I stayed at Joanneâs Place with my cousins for a ski weekend. It was perfect for 10 adults. Very spacious. Easy drive to Gondola Parking. The view from the living space/kitchen is beautiful. Highly recommend.
The house was absolutely perfect for a week long family skiing vacation at Breck. We had family and friends drop in from time to time and it was the perfect size to host everyone for dinner and poker or a game of pool. The hot tub views are breathtaking as well as the living room. I can't recommend this house enough. You won't be disappointed.
We read a review that said the pics donât do it justice and that was correct. The house was very roomie and the bedrooms are large. It was a great house for our family.
Booked the property based on the other reviews saying the photos donât do the place justice. And we were definitely impressed. Enough space for everyone to have their own beds/rooms/spaces. The pool table was a great addition the kids loved. As Husker fans we LOVED seeing all the Husker decor in the basement as well. The kitchen could use some updated pots and pans but otherwise everything worked well and was a great home away from home for 4 days!! Would definitely recommend!!
Loved this property and the neighborhood! The Aspenâs were golden and more abundant than I have ever seen them. The spacious home was clean comfortable, and we would definitely consider staying again. one of the highlights of our stay was the moose family trekking through the yard, just outside the front door.
Love, love, love this property. It is a really beautiful home with all the amenities we needed. It has three decks and a patio in the trees with a wonderful hot tub. There is a gas grill and many pots and pans. There were also crackpots, a coffee maker, and a blender. My family of eight had plenty of room with four bedrooms and an extra area to sleep and a bathroom in the basement. There is a child gate and a booster seat for kids. There was even a small kennel if we had brought our dog. There were lots of extra blankets and fans. There were also board games to play. We are from Nebraska and loved the Husker memorabilia in the basement. We would stay here again ANY time and would consider ourselves blessed. Thanks so much!!!
The house was great and worked perfectly for our 4 night stay in Breck. The house was clean and has everything we needed. The pictures are outdated and don't do it justice, as others have said. The place has fast wi-fi, cable TV, etc. Well stocked kitchen. Nice big table for family dinners. Grill. The location was good. We've stayed closer to town before and its a different experience. It's not walkable to town but close enough that the drive isn't annoying at all. The house is off of a somewhat busy dirt/paved road that is dusty and not great for casual walks around the neighborhood. But it's close to the Peaks trailhead which is nice!
Met our family friends and had a very enjoyable stay at this property. It is a great size, and fit our two families very well. The pool table and hot tub were a hit. Convenient location with a short drive to town. Had a great time!
We were a group of 10 who came for a ski trip. The house is great for hosting a large group. Plenty of clean bathrooms and comfortable beds, as well as a large community table for dining and playing games. It was nice that they had miscellaneous items on hand like coffee filters, condiments and spices, as well as body soap and shampoo. We would certainly stay here again. The neighborhood is beautiful with amazing views and there is a hiking trail that leads to peak 7 only a mile up the road.
Our only real complaint was the lack of snow removal. Normally we would have no issue shoveling snow ourselves, but it was obvious it hadnât been done in so long that it had become hardened ice and was impossible to remove with the plastic shovels on property. Getting to the hot tub was difficult and it was extremely slippery when getting out. The T bar that assists with the lid was broken so getting it on/off was difficult while standing on the side of an icy hill. (side note- some hooks or a table to place towels would be a great addition out there). The balcony off the master was completely snowed in with 2 feet of snow and unusable. The main balcony off the living room was only partially usable due to the ice accumulation on the right half. Thankfully the driveway was navigable (it is very steep so you will definitely need 4 wheel drive in winter months).
Joanneâs Luxury Mountain Home is spectacular! This place was perfect for our multi generation annual family ski trip. We had three households coming together to celebrate time together by and skiing! Grandparents, two sons and their wives, and then grandkids. The master bedroom was perfect for the grandparents on the main floor. The two bedrooms with queen beds were perfect for the other two couples. Then the kids split the bunk room upstairs and the basement bunks. The basement bunk room with the pool table was the ideal teen hang out spot. There are 3 full bathrooms and 1 half bath which is really good for a group this size. The kitchen is spacious with plenty of cooking, prepping and eating together. At night, the cozy fireplace and game table served us well. We did not use any of the tvs, so canât speak to that. But we loved the great room with the wall of windows to stare outside.
The house is well furnished and beautiful.
This house is very convenient to ski Breck. Just a short drive to the gondola parking lot where there is a carpool discount. We also skied Keystone one day which was easy to get to.
The decor is very cute. The towels and sheets are wonderful! We appreciated the ample supply of paper products and cleaning supplies.
Pictures donât do it justice. Wonderful property for our large group of 4 adults, 4 kids, a 1-year-old, and 2 grandparents. The bunk room worked perfectly for our 4 kids, with 2 queen bedrooms upstairs for adults and a large primary bedroom on the main floor. Plenty of space for adults and baby to eat dinner at the dining table (high chair in primary closet for our toddler) and kids at the breakfast bar. All the utensils and cookware we needed. Comfortable seating in the living room. There is an extra bunk in the basement that we didnât use and a full bathroom, which was handy. The pool table was fun and the hot tub was hot, especially in the snow! Took about 10 mins in the morning to drive to the gondola parking lot. Road can get icy, though. We had a water leak happen while we were there (seemed to be a one-off incident), and Joanne was super responsive and easy to get a hold of.
We enjoyed our stay over the busy holiday week. We loved having easy access to Peak 7 & 8, made it super convenient with different skiing schedules. The house was great, nice layout for families, even better than the pictures! Beautiful views, especially from the hot tub!
