My friends and I stayed at this lovely villa for a week and had the most wonderful time. The view from the villa is spectacular, and the villa itself is beautiful. The pool was so nice and the beach area was our favorite place to be. The host made sure we had everything we needed and was gracious and kind. Would definitely recommend this place, hopefully we will be back!

Faboulous villa in a cool place

Aphrodite villa is a perfect place to enjoy the quiet at early morning into the private beach or into the residence pool, and it's also only 5 min driving from the crowdy Ornos and 15 min from Mykonos. The front patio has a fantastic view straight to Ornos bay, and the villa can accomodate till 8 people. Truly recommended to enjoy a nice stay with family or group of friends.

A little Villa Overlooking the bay

We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the villa very much. Christina was wonderful with offering suggestions for places to see and visit. The villa’s onsite pool and beach were very nice and more secluded for days you didn’t want to travel to public beaches. This villa is a 10 min drive to Little Venice and Mykonos Town Christina’s home is well kept, clean and spacious for the 5 of us. We loved the outdoor covered veranda. The house had good air movement and was comfortable even on 80F temperature days Thank you Christina for making our visit to Mykonos so lovely! We hope to be back soon

Setting and property as described. Tranquil and relaxing. Local taverna friendly and efficient. Maria excellent front of house. Christina was a mine of knowledge and really helpful. We wished that we had taken her advice on hiring a car, taxis were exorbitant although the roads were narrow and busy. The island too is busy and expensive

Good property but parking …

We enjoyed our stay at the property which was clean and comfortable for 2 families. The property had all the amenities that it listed on vrbo. Our only issue is parking which is in the entrance so the day we were checking out, one of the family had parked their car on the street which they would not move even after our request. So we had to drag all our luggage and trash by foot which was challenging. Leave enough time for check out if this happens to you. Also, the resort has quite hours between 3-6 in afternoon so kids couldn’t enjoy the pool during this time.

Beautiful, relaxing stay in Mykonos in a perfect location

The Aphrodite Villa was the perfect location for our Mykonos stay. We loved Ornos, and the fact that the Costa Ilios Resort was just a bit 'off the beaten' path. It was such a relaxing and beautiful atmosphere, and an easy drive to everywhere we wanted to go on Mykonos. We rented a car at the recommendation of the owner, and it was the right choice. There is free parking at the villa, which was terrific. Plus, the car rental company had valet lots in towns where we could also park for free and walk wherever we wanted to go. Everything about the villa itself was simply lovely and so comfortable, and Mrs. Christina made us feel very welcome. Her communication prior to our arrival was great through VRBO, and while we there she was always available via What's App to answer questions, and all of her recommendations were spot on. We loved our dinner at Apaggio in Ornos, and you should definitely have dinner there during your stay. Honestly, Mrs. Christina made it feel like we were staying at a favorite aunt's home - she loves Mykonos and her villa, and her warmth came through in every communication. The private beach at the resort is small but beautiful, and shielded from the winds which made for a great morning sitting in the sun. The resort itself is a beautiful collection of villas, and now has a tavern on site which was great. Unfortunately we didn't get to use the pool as it was being repaired, but it was a HUGE pool and gorgeous, spacious patio - we look forward to jumping in for a swim during our next stay. There will definitely be a 'next time' for us at the Aphrodite Villa. It was the perfect spot to celebrate our 25th anniversary with friends, and Mrs. Christina was the best hostess. We can't wait to return!

Property needs to be updated and amenities are exaugurated.

I'm surprised the reviews I read before booking were so positive. I found the home to be cramped and in need of a significant update. We never met Mrs. Alexander the VRBO host. I'm not even sure she lives on the island, however she did routinely call to make sure things were going well. We were greeted when we arrived by the cleaning lady, who seemed very nice, but didn't speak any English. Some of the amenities are significantly exaugurated. For example the house is advertised as having heating and air conditioning. The heating consists of space heaters, which we had to request when the house was uncomfortably cold. The "air conditioning" is supplied by ceiling fans (It says that in the amenities detail, but in the VRBO highlights it advertised A/C). One towel was provided for each guest, but no beach towels were available. There is no dishwasher, so we hand washed all dished, but again, only one towel was provided. I didn't realize it when I reserved the property but, many of the pictures of the home were taken with a wide angle lens, which made the place appear larger. In fact, the top floor shower is so small you can't bend over to pick up a dropped bar of soap. The mattresses in all rooms need to be replaced. Then there were a couple of little things that could have made the place more inviting. The water isn't drinkable, so you must purchase bottled water. It would have been a nice touch to provide one bottle to get guests started. There is a washing machine, but there was no laundry soap. When I texted Mrs. Alexander she initially replied that laundry soap wasn't provided, but later had the cleaning lady deliver 1 cup (in cup). Finally, it would have been nice to have some written recommendations or brochures, but Mrs. Alexander did call frequently with recommendations. The only real positive about the house is the huge covered patio, where we spent most of our time. It offers a terrific view and is where we spent most of our time.

Girls Trip Stay

First, the pros: The location is lovely, the resort grounds are beautiful and the pool and beach are quite nice. If you are driving a rental car, there is great parking which is very nice. It is a gated community The covered patio is a nice area to spend time and it is tucked back so it breaks the wind However, a few things about the VRBO itself: The first thing to understand is that we were four grown women on a girls trip of a lifetime. We stayed four days, three nights in September 2022. The two upstairs bedrooms are wonderful and have a nice view of the ocean and a nice breeze The two bedrooms downstairs are, well, downstairs. The room with the queen size bed has a view of a wall and the room with the twin beds has a really high window that looks between two villas - not that you can see out the window. When we asked about beach towels, the host told us that she tells guests to bring their own beach towel. I don’t remember reading or being told that but, regardless, I was on a three week holiday and space for a beach towel in my suitcase was not going to happen. She said that they stopped supplying beach towels due to COVID - okay, but the entire EU, airlines and other businesses have lifted COVID restrictions so I’m not sure why the beach towels were still an issue. We asked for additional toilet paper (remember we were four women and we go through some toilet paper) we were told that we had to buy our own toilet paper!!!! I have rented MANY VRBO’s and I have NEVER had to buy my own toilet paper! We asked to have our waste bins emptied (remember you cannot flush toilet paper on any of the Greek Islands). We were told no, that we have to empty our own waste bins and carry our trash out to the garbage in front of the condo. That is gross!!! We were NOT happy about that!! Our host said she was not a hotel and could not afford to have someone clean the waste bins which ‘takes 4 minutes’. We were not made aware of this before hand. Also, we couldn’t find any extra garbage bags to put the trash in so we had to use waste bin bags and plastic bags from the grocery store. With all the fees and insurance, we spent close to 500 Euro a night on this VRBO. For that amount, we expect more. At least to get our waste bins and trash emptied - and to be supplied toilet paper. I have several other comments but not enough characters in this review. Knowing all this now, we probably would have stayed at another location.

Good afternoon , I am sorry to hear about your disappointment. In all due respect, I was reading the review for some constructive criticism but I failed to find any. We do not provide beach towels because we are not a hotel, we provide the house and whatever includes part of " the house", I think you might have confused concierge services of a hotel with renting a house. Secondly, it literally costs 5 euros per towel (also wrote to you where to buy them from). As you mentioned, you paid money for the villa, and the insurance (which not quite sure why you needed it), so I do not understand why this amount of 5 euros would be a problem for you to pay to buy one. It is as reasonable, bringing one, as it is bringing your swimming suit on an island. If i provided beach towels per client per booking we would spend a ridiculous amount per year, plus it would be unhygienic to recycle them. I am sorry you failed to read the house rules because it was stated (n.2 rule) and sent to you via private message ; "bring your own beach towel, because we do not provide with one". Also, yes, my cleaning lady- who does not have a car, and does not live in the resort- it would be very cruel from our part, to bring over another "grown" woman for literally a 4 minute job without a car for that. Also she would charge hourly for that, and she would not have a way to transport back. I am sorry, I asked you to throw the garbage you made and produced in the house at the end of your visit, but I find it as reasonable as maybe not destroying the sheets, not breaking anything in the house (at least that it how I was raised believing is right thing to do; maybe manners and correctness, are not cross-cultural in today's era), but also my grown cleaning woman has back problems and I respect her too much to ask her to carry it with her issues all the way out, because I respect my employees above all. Moreover, I am deeply sorry you failed to see the pictures close enough of the house as I do not project a view from the lower 2 bedrooms and in fact I have pictures showing exactly what you missed to notice. So I make sure it is seen and showed and I do not in any way, shape or form show something different from what it is. Lastly, I am not quite sure what the insurance has to do with me, since I am not getting any of that amount, so the insurance is a personal thing and a personal choice that I do not benefit from, and it has nothing to do with the house or booking... so I am sorry you choose to pay 500 euro due to the insurance but that has nothing to do with the house or booking . Also the amount you mentioned paying divided by 6 people, in the most expensive location in the word is actually quite low so I fail to see your point, especially since it has free amenities like a private beach, sunbeds, and pool that no other house or hotel in Mykonos can offer. Lastly, I do not understand how you write so many compliments about location , resort, pool , beach etc while you rate it with a 2 star review. I truly find it quite unreasonable, cruel and in bad faith. Also, I am quite confused on how you start saying that it is a wonderful location and end it up with the fact that you would "stay in another location". Nevertheless, i hope you have better endeavors and experiences the way you imagine them, and I hope you have a great rest of the winter.

Magnifique endroit très agréable

Cette maison a un emplacement de très haut niveau et très calme et sécurisé. Beaucoup de place dans les chambres, climatisation dans toutes les chambres et espace extérieurs fabuleux de plus de 30 m² devant la mer. très proche de la plage privée et de la très grande piscine avec un Bar Exterieur. La propriétaire est très compréhensive et à notre écoute.

Nous avons passé un sejour incroyable. La vue sur la mer est magnifique. Le resort est calme et très beau. La plage privée du resort est à couper le souffle et a l'abri du vent. Notre hote à été disponible à n'importe quel moment et nous avons pu compter sur elle à chaque question. Encore merci.

We had an amazing time at Afrodite Villa. This is a very clean house with a superb sea view. There is a great swimming pool and we really enjoyed the fantastic private beach. The owner was very helpful. Full marks with distinction. We will come back

Maison Costa Ilios

C'est une belle maison très propre, grande verandas. Elle est bien située, on a une superbe vue sur la mer depuis la maison qui est au bord de l'eau, le jardin est très beau. La propriétaire est très disponible et elle nous a conseillé pendant tout le séjour à Mykonos. La plage privée est géniale ainsi que la piscine. Merci nous reviendrons c'est sûr!

GÉNIAL !!!!

La maison est super belle et très propre avec une très grande terrasse et vue sur la mer. Nous étions 8 amis, il y avait assez d’espace pour tout le monde. Depuis la terrasse et les chambres, la vue est MAGNIFIQUE autant de jour que de nuit. La propriétaire est très agréable et préventive elle a répondu à toutes nos questions avant et après notre arrivée. Le ressort contient une grande piscine privée, il y a 2-3 personnes dans la piscine donc beaucoup de place pour nager. Il y a aussi une très jolie plage privée avec une superbe vue
