Loved the location and space!!! We had a view of the Matterhorn from the balcony, which was a bonus and we were just a quick walk to grocery stores. Loved the fact that there's a door separating the living space from the bedrooms, which allowed people to sleep in or take naps.
Very much appreciated the owners flexibility in allowing up early entry due to my husband's knee injury. (We ended up not getting there early but we're happy knowing that it was possible.) The unit was clean and spacious. Although there is some noise from the neighbors (kids), it quieted down by 10 so sleep was good. Beds were comfortable. I would have appreciated a few more utensils for cooking (spatula, tongs, colander, large serving bowls.
Super apartment in a great location - who doesn't love Zermatt.
An elegant and stylish apartment in a great section of town, half way between the two major ski-lift areas. Market and Bakery just at the corner, so eating out or in was perfect - however Raclette is not to be missed. The place was sparkling clean and ready on time, and communications with the host and manager was very easy.
This property was immaculate. It is situated in a very quiet part of town. There were plenty of new dishes and new induction cookware. The living space was oddly configured, in that the huge kitchen table is in the center of the only common area. One bedroom was in a sort of separate apartment with its own lock. The whole arrangement was highly functional. The space shown on the internet is for the upper floor. We had a wonderful time in Zermatt.
The property is well kept and well managed. Very friendly owners and supporting staff. Great location near town. Matterhorn in view from balcony in good weather. Very cozy with lots of good amenities.
Apartment was comfortable and close to all you need in Zermatt, yet still quiet and private. Markets, ski rental, aprĂšs-ski opportunities we nearby including a very short walk to the bus to the Matterhorn gondola.
Seven adults stayed for 6 nights at beginning of March 2018. The apartment is in a good location right in Zermatt, walking distance to the main street. The buses to the ski lifts (Matterhorn and Sunnegga) were also a close walk. There's a market, bakery, restaurants, and bars nearby. The apartment had 2 small bathrooms - both with showers.
Our biggest complain was the towels provided - they were extremely scratchy and smelled like it wasn't dried properly.
All three rooms were not spacious but one room was especially small that you have to push the beds all the way in to open the door. The beds were a little on the soft side and not large.
The sofa bed in the living was okay. There were two quality sofas in the living room, including the sofa bed so we had plenty of seats to hangout. The dinning table easily fits 6 adults but we didn't really use it as we always ate out.
The owner is very responsive when contacted through VRBO and when we requested a second set of keys, he provided it.
There is also a ski room you can use although it's shared by the apartment building.
A family of 5 stayed in this lovely apartment in April. It was impeccably clean and very well appointed. We loved the view from the balcony, the proximity to town and ski areas, the spacious apartment and comfortable beds. The hosts were very easy to work with and responded promptly with any questions. I would highly recommend this property for a trip to Zermatt.
This apartment was a great find for a group of 6 friends (including one couple) to share in the heart of Zermatt. Clean and nice view of the Matterhorn. While not cheap the cost represented value for money relative to the high cost of Zermatt. A 5-7 minute walk to one of the many ski areas in Zermatt, Sonnega. Other areas accessed via electric bus, taxi or longer walk. Walking distance to some great aprĂšs ski at Cervo, Harry's bar, Snowboat and Papperla pub. A few challenges in coordination of one set of keys between 6 with the ski room and apartment requiring the key and no ski boots on the stairs. We cooked in one night and after trying for ages to figure out why the convection cooktop wouldn't work when we had used it successfully a few minutes earlier, Google came to the rescue it turned out that the large frypan provided was not compatible with the stove top, we switched to the 2 smaller pans and the pasta sauce was made. Highlight of the trip definitely skiing from Switzerland into Italy on a beautiful blue sky day following fresh snow overnight, awesome lunch and finishing with great aprĂšs and sunset at Cervo.
the apartment in haus venus was spotless, we were provided with everything we needed. Mr Mizrahi is so easy to deal with and freindly which makes things so much more enjoyable. We were there with 8 people 2 adults and our 6 children and it was very comfortable. The position is excellent. there are only 2 apartments in that part of the block which is a bonus.
We had a really great holiday and i would highly recommend staying there.

We spent a wonderful summer period in Zermatt, starting in the apartment Venus and then ending at Hotel Julen, some 200 meters away.
Venus is sober, well situated and spacious for a family of 6 people. 8 will most likely feel a bit crowded by some families, although we squeezed in 9 people around the kitchen table. In case of 8 people I would encourage you to ask for two more kitchen chairs and a bigger table fort the sofa for game playing etc.
The apartment combined the freedom of apartment with own kitchen, espresso on the balcony (Nespresso machine in the kitchen), space etc. with the high level standard of a nice hotel, e.g. clean, towels, cleaning included etc.
The landlord and cleaning ladies were all very friendly and service minded.
Location is good in summer, although winter skiers might consider finding a ski depot.
All in all, a place which we would gladly recommend.
Dealing with the proprietor, Menno, was convenient and accurate throughout. Haus Vens is a remodelled 2011 apartment with absolutely fabulous fixtures and fittings to a very high standard. The apartment is centrally located and comfortably takes 6 adults in tree double bedrooms, and 8 if the sofa is pulled out, which again is robust and quality piece of furniture. I have stayed in any apartments and would put Haus Venus in my top 3.
We (4 adults and 4 kids) really enjoyed our stay in this newly renovated apartment. The apartment is spacious, beds are good and there is enough room for clothes and other gear. The location is simply perfect; close to everything, yet a quiet spot in an area with plenty of excellent restaurants and good after ski.
Recommended for all types of visitors.
Thanks Menno, we'll be back...
Very very nice quality furnished new apartment.
Nice furniture, nice atmosphere. Very clean.
Right in the heart of Zermatt.
We felt extremely well and will definitely be back.
The owner of the apartment is very friendly.
Extremely recommended.

We stayed a week at Zermatt Rental Venus and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We liked the stylish contemporary furnishing and the fact that it was in a block with only one other apartment so we didn't feel crowded out. The living area/kitchen in particular is spacious and uncluttered.
The location was good for us since its only a few mins walk to the supermarket, a laundromat, the railway station and Gronergrat ski train, Yet was on a quiet, narrow, and picturesque lane. We tried both local restaurants (both within 50 metres) and both were good.
I can't imagine anyone being disappointed with their choice to stay here.
