Récemment rénové, North Balkello Cottage est une maison de 4 chambres (8 couchages), dans un endroit extrêmement paisible.

Idéal pour la détente, les familles, les couples et ceux qui aiment le plein air, la marche, etc. 2 salons, grande cuisine / salle à manger / salon bien équipée avec four double, plaque de cuisson, lave-vaisselle.

Il y a une buanderie avec machine à laver et sèche-linge. 1 x douche / salle de bain, 1 x douche / salle de bain attenante et 1 x salle de douche. 4 téléviseurs en interne, 1 avec BT Vision et Sony PlayStation 3 avec une petite sélection de jeux. Wifi gratuit.

Une chaise haute, un garde-escalier, un lit de voyage et un protège-lit sont disponibles.

Lovely Easter Break

The house was spacious, clean with all mod cons. A very comfortable place to stay in beautiful surroundings. We had a lovely week making good use of the house and the hot tub. Eddie was very accommodating.

Wedding Celebrations

Great location for the bride and her party to be based for a local wedding. Great communication from the owner in the run up to the booking. Great house with large communal spaces and bedrooms as well as the social hot tub.

Lovely property

We recently spent 5 nights at the house, there was 8 of us, 5 adults, 3 children and 3 generations! The house worked really well for us. There was plenty of space both inside and out. The house is well equipped and very comfortable. Eddie, the owner, was very good at communicating. I would highly recommend staying at this property.

Wonderful stay in Scotland!

We had an amazing time staying at this cottage. It was very clean, updated kitchen that had everything you would need. Beds were very comfortable, my daughters are still talking about them! Host was great to communicate with. Hope to visit again someday!

Fabulous holiday home!

Felt like a home away from home. Plenty of cooking wear and loved the hot tub!! Close enough to town but also so quiet and peaceful! Easy to find and loved being across the street from a park with walking paths!

Christmas 2023 !!!

It’s a risky thing to do when you decide to book somewhere for your entire family to spend Christmas so we chose carefully and I can honestly say that we made the right choice with Eddies place… Even though the weather wasn’t great, it mattered not because the house was so amazing…we loved every minute of being there and Eddie couldn’t have been more helpful… You will not be disappointed with this property… Top marks for everything!! Thanks for a great Christmas holiday !

Scottish Retreat

The property was exactly as shown in the photos. Semi-Secluded which we wanted, and the directions to the property were fantastic. Well equipped with very comfortable beds and well stocked kitchen. The hot tub was great, and the house provided enough space for everyone to find time to themselves if needed. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderfully comfortable

We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house was as shown in the photos. It was well equipped with everything we needed and more. Great condition. Immaculately clean. We enjoyed having the two lounges to spread out in with family. The hot tub was such an added bonus. The communications with the landlord were very easy and efficient. The woodlands park across the street was another bonus for exploring and just hiking. Highly recommend. So comfortable.

Terrific House.

Great family get together in this very spacious very clean modern house. We all loved the Hot Tub, the games on the TV, out for walks and watching the red squirrels in the garden. The house is in a peaceful location but only 15 mins from Camperdown Park and Dundee Ice Arena. We had a marvellous stay and have already told friends about this holiday home. I’m sure we will be back.

Fantastic property!

A very spacious house with everything that you'd need for your stay! Very modern and clean. The hot tub is amazing! The location is a little remote, but not far from Dundee at all. Communication with Edwin was superb. Would definitely recommend this property.

An amazing property with all utensils provided. Easy to access in a beautiful environment. Owner accommodated us with furniture for a baby which was very helpful. The hot tub was great!! Definitely a place to recommend and for us to choose again! Thank you Doel!

Cottage Outside Dundee

Large roomy comfortable cottage just north of Dundee, Scotland. Owner was extremely easy to work with. I rented the property to play in the Senior Open Qualifier at Blairgowrie Rosemount Course. Many nearby golf courses to play.

Excellent Property

Fantastic property, very clean and really spacious. Would suit groups of friends and families alike. Hot tub was wonderful also. My only suggestion would be that a very large, very easy to read sign would be beneficial at the road end, and also on the property itself, perhaps with the name of the property and “rental property” or something similar on it. This would not only help guests staying there but also taxi drivers and the like.

Lovely quiet cottage

Lovely cottage in a small quiet area, perfect for relaxing getaway. The cottage is very well laid out, with plenty of space, and a well equipped kitchen. Only slight issue was access to cleaning products, to wipe down surfaces, so we just bought our own the second day there. L Little tricky to navigate too but Eddie's instructions make it clear. Just remember to explain to taxi drivers also.

Beautiful clean cottage with plenty of spacious rooms. Hot tub was lovely and lots of garden space for the kids to play games. Great location to Dundee centre.

Superb stay.

We had a thoroughly fantastic stay at the house. Eddie is a great host who was easy to communicate with and very helpful. The house is beautiful and in a lovely location. For a family get together it was perfect. The bedrooms were large and comfortable. The kitchen was large and had everything for our needs. The weather was incredible so we didn't use the televisions etc but the hot tub was superb and a treat after a walk in the nearby hills. The location is still close enough to visit the attractions around Dundee but far enough out to be tranquil and peaceful. We would recommend the property to anyone.

We all had a phenomenal time staying at this home! Will definitely be back and recommend.

From the minute I booked this property Edwin made everything so easy to follow. The pictures of the house don’t do it justice, the rooms are so spacious and just beautiful. The location is perfect, very private but shops aren’t too far away. My family and I will 100% be back to stay again and we will all be recommending to our friends and other family members. Thank you so much Edwin for allowing us to rent the house, we had an amazing weekend.

I grew up in Dundee and went to Uni at Dundee University studying Civil Engineering. I am now self employed, working in the Oil Industry in Aberdeen as a Subsea Engineer.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

This property was built by my Dad in the early 2000's and has now been fully renovated, completed in 2018. Personally I love everything about this house! The location is extremely peaceful with fantastic views, and amazing walks literally from the bottom of our driveway, but we are also just a 20 minute drive from Dundee city centre. The house was recently renovated and offers the highest comfort levels, tastefully decorated, powerful showers, 2 large decks both south facing, catching the sun (subject to availability!) all day, 1 complete with 6 person Jacuzzi!
