This home was clean, comfortable and had all the comforts of home in a beautiful setting. Itâs close to the Cliffs of Moher and the village Doolin. The host provided snacks and breakfast foods which was greatly appreciated by our family! I highly recommend this vacation home! Thanks for the warm hospitality!
LOVED this stay!!! Absolutely lovely gem within 5 minutes of the Cliffs of Moher. The extra touches were so appreciated such as breakfast and snack items. Having a laundry machine on site was so helpful and we loved the wood stove. The view of the ocean was spectacular as well! Easy communication with the host. Book here!
This place is very charming with breath taking views. The beds were very comfortable and the amenities were excellent - fridge stocked with some light breakfast snacks and full coffee bar. Communication from property was great. The sunsets were amazing to watch from the hot tub. Only a minor thing we would change is the spiders. There were lots of spiders in corners and doorways. But as long as we didnât disturb them, they didnât bother us. Otherwise the house was very clean for a charming cottage.
From the moment we walked in, we were in love with this lovely home. As hosts, they thought of everything!! You will feel spoiled and pampered when you stay here. In the refrigerator, we were gifted local smoked salmon, Irish cheese, Irish crackers, fresh eggs, milk and juice. There were real wool throw blankets curled up next to the over stocked fireplace.
This home provided any and everything you would need for a memorable stay. There are modern amenities and classic comfort, real cottage decor.
We did use the hot tub and were very appreciative on how clean it was. You can control the temperature, jet settings and even the color of the lights!
One thing this gem also provides is the closeness to the Cliffs of Moher. It is less than a five minute drive and honestly on a clear day, you could walk it. It is also 10-15 minutes to lovely dinner locations in the heart of Doolin and to two local grocery stores.
The only downside (we found it funny!) is watch out when it rains. There is a puddle that forms right outside the cute brick wall where you park and when cars pass, SPLASH. It comes flying over the wall and almost to the door!! Almost got me a few times, but it was no big deal, just funny.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about this cottage and we hope you enjoy it as much as we did. When we return, we will stay here again. It truly was the highlight of our trip!
Lovely place , enjoyable stay only suggestions would be to have better instructions up front about toilet ( needing to fill a bucket and pour into bowl in order for it to flush). And written instructions for shower ( needing to pull string outside of shower in order for it to work) would be helpful.
We loved our stay in this Irish cottage! The views were amazing! The cottage was updated and beautiful inside and check in was easy. We would definitely stay here again and for longer than 1 might!
