truly first-class service. Secondly, the house is great. All of the little details are thought through: the kitchen, the bedding, the toiletries were all exceptional. Finally, the location. It's off the main streets so very quiet, but still within walking distance of everything. Cannot wait to stay again next year!

Excellent stay at Chez Nous apartment

We spent 5 nights at one of the 3-bedroom apartments. What a treat!! This was probably THE nicest apartment we ever rented (in the same price class). It is beautifully and comfortably furnished, all the little details one enjoys were thought of. Bedding and pillows were very comfortable, the good reading lights were a plus. The kitchen was well appointed (including fondue pot and utensils), though we only cooked breakfast, except for one night when we enjoyed a fondue for dinner on the balcony. Upon arrival, we found fruit, milk, wine, chocolates, tea, coffee, sugar, and even some spices. These extras are rarely provided in the US. TV and sound system were superb, hiking maps were available, there was nothing we were lacking. The location is excellent with view of the Matterhorn, as shown in the photos. The building and surroundings were very quiet, a wonderful place to relax. Excellent location close to all the activities on main street (restaurants, bakeries, stores, mountain train, gondolas), all within walking distance. We spent 4 days hiking which was superb. We will come back to Zermatt and Chez Nous will be our first choice for lodging. We even met Lizzie and her husband, the most friendly and inviting people. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!! I would like to give a rating of 6 starts.

Perfect Apartment in Zermatt

My husband and I stayed in the Chez Nous apartment for a few nights in May with family and it was perfect. Lizzie and Martin were extremely helpful and informative with everything from directions to recommendations. The apartment as fully stocked with everything we needed and more! We were able to cook our own meals in the incredible kitchen and eat them while looking at the Matterhorn. We highly reccommend this beautiful apartment and can't wait to be back!

A fantastic family holiday destination

We had a wonderful skiing holiday with Chez Nous Zermatt. Lizzie could not have been more helpful: before our arrival she organised our train tickets from Zurich, booked our ski guide, restaurants, ski passes and homemade food deliveries to the apartment. The apartment was great - very comfortable and it had everything we could possibly need, and the views were stunning! It was also very well located and we could walk everywhere. We loved our week in Zermatt with Chez Nous and we will definitely go back!

Views, comfort, clean and cozy

Lizzie and Angus are wonderful sources of local knowledge and tips. They are gracious and professional hosts. We had an amazing holiday in Zermatt and thoroughly enjoyed staying at their place. The flat is both exceptionally comfortable and well set up and has a wonderful view of the Matterhorn. It was lovely to return after a day of skiing to the flat and its location made it easy to take advantage of Zermatt's restaurants and nightlife. Lizzie and Angus' thoughtfulness and insights made our stay all that more pleasurable.

A fabulous experience

My husband and our two young children stayed in Le Corbassiere for around 10 days in January 2018 and had a wonderful time. Despite the fact that the weather was challenging and, unfortunately, we were not able to ski as much as we would have liked, we cannot sing high enough the praises of Lizzie and Angus and their warm hospitality. Months before we arrived, Lizzie was fabulous in answering the various queries we had about dining options, the location of supermarkets, merits of the various ski schools etc and was just as terrific when we were actually there. It was our first trip to Zermatt and we felt welcomed with open arms. We arrived quite late at night and Lizzie kindly met us at the station and assisted in providing us with some food to feed our children quickly on the first night and we all loved the home-made lemon cake which was there waiting for us! Even during the slight tension felt during a power-blackout to the whole village, Lizzie kept in contact, supplied us with torches and could not have been more helpful. We were happy with the location of the building and the apartment itself was beautifully furnished - truly a cosy and warm retreat at the end of the day. We chose to cook dinner for ourselves some nights; the kitchen was more than adequately provided for this purpose (and, indeed, so too were the supermarkets and butcher in Zermatt). We were pleasantly surprised too at the “little extras” that one notices too which makes some accommodation stand out from the rest, such as the generosity of the number of books and DVDs available for our use, the ease and simplicity of the laundry facilities and the space and adequate warmth of the drying room. Lizzie and Angus know the village and mountain so well and we very much appreciated their day to day advice on where to ski and where would be a good spot for lunch/dinner, as well as their attention to the small details, in order to make our stay as enjoyable and as organised as possible. We could not recommend their lodgings or hospitality more highly. The Beeny Family

Very comfortable chalet in a great location

We had a fantastic Christmas staying in le corbassiere. The chalet is in a fabulous location, handy for the village centre and for the klein Matterhorn lift. We have spent Christmas in Zermatt for many years and le corbassiere was the best quality accommodation we have had. The beds are very comfortable which is important to some of us, the bathrooms are modern and everything spotlessly clean. Lizzie could not have been more helpful but in no way intrusive of our holiday, her booking of many restaurants was greatly appreciated. We are hoping to return in 2018.

A wonderful find!

From the moment we booked to stay at this apartment (which was at least nine month in advance I seem to recall), the excellent service from our host, Lizzie, began. This was our first visit to Zermatt and Lizzie was very knowledgeable of everything in relation to Zermatt and her advice was invaluable. Nothing was too much trouble, from booking ski instructors, lift passes, restaurants and even organising our train tickets from Geneva! The location of the apartment is excellent, just 3-4 minutes walk from the heart of the village and the gondola and train up the mountain within 10. It is beautifully furnished and is definitely worthy of 5 stars. The open plan kitchen, dinning and seating area worked so well for us as a family. It really felt like home from home even down to the real Christmas tree adding a pleasant seasonal feel The views are amazing. We didn't get to sit on the balcony but I can imagine it being wonderful in the milder months. We could not find fault with Lizzie and her partner Angus or the apartment, but depending of the configuration of your group, it is perhaps worth bearing in mind that there in a large en-suite bathroom to the master bedroom but the other two rooms share a shower room. As we were a family, it was not an issue for us. I would definitely recommend Le Corbassiere!

Lovely Stay

We stayed a few days in Zermatt in the gorgeous apartment of Lizzie. Lizzie was kind enough to give us the bigger apartment ( Le Corbassiere) and it was really a very very beautiful place indeed. She helped us with getting our ski passes/taxis and whatever else we needed Very helpful :-) She has very good taste and it was a cosy place to come home to after our skiing. Skiing was also superb ( we only managed half of the pistes) a very big area and we will come back to explore the Italian side. We found Zermatt very expensive in eating out and I cooked every night as Coop and Migros where close by and Lizzie's kitchen was very well kitted out. We would highly recommend to stay at this beautiful place and we hope to be back one day. Lizzie Orange, Thank you for a great stay and all the best for 2017!!! The Lambert Family

Stunning views with luxury comforts of home

I've been coming back for my annual fix of Zermatt, Chez Nous and its warm hospitality since 2009 (I think?!). The experience is always fantastic. The apartments have all the most modern creature comforts of home, carefully weaved together with traditional alpine style. They're well positioned for access to both major lifts, and when there's snow enough (and because it's Zermatt there usually is) you can ski back from Sunnega to the top of flat steps. In addition to being lovely hosts, Lizzie and Angus are long-time locals, so know the resort inside out, and are always ready with expert recommendations. I'd previously stayed in Zermatt hotels, but got frustrated with the lucky-dip on views and room size. Personally I'd rather have the full-fat Matterhorn view guaranteed with my own living-room, kitchen and choice of wine!

A superb place to stay - all season!

A super neat and nicely furnished apartment with a lovely view and equipped everything you need for an enjoyable vacation . We received a warm welcome by our hosts and were well provide for during our whole stay . I have returned several times and strongly recommend others to try it out- the best place I ever stayed at!

Attention to detail and views of the Matterhorn

The apartment at Le Corbassiere is contemporary, cosy, filled with light and has incredible views over Zermatt town and the iconic Matterhorn. Lizzie Orange of Chez Nous Zermatt has a keen sense of aesthetics so the space is beautifully decorated and every detail is carefully and generously thought out (e.g. piste maps and chocolates left in your bedroom on arrival). Lizzie is also a trained Chef who seems to make even the most humble of breakfasts taste sublime. Together, Lizzie and Angus are a very welcoming, knowledgeable, discreet and competent team - it seems there is little they don't know about the area in terms of skiing, hiking and mountain restaurants - and they always seemed happy to 'go the extra mile' in making their guests feel at home. I couldn't recommend them, their service and their apartments more highly.

Amazing apartment

The apartment is tastefully furnished with amazing views of The Matterhorn and the village, with only 5 min walk to get you to the centre. We had a super holiday and can't wait to return.

We have deliberately kept Chez Nous Zermatt small because our experience is that a boutique, owner-managed business is the best way to ensure that our guests get a truly personal service.  We have personally furnished our holiday apartments to create an atmosphere that aims to make you feel at home from the moment you walk in.

Family commitments mean that we now divide our time between the UK and Zermatt but we have a small concierge team on the ground here who know Zermatt well and between us we will make sure you are well looked after during your stay.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Initially we ran a small b&b from our own apartment but we now have 4 apartments in this building (the Swiss laws re. foreigners buying property allowed us to buy one and lease the others) and as from Winter 2018/19, Chez Nous has 4 apartments to rent: The Corbassiere which sleeps 6 on the 3rd floor, The Mischabel which sleeps 6-8 on the 2nd floor, Le Petit which sleeps 4 on the 1st floor and now L'Etoile a 1 bedroomed apartment also on the 1st floor next to Le Petit.

We offer our guests the freedom of a self-catered holiday combined with the feel and warmth of staying in someone else's home. We have completely re-furnished the flats to create an atmosphere that aims to make you feel at home from the moment you walk in.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Our apartments are definitely more than just "a rental"; we have created an atmosphere of "home" in all of them and they are filled with lots of the personal touches that we appreciate in places we stay and want to offer our guests.
Our building sits right in the centre of the village but is unique in still having a small field in front of it which sets off the view of The Matterhorn in spectacular fashion.
