2002 log construit dégrossi maison avec 2 chambres, grande mezzanine, et 2 salles de bain complètes. La grande enveloppe autour de pont a lac et vues boisées. Plan d'étage ouvert avec d'énormes, de grandes fenêtres qui donnent sur le lac. Accueil dispose également d'un plafond cathédrale, foyer au propane, plage, micro-ondes, réfrigérateur, lave-linge et sèche-linge. Cadre très privé où vous pourrez profiter de griller sur le pont ou la détente juste pour regarder le coucher de soleil sur l'eau. Glen Rickett et End State Parks du monde dans les 30 minutes. Ville de Dushore est à 10 minutes avec les épiceries, les banques, les magasins de bricolage et 5 restaurants. Les Eagles historiques sont à 35 minutes avec des boutiques et des restaurants. Much Needed R&R

We were looking for a quick getaway to hike and take a moment to unplug from our busy schedules. This spot was perfect. The deck overlooking the pond was perfect for meals outside, morning coffee, and the sunsets were spectacular.The location was fantastic- close to our favorite hiking trails. We hope to book in the future.

Peaceful get away

It’s a secluded cabin with a beautiful view ! We would stay again. We hiked at world’s end state park about 30 min away and went to Knoebels about an hour and a half away.

Beautiful house with great view

The house was very nice, clean and well decorated. Kitchen was well stocked. The view over the deck onto the pond was really beautiful at sunset. The parking is tight if you have more than 1 car. Our kids and grandkids were supposed to come, but couldn't make it so my husband and I had the house all to ourselves. If they were there, the parking would have been a little difficult, with not much room to turn around and not a driveway you can back out of (at least we didn't think so). Once you got off the paved road, there was about 1.5 miles of gravel, with lots of pot holes, so very slow going. That's really the only complaint.. other than that we thought the place was fabulous.

Beautiful setting

The space is great and the setting is beautiful. We just didn't read the notes well enough to know that we needed to bring our own sheets and towels and the area is very remote, so there's no just running out and buying some.

Perfect little getaway

We loved staying at this property! The view from the porch is beautiful from sunrise to sunset. It was nice having two bathrooms located off of both of the downstairs bathrooms. The host provided quick responses for any questions we had. Highly recommend!

Wonderfully secluded getaway

My wife and I enjoyed a week at the cabin, and it was just what we needed to get away. The cabin was clean and had all the amenities we needed. It was very remote which was ideal for us. We would definitely stay again.

Weekend getaway

The cabin was exactly as described. Very cozy and the view of beaver pond was perfect. We really enjoyed ourselves. We even caught a glimpse of a beaver. Great secluded spot in Sullivan county!

Very peaceful

The property was very nice, relaxing, and peaceful. The cabin was clean, and we felt very comfortable, aside from many large black ants. The check-in and check-out process was seamless and communication with the listing agent was very good.

Great Remote Property

My husband and I had a short one night stay at the remote property. We were supposed to stay two nights, but we cut the trip short due to illness. The cabin was nice with a beautiful view. Extremely remote, more so than we expected. We were unable to start the fireplace. I reached out to the host and she was very responsive, but we were still unable to get it going.

Nice short trip.

Checked in Saturday evening. Had beautiful day Sunday. Went to World’s End State park and hiked to Canyon Vista. Also went to high knob overlook. Hiked a total of 10 miles total on Sunday. Got a good night rest and checked out Monday.

Beautiful place

The house was beautiful, with a deck overlooking a pond and a nice, clean interior. We had a little challenge when we first arrived with a downed tree blocking the driveway about 150 yards from the house. But we contacted the manager who quickly arranged for someone to come out to clear it. Within two hours it was removed. All in all, one of the nicest VRBOs we’ve stayed in.

Perfect location to celebrate our 40th Anniversary!!

360 degrees of awesome beauty! After the rain, the gorgeous sunsets with clouds and sun reflecting off the lake were spectacular! The leaves were changing colors, which intensified the beauty!! From dawn to the last bit of light, we have hundreds of magnificent pictures!! We loved every minute here, and we did not want to leave!! Thank you!!

Just fine

Pretty spot, house was serviceable but by no means exceptional. The pros: the location was lovely and the manager was easy to communicate with and allowed us, last minute , to check out an hour late. The cons: it needed a little refresh: the shower curtain had some mildew, the microfiber couch had some stains, the non-stick pots were scratched etc. Overall, I'd stay there again if I were in the area but it didn't blow me away like I was expecting based on other reviews.

Dushore Cabin

The property was given 4 stars on description as there isn't any mention or pictures of the entrance which consists of approximately 20 steps up to the deck. The cabin is located in a remote area away from the everyday noise...if you want quiet time, this one is definitely going to provide that. If you are good with limited access to TV and enjoy watching your own movies on DVD player or your own Netflix subscription, this is the place for you. Our stay was a great one and what we expected.

Peace and Solitude

We loved this little cottage! It is the perfect size for a couple or small group. The loft area would be great for kids. I used it for studying while hubby watched TV. The sofa in the loft is extremely comfy! The kitchen has plenty of cookware and dishes. The propane stove made it nice and comfy. Not too far from Williamsport or Rickett's Glen. We did see some bald eagles hanging out around the lake. Would definitely stay here again.

Our stay

It was great, very peaceful, relaxing, secluded . Its was a awesome get away from every day stuff. Fishing not so good. A bigger tv is needed and air conditioner. We had 90 degree and high humidity it was very warm. And a walk way to the fire pit and pond would be better. Thanks

Surprise 20 stairs to get in the property not in the pictures

Overall it was a very nice cabin. Everything you needed other than the TV was terrible and the Wi-Fi was spotty and the one portable air conditioner was not enough and the pond beaver pond to be exact was underwhelming having to carry firewood up 20 steps across the deck and another 15 20 ft up of dirt hill to the fire pit was less than ideal

Nice place, but many surprises to cut corners.

It was in a remote, pretty setting. At first, difficult to find, but then okay to drive to in daylight. I felt the owner was responsive, but was cutting corners by not allowing the thermostat to go above 68( which made it still cool inside), we had to bring sheets and towels, there was a dryer, but no handle to turn it on, and 2 sliding doors were not working, and we had to take our trash with us to a recycling place 30 minutes away, in the opposite direction that we wanted to drive in. Once there, we had to pay to give them our trash, and that was not mentioned in the rules that were left on the fridge. I understand trying to save some money, but I think that there were too many corners cut for this rental.

Lovely home and location - but stairs were problematic.

Last year I rescued a 9 year old dog with hip problems who was unable navigate the 25 plus wooden stairs used to enter the home., so I could not stay there. Our family changed plans so my daughters family could use for sleeping instead of myself. There were Dirty old pillows and stained mattress protectors that we had to wash before using. Even at coldest setting Milk curdled In refrigerator because refrigerator did not maintain a normal cold temperature. Furniture was old and torn. Poorly stocked kitchen - Family was unable to cook there and utilize the grill. Excessive Stairs should have been accurately described on website or a picture posted.
