Parce que cette maison est située dans un emplacement unique enviable sur le lac Michigan, à seulement 230 yards de Hollands Big Red Lighthouse et la Hollande Harbor qui conduit dans le lac Macatawa vous pourrez profiter des magnifiques maisons le long des rives du lac Michigan et le lac Macatawa! Beautiful location- must be able

Stunning lake front property! It’s important to know though that you must park in a association parking lot in the gated community and transport your luggage in a two wheeled cart the ~ 100 yards down to the house. *The picture may appear as if there is a garage and driveway you pull right up to and the listing doesn’t mention this anywhere. You don’t learn this important logistical detail until you receive the check in letter. Unfortunately I can’t comment on actually staying there as because do to the afore mentioned logistics not disclosed before booking we went able to actually stay as I was physically unable to get to the house upon arrival. Thousands of dollars thrown away as no refund was offered or considered.

Fantastic stay

My wife and I and especially our 3 year old daughter had an amazing week here. Grandma and Grandpa spent a couple of nights with us as well. It’s hard to find a house that’s appropriately sized for a smaller group like ours that still offers all of the amenities that exist here. Anne, the property manager was responsive and easy to deal with. Great experience overall.

Marvelous macatawah

Our family of six just got home today from a week long stay at this home. Everything about this house, location was fantastic. Beach was perfect. Great waves and safe for kids. Lots of sand for volleyball, soccer, badminton, etc. There was no loss of things for the kids to do. The home itself was new and in perfect condition. We have rented homes before and were unhappy with the wear and tear. The upkeep of this house is spot on. New, new, new. Everything you need. Washer, dryer, towels, chairs. Great kitchen to cook in and grill outside. Beds were comfy and clean. Showers luxurious. Sunsets remarkable. Area was quiet but close enough to restaurants. Saugatuck just a quick 10 min south. Grand haven about 20 min north. If you want a beautiful home where quiet and relaxation is attainable this is it. Thank you Anne for making everything run smoothly. LOVED IT!!!

Beautiful and Stress free

We had an amazing time on our two week vacation. We had our three children there (ages 15,12,7) as well as grandparents. With different ages, there was always something to do. The beach is beautiful, lake very swimmable, and sunsets amazing. The rental is completely stocked with everything you need to cook and is beautifully appointed. It's located in the Macatawa Assoc which has a private beach so it's much less crowded than the public beaches in Holland. Anne, the property manager, was very easy to work with and very responsive to my questions from beginning to end of process. She had our deposit back to us within a week of returning home. I would highly recommend this rental! What a beautiful, relaxing time for us before we get back into the craziness of life.

An Experience That Far Exceeds the Highest Expectations - in a Wonderfully Unique Spot in the World

My wife, our 18-month old son and I spent a week in this beautiful home. We typically lean towards 4-star or 5-star hotels as we prefer new, clean and well-designed accommodations. These photos certainly capture the beauty and cleanliness of the home and its ideal location directly on the beach. However, our high expectations were far exceeded due to how well-stocked the home was in every regard (we like to cook and there wasn't a single item we needed that wasn't there and very well-labeled, stroller/high char/pack-n-play for babies, binoculars for bird watchers, luxurious towels for bath and beach, beach umbrella, beach chairs, etc.). I should also note that communication with the property manager Anne and the owners was effortless (Anne was very responsive at every stage of booking, provided all necessary info on accessing the community and the property, and the owner even called on our first day to make sure the property had everything we could have expected and asked if we needed directions or information on the area, etc.). This was our first trip to Macatawa; a very private, quiet community of cottages that was as wonderfully a unique spot as we have ever found in the world. Car-less, well-kept walkways connect cottages to a beautiful private beach just yards from the historic Big Red lighthouse. Everyone was exceedingly friendly, children of all ages were polite and eager to include our son in play activities, and it seemed as though everyone there had been coming back to this same location every year for generations. I should note that this property is by far the nicest, newest and best located property on the beach in this community. Our family hopes to become one of the families coming back year-after-year as well, especially if this property is available to rent!

BEAUTIFUL House on the Beach = PERFECT Summer Get-away!

My husband and I had one of the best vacations ever in this emaculate, brand new, beautiful home on one of Lake Michigan’s best private beaches. Our mornings were spent sitting on the huge front porch sipping coffee and watching the seagulls swirl around the “Big Red” lighthouse. Our days were spent riding our bikes around beautiful Lake Macatawa, shopping in downtown Holland, taking long walks down the sandy shore looking for sea glass, and sitting on the beach reading a novel. We had many restaurants to choose from in the evenings and had the chance to watch the sunset every night from the amazing front porch. It was all in all one of the most relaxing vacations we have had in a very long time. This home would be perfect for a family or a couples or girls getaway. The property owners were very accommodating and did all they could to make our stay a memorable one. This place was everything we had hoped and more!! Thank you Anne!
