Mimosa Lodge est une maison individuelle de conception moderne et de pointe. La maison est chauffée au centre avec de la pierre polie et du parquet en chêne. Il fonctionne avec des downlights à LED partout et un balcon de Juliette à l'étage pour profiter des vues à couper le souffle. À l'extérieur, le jardin compact de niveau entoure la maison avec pelouse et un coin salon privé orienté sud à l'avant. Il y a beaucoup de places de stationnement. Ce cadre unique et toute l'année en location en font un refuge idéal pour les célibataires, les couples, les familles ou les amis partageant. Pour ceux qui préfèrent des vacances actives ou un cadre tranquille, cette propriété est parfaite pour se détendre à la fin d'une journée bien remplie.

Great stay in Mimosa lodge at Moor View. Hosts were very friendly and were able to accommodate our needs. The lodge is well equipped with everything we needed for our stay and extremely comfortable.Location is excellent, very central for getting around.Would certainly stay there again.

Paul and Anna were wonderful hosts, and the property was perfect for our stay; we wished we could have stayed longer. The location is rural, but there is an excellent farm to table grocery store just a few minutes down the road, and it is fabulous. We would absolutely stay here again!

spacious lodge with all the amenities.

We stayed over a week with family joining us. We had lots of room with washing and drying facilities. Good location although you need a car to get around. Paul and Anna were perfect hosts.

Lovely spacious property well kept and well maintained. Clean fully equipped, would highly recommend for couples or comfortably sleep upto six. As previous reviews have said Paul was a lovely host. Wouldn't hesitate to return at some point. Has ample parking if required.

Lovely, quiet, high standards. A well thought out and designed lodge for a family of 4. Close to both Exeter and the coast, geographically a well placed holiday home. Very clean throughout with a warm feel to the furnishings, everything you need. Thankyou to the hosts.

East Devon Explorer

Unusual design with high quality fittings however furnishings etc and lack of attention to details not in keeping with building. For example no teapot, lack of hanging facilities for wet clothes..

paul, thank you for staying with us, i am sorry to hear that you found there to be a lack of attention to detail, we try hard to ensure that all our guests are happy during their stay, if you had told us during your time with us we would have of course done our upmost to ensure that any issues were resolved. The property does however have a outdoor washing line, a tumble dryer integrated with the washing machine and a indoor drying rack under the stairs.

Fabulous family break in East Devon!

We have just returned from a fantastic 2 week holiday at this fabulous property. I can honestly say it's one of the best places we've stayed in the UK. From the moment we arrived Paul made us feel very welcome. There was a bottle of prosecco waiting for us in the fridge and a lovely arrangement of fresh flowers on the kitchen table. The house itself is beautiful. The house is centrally located for all of the beaches along the East Devon coast. The children liked the sandy beach at Exmouth, which is only about 5 miles away. We also enjoyed a day out in Dartmouth on the steam train and several days at Sidmouth beach, Lyme Regis is also only about 30 minutes away for the Jurassic coast. The house itself is spotless- a true home away from home. There's everything you could possibly need in the kitchen. Plenty of towels and a handy washing machine essential for a family. The chickens and sheep were an added bonus for the children too! We will be back again.

1 week stay with family

Modern, well designed property next door to two similar properties. Location is well suited for numerous beaches and local towns. We had an infant with us which the property wasn't ideal for (flooring/stairs) but we were aware of this in advance and it was manageable and would be absolutely no issue with toddlers confident in their step. Would happily recommend to a family looking for a modern feeling property on a small, quiet site. In addition, the adjacent properties would be ideal for extended family holidays.

Lovely property and great location!

Mimosa Lodge is a lovely property in a great location. The house was clean and well maintained. Paul was friendly and helpful and greeted us on our arrival. He was available should we need any help or advice. The lodge is set in a rural location and our children enjoyed looking at the sheep and playing on the tree rope swing. The property is well situated to explore the local seaside towns including Exmouth, Sidmouth and Seaton and in a good location for lots of family attractions. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Wet Half Term Break

Property met all our needs and was a nice warm relaxing haven against the terrible wind and rain we encountered over the school half term . Great relaxing living area and good bedrooms with comfy beds. When not raining we visited Exmouth , Sidmouth , Dawlish and BudLeigh Salterton . All were within half hour. Would definitely stay again .

Lovely haven of tranquility

We had a great week - lovely location, very relaxed environment and Paul was a great host. The lodge is comfortable and well equipped, with a lovely outlook. We would definitely use the lodge again in the future when we want to explore this part of Devon further.

Lovely peaceful lodge in the Devon countryside, within easy access of Sidmouth and Exeter.

We had a week in this gorgeous lodge in the Devon countryside. In early July. The house is a lovely bright modern design with loads of glass to showcase the views. The accommodation was really peaceful, comfortable and very clean and despite the outdoor temperatures being in the high twenties, the temperatures in the house remained comfortable at all times. The modern kitchen was a delight, as was the thoughtful bottle of milk, and chilled sparkling wine. The hens and ducks were also great fun to watch. Would recommend it to anyone.

Everything you need for a stay away from home was provided. The accommodation downstairs was excellent, spacious and airy comfortably catering for 3 couples. Upstairs the beds were comfortable,the middle room upstairs had no provision to hang up clothes so we shared a wardrobe with another room, this would be my only criticism of the accommodation offered.

Amazing stay at mimosa lodge

Spectacular view and peaceful stay with the family at the lodge. The owners were amazingly friendly and made us feel welcome and provided with everything required. Our stay at the lodge was a wonderful experience very clean and immaculate condition, splendid view with farm outside and kids enjoyed the sheep’s and chickens closeup. Paul was great in providing us with wealth of information and assisting us to enjoy our holiday, his children were also very friendly and warm. We would highly recommend this lodge and definitely return for a second time for a peaceful holiday from the London hustle and bustle to the countryside.

Hello, my name is Paul. My wife Anna and I have lived in the area for 25 years and have 3 teenage children. Having both been born in Devon, we have enjoyed the wonderful countryside the area has to offer, which inspired us to keep sheep, chickens and ducks. Both Anna and I have horticultural backgrounds, being a landscape gardener and florist by trade. We have designed and built a number of properties including cider barn, coach house, school and more recently an oak framed log cabin which we now live in. This then inspired us to build a south facing, cedar clad, glass fronted lodge which has spectacular views, making full use of the sun. So come and join us for a wonderful holiday in this unique location – you will never want to leave!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

The property is surrounded by mature trees and is adjoining Woodbury Commons. This allows us to take lovely long walks over the heathland where nightingales and the Dartford worblers can be seen.

We are centrally located which makes it easy to reach the sea at Budliegh Salterton and Exmouth as well as Sidmouth, and only 10 minutes to Exeter.

There are wonderful views of Dartmoor and Exeter which can be seen from the lodge. The site enjoys sunshine all day long as it is south facing and very sheltered. The site is quiet and removed from the

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

The property is quiet, private and secure. We have 7 acres of land and keep sheep, ducks and chickens. We can sit peacefully beside our wildlife pond which is home to ducks, coots, dragonflies and danselflies, as well as carp and tench.

With so much available locally such as pubs, farm shops, the beach and other tourist attractions, we can offer a place to escape either after a busy day or just relaxing in the front garden soaking up the sun.
