"Carolina On My Mind" est une maison d'un étage magnifiquement rénovée, sans escalier, à seulement 8 minutes à pied de la magnifique plage Folly Field. Plan d'étage complètement ouvert pour recevoir. Grande cour clôturée idéale pour recevoir de jeunes enfants et bébés en fourrure. Notre maison est juste en face du sentier de vélo / randonnée.

En entrant, vous ferez l'expérience d'un magnifique foyer ouvert carrelé qui mène à un grand espace de vie ouvert comprenant la salle à manger, la cuisine et la salle familiale.

La salle familiale accueille de nombreux sièges et comprend un grand canapé, un fauteuil inclinable et un coin bureau. Il présente également une cheminée à bois en pierre avec une télévision à écran plat et un lecteur DVD Blu-Ray, qui peut être visionnée depuis le salon principal entier. La laveuse et la sécheuse sont juste à côté de la salle familiale, avec une entrée séparée.

La salle à manger comprend une belle table de ferme avec des sièges rembourrés pour six personnes, ainsi qu’un comptoir de petit-déjeuner pouvant accueillir quatre personnes. La cuisine récemment rénovée accueille des comptoirs en granit, des appareils en acier inoxydable, un four micro-ondes, une cafetière Keurig et tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour des vacances sans stress.

La salle de bains principale comprend un téléviseur à écran plat, un lit queen Tempur avec portes françaises menant à la cour privée pour profiter de votre café du matin. La salle de bain principale se compose d'un lavabo en granit et d'une douche surdimensionnée avec banc.

La chambre n ° 2 dispose d'un lit queen-size, d'une télévision à écran plat, du câble, de parquet, d'un grand placard avec étagères.

La chambre n ° 3 dispose d'un lit queen-size, d'une télévision à écran plat, d'un câble, d'une moquette et d'un grand placard avec rangement intégré.

La chambre n ° 4 comprend deux ensembles de lits superposés, une télévision à écran plat, du parquet, un grand placard avec rangement.

Toutes les chambres ont un stockage adéquat et des ventilateurs de plafond.

Salle de bain a un comptoir en granit avec un lavabo et une grande douche.

La grande cour arrière clôturée comprend un patio extérieur pour les réceptions avec sièges en coupe, des chaises, une table pour quatre personnes pour le dîner et un gril à gaz pour tous vos besoins de cuisson en plein air. Le patio est recouvert d’une pergola éclairée avec des sièges intégrés et d’un bar. Il contient également une douche extérieure pour rentrer de la plage et vous laver le sable et vos jouets.

La cour arrière est parfaite pour les réunions de famille, les trous de maïs, les fers à cheval ou pour permettre à votre membre de la famille à poil bien obstrué d'avoir de la place pour errer. Vélos, chaises de plage, jouets de plage, jeux, DVD et livres sont à votre disposition.

Excellent Property!

This was an awesome house! It fit the needs of everyone in our group with as young as 7 and as old as 78. The owners were very communicative and helpful. They had beach chairs, toys, bikes, etc. This house has an excellent floor plan and had a walk in shower (great for the elderly). We loved the pool, especially the tanning shelf that our 7 year old spent a lot of time on. We highly recommend!

Wonderful relaxing stay!

Our family had a great time on our vacation! We brought my mom, our two kids, and our two dogs. It was the perfect distance from the beach, about a 10 minute walk. We biked and made good use of all the beach chairs, beach toys, and the wagon. The pool was amazing! We spent to much time there each day. We hope to come back next year!

Superior Home at HHI

The home was lovely. Well appointed kitchen with some nice extras. The house was decorated beautifully and was so comfortable. The outdoor area was just amazing. The pool and spa were perfect and we loved the screened in pergola. Just a short 10 min walk to the beach too. We had a great time and felt refreshed after our stay here. The owners kept us informed of all planned pool cleaners, landscapers and trash pick up schedules. They were very easy to contact and quick to respond to any questions. We would definitely stay here again.

Family Spring Break

Had a great family stay over spring break. Appreciated all the beach gear, pool toys and bicycles. The house is a short walk to the beach, close to grocery and other amenities, and has a well stocked kitchen.

Great Location, Super comfortable!

Our family had a great stay over the Thanksgiving holiday, the amenities were great, outdoor sitting area with fire, hot tub and TV. Place was very relaxing, comfortable, and near the beach, we really enjoyed.

Family of 8 enjoyed our stay

We were celebrating our 50th anniversary with our daughter, son, and their families. Very nice accommodations. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Hurricane Debby decided to visit for 3 days. The house had puzzles and games to help pass the time. And flashlights and candles if the power went out (it didn't). We were able to make trips to restaurants and distilleries between rain showers. Wish we had had an opportunity to use the 8? bicycles but the weather interfered. There are about 10 beach chairs available for use too. Hope to visit again and would consider this house. We met the grey parrot and macaw on the porch across the street. Heard them whistling and talking and asked to meet them.

Much needed family vacation

We rented this house for a family vacation. It was PERFECT! It had everything you needed even beach chairs, a beach wagon and plenty of bikes. The house is within walking distance to the beach and the backyard with the pool and gazebo is where we spent our time after the beach. There are plenty of puzzles and games, which a few of us did in the evenings and during the rainy times. We highly recommend this house and will definitely be renting it again. Thank you and we will be in touch for next year!

Beautiful Home

Our family really enjoyed this beautiful, beachy home. The patio, hot tub & pool are the best. Kitchen was very well stocked & great to cook in. Gas Grill was great too. Our first time staying in Folly Field area, much less traffic. Our only wish was that the beach was closer, it was a 10-15 minute walk w/kids & stuff. Beach was very crowded so we didnt go often. Plus our pool area was awesome at the house! Watching the Olympics from the pool, amazing!

Carolina on my mind

We had a fantastic time while staying at Carolina on my Mind. The house was so beautiful and clean and the beds were the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on. The location of the house is PERFECT. Just a 8 minute walk to the beach and mini golf/arcade/restaurant. The house was fully stocked with all the necessities we needed. The pool/spa was like a mini oasis. All beach chairs and beach necessities are provided as well. Joe and Tonya were great hosts and very responsive when we text with questions. We hope to come back to SC someday and would definitely stay here again. Thank you for sharing your home with us and our furbabies.

This Place was Awesome!

We thoroughly loved this house. You all don’t know me but I am picky & annoying when I stay somewhere other than my home. I’m a 5 star hotel kinda girl (whether or not I can afford it…that’s what I expect…like I said, I’m annoying!) Somehow, Tonya made this home utterly fantastic. I have no complaints and didn’t want to leave. I highly recommend this rental and want to thank the owners for thinking of absolutely everything so that our trip was fantabulous.

Family vacation

Lovely home! Everything you need at your fingertips. Pool and hot tub was great! Pergola area was awesome for our family. 5-8 minute Walk to golf/arcade/restaurant. Beach walk is easy but think more 10-12 minute walk so you need a drop off with your beach gear. Parking is available at the beach. Nice beach, easy access. Bikes available in shed and a nice 6 mile ride to Caligney shopping. Great stay!

Beautiful home

We were on a family vacation, and we were overly pleased with the home. It was clean, fully stocked, and Mrs. Tonya was readily available throughout our stay. It is evident that there has been much preparation and love invested into this home, and we were glad to have found this gem. There was enough room for everyone to have their own space, and gathering space for when we wanted to all be together out on the patio, around the dinner table, cooking meals, or just lounging around. The access to the beach, walking or driving is rather close (about a 10 minute walk to the sand), and a 10-15 minute drive to many of the island’s attractions, shopping, and restaurants. Neighborhood is quiet, and although it’s close to the main road it was not a bother or unpleasant.

Best time on HHI

Perfect for family of four(parents and two 20+ “kids”. The pool and spa were PERFECT!! The house is super charming. Had all we needed in a perfect(less crowded) beach area. 10 minute (shaded) walk to beach. We are on shorter side…. Anyone 6’plus just needs to be aware of ceiling fan in master bdrm. There is a 4th bedroom with bunk beds… we used to store golf clubs and clothes. So we were able to enjoy space. It was really as perfect of a rental we could ask for. Plenty of linens. Comfy comfy bed in master. Spa towels. The owners went out of their way to ensure comfort. Oh yeah! Came with bikes. Again…tall people be wary of low threshold of shed. Racked my head twice! Only only small suggestion would be better WiFi. If no care about streaming, than not a problem!

Lovely house and backyard oasis

My family and I enjoyed our stay very much. The house was very clean and a nice size for our party of 8. The highlight of the property was the backyard pool and seating areas. The covered pergola was very comfortable and you could grill and eat outside as well as watch tv! The backyard was well maintained and very pretty. The hosts offered bikes and other beach supplies that were super convenient for beach days. The beach was a short bike ride or walk down a shaded bike path. About 7 minutes walking.

Awesome location w pool!

We stayed at this location w 4 babies under 4. The bunk bed room fit 2 pack n plays nicely. Having a pool with the water ledge was great. The house comes well equipped with so many things for the beach (umbrellas, wagons, canopies). The outside shower & pergola allowed for a lot of seating for all. We packed up one car with all of the things & then the rest of the crew took the short walk to the beach. The pool gets quite hot during the afternoon, but who can complain about the heat!? This was an awesome week get a way & we highly recommend to anyone.

Everything you need!

This house was well equipped for two families with children! Staying for a week we did bring some of our own staples from home but the kitchen was fully stocked with cooking basics. There were plenty of towels and beach supplies. The wagon came in handy as the walk is a little far with small children. Without kids it took us 7 minutes vs 15 😆. We loved the backyard space! Thank you for allowing us to stay!

Family Vacation in June 2023

We had an excellent time on our recent trip to HHI. The home was just how the listing described. Tonya was amazing to communicate with via VRBO and text. Adults and children were all comfortable in the home. The pool was amazing to have and the beach was an easy (3-5min) bike ride or (8-10min) walk away. Shopping and restaurants are a short drive away as well. We are looking forward to our next trip!

Terrific location

Our hosts were gracious, respectful and highly responsive throughout our reservation process and during our stay. They made terrific amenity suggestions (restaurants, local services, entertainment). This home’s interior is spotless! Kudos to the housekeeper. The pool and spa were perfectly suited to our needs. The location to the beach, restaurants, etc., was ideal.

Perfect home for families or small groups!

This home was perfect for us! The house was comfortable and clean and had several nice touches like a working fire place inside and gas fire table outside. There was plenty of seating and places for family members to hang out. Ample beach towels, bikes, and outdoor chairs were so appreciated! We opted for the hot tub which was perfect on the warmer days (we were there over Christmas break). The wide and well-maintained walking trail across the street that leads to the beach was great for stretching legs and dog walking. The location of the house was great and made for easy travel to all that HHI has to offer. Fantastic communication with the host, including fantastic restaurant and activity recommendations! An added bonus were the super nice neighbors! We would definitely stay here again!

Carolina On My Mind 8/2022

The house was exceptionally clean and in a great location a 3-4 minute bike ride or 8 minute walk. My family with ages 9 - 57 greatly enjoyed the house, the pool, the bicycles and all of the included extras necessary for the beach (canopy, lots of chairs, beach wagon). Communication with the property owners was wonderful as well. They were always available to answer any questions that came up. Thanks for sharing your home with our family.

We fell in love with South Carolina when our youngest Son started attending University of South Carolina in 2007. We hope you enjoy our Beach home as much as we do.

We bought down in Hilton Head because we fell in love with the island when our son chose University of South Carolina, Beaufort to attend college and stayed on the island to teach Elementary School.

The Best thing about our home is the walk to the beach and the private pool/spa, the distance to the bike path, the quiet friendly residential community and the large private back yard. Also, our home is a perfect one level home, no stairs, room for plenty of parking close to the front door. We offer use of up to 8 bikes, beach chairs, all beach supplies and games.
